Does the issue persist if you rename your mods folder to "_mods" ?

Hello there, Please find the information below provided by the author of SimpleTrainer. Since R has enabled direct storage on Enhanced, there is no way to write to trainerv.ini in-game anymore, therefore you need to change the location of that file, and move it out of the game directory. If you are on legacy, copy the trainerv.ini to %appdata%\trainerv\legacy\ if trainerv\legacy doesn't exist, either create the folders or run the game once, as it will create those directories for you. On Enhanced you move the ini file to %appdata%\trainerv\enhanced. Note how %appdata% is an environment variable the full path is c:\users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Roaming\trainerv\legacy or c:\users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Roaming\trainerv\enhanced. Some people have noticed slower saving times when doing this, for this you just need to add a folder exception in Windows defender, or whatever AV you are using. For windows defender: search for Windows security, Virus & thread protection settings, manage settings, exclusions, add or remove exclusions, add an exclusion, folder, and now type in %appdata% into the address bar, and select trainerv folder, and select folder. To make the defender exception you could also run powershell as admin and enter : Add-MpPreference -ExclusionPath $env:APPDATA"\trainerv"

Have you ensured you've added the AddonDLC pack you've installed to your DLCLIST.xml located in the mods/update/update.rpf/common/data folder?

I've just tested this myself, and it works fine. -- Does the issue persist if you don't launch using the RagePluginHook.exe, rather than launching the game on its own through Steam and launching RagePluginHook after you've gained control of your character? -- It might be worth checking for Steam client updates that could be pending. Click the word "Steam" at the top left of your client, and hit "Check For Steam Client Updates."

Hello there, From what you're describing, it would appear to be a mods folder issue. If this is the case, you can test this by renaming your mods folder from "mods" to "_mods" (this disables your modifications from loading.) If your game still crashes, this would clear your mods folder from being the cause. If you no longer crash after doing the above steps, here are my suggestions to you. 1) Revert any recent changes to your mods folder. 2) Remake your mods folder from scratch 😕

Using a trainer, you can remove this softlock by ending your character's animation. This should hopefully allow you to move and interact with peds once again. As for what is causing this issue, I cannot help you.

Have you altered any game files (mods folder)? What exactly are you doing when the error occurs? Are you on the latest version of the game with the latest trainer versions (for said game version)?

Hey, I have something that might interest you. Unfortunately, it is not a standalone feature of this modification, but rather applies to a specific callout within the plugin. Charlie686's 686 Callouts KOFI version (https://ko-fi.com/686) has a callout, "Swat Raid," where you can task your peds to stay put, follow you, and engage. To the best of my knowledge, this doesn't exist anywhere else.

Trainer V is not functioning correctly, whether that be due to an altered game file or the fact that it conflicts with other ScripthookV scripts. Try disabling any other trainer modifications, or disable Trainer V and opt for a different trainer.

You don't sound critical of this plugin, you're just expressing your understanding of a plugin in a forum... where you're asking for people's opinion about said plugin. In my opinion, that was an uncalled-for tirade; it's not like they compare their own plugin to be that of one similar to STP and UB in the first paragraph of their mod description. ...

I would start going through the points of failure: 1) Is it installed at all? Ensure ELS is installed at the right location, and is functioning in-game, you can check by launching the game, tabbing out, and looking for an "ELS.log" file, or in an ELS vehicle, hitting "Ctrl+P" to bring up the ELS overlay 2) Have I installed the Vehicle VCFs? Ensure the vehicles you're using are ELS compatible, and if so, you have installed the VCFs required with matching names, in the correct location. You place the VCFs provided in the car pack you're using in your "ELS>Pack_Default" folder

Hello Chris, This appears to be an issue with AdvancedHookV.dll If you remember from the past, this file became redundant, and users were instructed to download a "hotfix" version of AdvancedHookV.dll. On the latest version of GTA5, this "hotfix" broke. The solution is to download ELS (V1.05) as normal, and replace the hotfix AdvancedHook.dll *the one you currently have installed* with the one included in the ELS package. **don't install the hotfix** If this doesn't solve your issue, please let us know.
