Always Clean Vehicles

Featured Replies

Is there any way to make vehicles "Always Clean"? I don't personally like my car(s) being covered in mud, when all I've done is drive through the city streets. I also don't like how quickly vehicles become dirty. I timed myself, and found it was every 6 minutes the vehicle is at full-dirt levels. 6 minutes.....

So what I've tried to do is change the dirt levels in the meta file. However, this doesn't seem to do anything. Currently my only known option is to open the Trainer every 6 minutes and constantly clean the vehicle. Is there any better way to do this? Thank you for any advice, and happy New Year!!!!

As someone who experienced the same problem, I can completely agree! Though I am not aware of any scripts/plugins that achieve this.

I'm following the topic but if I have some free time & no alternatives are posted, perhaps I could make this for you.

Best.

If I'm not mistaken Rampage Trainer has that feature.

Hmm... Looking through it, all I can find is it has a "God Mode" just like the SNT. But that's not going to clean the vehicle, only fixes it when you hit something.

Hi VRDog,

It's nice seeing you again.

There is a "mod" called "No Dirt Mod." It's a modified "Decals.dat" that decreases the dirt level or changes it to zero. (I assume). But I'm not sure whether or not it'll work on addon cars.

 If you have a blood mod installed, it's recommended to edit "Decals.dat" manually via Visual Studio, that way you can compare the two files and only replace the part that is related to dirt on vehicles.

Hey I just wanted to come back and report that in my trial-run of Rampage Trainer, I haven't seen any dirt building up when using "Vehicle God Mode". So it appears you're right, I think that trainer specifically disables Dirt Buildup when using God Mode for a vehicle.

Keep in mind that whenever vehicle god mode is active, anytime it incurs damage, the sirens will reset. So if you notice them acting weird, that is why.

I know that happens at least with Simple Trainer. Not sure if Rampage has a fix for that or not.

it does! "Wash", found in Vehicles -> Customize Vehicle (as of my testing) does stop dirt once it's applied to a vehicle. The car is not able to get dirty. I drove in the swamps for a few minutes and the dirt level never changed. Although this allows your vehicle to get damaged. Also, it doesn't automatically reset your vehicle (Messing with ELS, your car coming to a stop after a collision etc.)

Hope this is helpful!

You can achieve this also with Simple Trainer under the Vehicle God Mode Setting.   Look for the settings feature of God Mode below the enabled and you can enable or disable certain aspects of God mode if you like.  For example, if you want all the realistic damage to occur like normal but only want to enable a clean vehicle 100%,  there is an option at the bottom for that as well.

As far as backup responding dirty you can go to the vehicle meta file and look for as an example below

<dirtLevelMin value="0.300000" />
<dirtLevelMax value="0.850000" />

Change values to 0

The vehicles do spawn in and also backup do respond with cleaner vehicles.  I would say about 98% cleaner than normal.
