What Cars Would You Like To See Patrolling Near You?

 

I live in a small city in Scotland (200,000 inhabitants) so theres not really a lot of police cars patrolling near me apart from this and last week for obvious reasons XD But id like to see more Traffic units patricuallary the Volvo's because they're cool :)

[EDIT] Id like to add that there should be less of those god damned bicycle units,there low cost but how bad can response times get :)

Those Volvo's are nice, though you're not likely to see them as they're mainly for traffic units more than anything else.

And I agree with Bicycle patrols, they're frankly ridiculous and remind me of 21 Jump Street... the only use for them really is PCSO's doing neighbourhood patrols.

Here in Ontario, Canada where I live we drive the CVPI, Taurus and Charger but I would like to see the new Police Utility and possibly the caprice or simply the Tahoe.

Down here in Staten Island we have focuses more often now. There's still an asston of impalas and vics around, but I want moarrrr

My local force, Sussex Police, have some very nice cars.

 

Ford Focus: Area Car / Patrol Car

BMW Estate: Roads Policing Unit / Traffic (Which I'll be driving next year)

Mercedes Sprinter: Mass Transport / Public Order Control

BMW X5: Patrol Car

Rangerover: Patrol Car / Highways Agency

 

I don't really see many cop cars, but when I do, it is usually only this.

 

 

But sometimes, you'll see this. I am surprised how many unmarkeds/stealths we have though.

 

 

No seriously.

I would love to see some Gran Furys and some Dodge Monacos

I live in Queens, NY, and it seems as if all the NYPD uses as marked cars in the boroughs that aren't Manhattan are Impalas and the occasional Fusion.  I'd love to see a few more CVPIs and perhaps the new Taurus and Caprice around.
