I'm sure something like this and many other Mods will come. The Game will have way better Mod Support i think.

Perhaps a very basic mod, but I don't see us spending too much effort on it.

Having a Cop skin, be able to have shootouts, hot pursuits and calling backup would be absolutely enough 🙂

Yeah it would be cool if we can see this mod on not only gta SA but gta VC and GTA 3 I would like to play as a swat or FBI in GTA 3 and VC

this would be awesome, los santos is getting kinda boring

The LSPD Team should just make a survey and ask who want this Mod.
LSPDFR is finished so why not taking a new Challenge? We didn't got a new GTA for a long Time now so please do it.

I don't think LSPDFR is finished at all but I agree. It would be cool so see a small mod where you can respond to a few callouts and pursuits and call for backup. Nothing major, just a small mod

I wouldnt say finished, as LSPDFR is a mod which can be continuously expanded on in many ways. More like GTA V is dying as the years tick on.

I actually have all of the old SAPDFR source code files from back in the old days and had a plan of recreating the whole project. I do not know if it will be called SAPDFR however since that domain is now owned by LCPDFR and I don't want to step on any toes here.

It's definitely a good idea.

People have exhausted almost everything LSPDFR has to offer and Red Dead doesn't really fit for a potential sequel.

The old SA state is a gold mine for police gameplay, you got a broad range of jurisdictions and environments at your disposal, plenty of cop assets such as interiors, weapons and vehicles. I can easily see myself patrolling SF or the desert, maybe crack down on Idlewood's crack dealers or rough up drunken LV tourists.

You also have Vice City, and man oh man don't we all wish to fulfill that old 80s Miami Vice fantasy.

Not a big fan of the 3D era LC but who knows man it might be fun to try police mechanics there.

 

Please do consider this, we long for a new police experience.
