Requirements
You must have version 0.63 (or newer) of RAGE Plugin Hook. You must have a fully legal, non-pirated version of GTA V.

 

Automatic Installation
- Extract the ZIP archive; ensure that setup.exe and Traffic Control.msi are both in the same folder
- DON'T run Traffic Control.msi unless you know what you're doing
- Run setup.exe, and ensure that the installation directory detected matches the main/root folder of your GTA V install directory
- If setup.exe is unable to detect your GTA V directory, or fails in some other fashion, start Traffic Control.msi, AND SELECT YOUR GTA V PATH AS THE INSTALL DIRECTORY

 

Manual Installation
- Copy the TrafficControl.dll and TrafficControl.ini files into the Plugins folder of your GTA V directory.
- Copy the Stealth.Common.dll and RAGENativeUI.dll files into your main/root GTA V directory.

 

Features
- Stop or slow down all traffic within a certain radius of the player, in order to close a road for investigative purposes, or for safety reasons during a traffic stop
- Multiple "roadblocks" or "speed zones" can be placed
- Roadblocks will remain in place until removed by the player
- A (beta) setting to allow any emergency vehicles to drive through "roadblocks"/"stop zones" can be enabled in the INI file ("Stop Traffic" orders only; speed restrictions are not affected)
- The above setting can also be changed on-demand through the new in-game menu
[NEW!] - Traffic Control now includes a new in-game menu, powered by RAGENativeUI!
[NEW!] - Keyboard shortcuts can now be changed in the INI file!
[NEW!] - Keyboard shortcuts can be disabled, if desired (to use the in-game menu exclusively)

[NEW!] - Integration with Police SmartRadio!

 

Usage
- Press the menu keybind (CTRL + F10 by default) to open the Traffic Control menu; use the menu options to place/remove roadblocks
- Alternatively, you can use the shortcut keys (see the INI file) to place/remove roadblocks
- Keyboard shortcuts can be disabled through the INI file, if you wish to only use the in-game menu

nice mod but when i stop traffic the suspect cant drive away from me cause he is stoped to and stuck in his car. lol. cant play with it cause i lost the feature that a suspect can escape from me.

Great mod! Love the ability to stop traffic and control their speed, especially when making a stop on the highway!

I have one issue, the plugin loads fine and LSPDFR works great. But once I hit Ctrl + I to slow down traffic it works for about 2 seconds then crashes LSPDFR.

Any suggestions on what could be causing this? The same thing happens with Ctrl + U.

so if the version of Stealth.Common.dll in this traffic control mod is 1.2.1.0? and the Stealth.Common.dll is updated to 1.5.1.0 for code 3 callouts mod now Version 6.0 (which includes the Stealth.Common.dll 1.5.1.0) but, Keep calm now Version 0.82 which is Stealth.Common.dll 1.4.1.0 ?, which should i use for all 3 plugins ??. i know that if RagenativeUI was different to a mod to another mod that would crash LCPDFR as well, is this the same case or do i just use latest Version for all 3 anyway ??

Use the newest version. It's compatible.

If there is ever a time where a new Common DLL is incompatible with older versions of my mods, I update them all.

Glad this still works, the LSPDFR close roads seems to do nothing

Amazing update! New in-game menu is fantastic! Great job,as always :)

EDIT: Just a question: when I use the menu to stop all traffic (except emergency units),other cars still enter in the yellow area (reaching often the middle) and then they stop due to the stop-command given by your mod. Is it a bug or not? Thank you :)

If they're going too fast, they probably can't stop in time.

Not just few cars,they tend to pile up in the yellow area. Anyway,thanks for the anwer! I'll try that feature more and I'll keep you updated :)

Yes, I am experiencing this issue too. I make a stop/end a chase/arrive on scene, whatever, and select close all roads, some traffic stops, some just turn up long after the road is closed and tries to push through causing untold problems and mess :D

Part of that is GTA V spawning vehicles really close to the roadblock when you look in that direction. Remember, those cars won't be set as persistent, so GTA is always despawning and respawning stuff around you.

not having trouble with traffic stopping but, when selecting remove all roadblocks, does not do anything. i have to keep pressing remove nearest RB. this is the in game munu

Would it be possible to add an option for the size of the blip to the menu? There are a lot of times where I want to make it smaller or larger depending on the situation. It would be awesome to do this on the fly.

Is is possible to change the default (CTRL + F10 by default) to just F10?

I tried. It don't work. Pressing F10 does nothing.

Since the last version most of the time I cannot remove road blocks. The yellow circle stays around and vehicles are still stopped no matter how hard I hit Ctrl+O or Ctrl+H. Removing the road block from the menu won't work either when that happens.

But I suspect that it comes from LSPDFR again as @Kal74 had noticed, I am getting more and more of these errors with the wrong path "E:\GTA V\LSPD First Response\LSPD First Response\Mod\...". I have at least one every 5 minutes.

But I suspect that it comes from LSPDFR again as @Kal74 had noticed, I am getting more and more of these errors with the wrong path "E:\GTA V\LSPD First Response\LSPD First Response\Mod\...". I have at least one every 5 minutes.

Have you tried to use the new [NEW!] - Traffic Control  Menu feature? It cuts out the need to use separate keybinds...

Yes I also tried the menu but that wouldn't remove the roadblock. If I set a new roadblock and removes it, I'll get the notification that "roadblock #2" was removed but I can't do anything with #1 that will stay (and stop traffic) for as long as I play.

The log that I have added was after a pursuit where I arrested the driver while other units took care of the passenger and I am pretty sure it was the same scenario when that happened before. I am wondering if for some reason the pick up unit wouldn't mess with the roadblock (I mean that I don't get the "specified Rage.Vehicle is invalid").

hmmm strange because it works for me. I even check the box to allow the pickup unit into the roadblock.... Well maybe Stealth22 will know why you are getting that error..

hey i can say, it's just not you. i get this issue a few times too. only way to remove it is to unload plugin and load allthings.dll and remove all blips

I'm not 100% sure why it's happening, but I'll check into it. If you know how to change the logging level to Very Verbose, it will give you more details on the error in the log. I've never changed the level myself, so I'm not sure how to do it. I checked in the RPH settings dialog and didn't find a setting for it. It probably involves a setting in the INI file.

oh I was trying to help someone else who is having issues.. Everything for me works a 100% .. I have no issues with Roadblock at all.. Sorry if my post looked misleading..

Not sure how to change the setting either, Google is not very helpful as it mostly returns a bunch of Verbose logs...

Actually it doesn't remove the road block. I know, I tried that. It will remove the blip on the map but vehicles going through will be either stopped or slowed depending on the block you have used. I had a pursuit coming to a stop till I realized it was the place I used a roadblock earlier :smile: Scratch that, I unloaded LSPDFR but Traffic Control is not a LSPDFR plugin, so that explains why the road block was still in effect.

yes i suppose. cant you unload traffic control though. it is a plugin. isnt it ?? .

Ive been getting so many crashes on lcpdfr. i think im getting to the point where im going to stop playing for the following reasons :sad:

  • tired of driving around
  • tired of crashes
  • want to add more police cars but unable too
  • police cars have issue where they act like they skid out of control and i crash into cars and people but bikes don't ?
