Traffic Control for GTA V

Any unauthorized modification, reverse engineering, or distribution (including re-uploading of any kind) is strictly prohibited.

Requirements
You must have version 0.63 (or newer) of RAGE Plugin Hook. You must have a fully legal, non-pirated version of GTA V.

Automatic Installation
- Extract the ZIP archive; ensure that setup.exe and Traffic Control.msi are both in the same folder
- DON'T run Traffic Control.msi unless you know what you're doing
- Run setup.exe, and ensure that the installation directory detected matches the main/root folder of your GTA V install directory
- If setup.exe is unable to detect your GTA V directory, or fails in some other fashion, start Traffic Control.msi, AND SELECT YOUR GTA V PATH AS THE INSTALL DIRECTORY

Manual Installation
- Copy the TrafficControl.dll and TrafficControl.ini files into the Plugins folder of your GTA V directory.
- Copy the Stealth.Common.dll and RAGENativeUI.dll files into your main/root GTA V directory.

Features
- Stop or slow down all traffic within a certain radius of the player, in order to close a road for investigative purposes, or for safety reasons during a traffic stop
- Multiple "roadblocks" or "speed zones" can be placed
- Roadblocks will remain in place until removed by the player
- A (beta) setting to allow any emergency vehicles to drive through "roadblocks"/"stop zones" can be enabled in the INI file ("Stop Traffic" orders only; speed restrictions are not affected)
- The above setting can also be changed on-demand through the new in-game menu
[NEW!] - Traffic Control now includes a new in-game menu, powered by RAGENativeUI!
[NEW!] - Keyboard shortcuts can now be changed in the INI file!
[NEW!] - Keyboard shortcuts can be disabled, if desired (to use the in-game menu exclusively)

[NEW!] - Integration with Police SmartRadio!

Usage
- Press the menu keybind (CTRL + F10 by default) to open the Traffic Control menu; use the menu options to place/remove roadblocks
- Alternatively, you can use the shortcut keys (see the INI file) to place/remove roadblocks
- Keyboard shortcuts can be disabled through the INI file, if you wish to only use the in-game menu

considering this hasnt been updated for a long time, I am not surprised that it may not work for everyone

That's unfortunate too, I've seen a few YouTubers using this script and it looked nice. Unfortunately, it doesn't work for me with default keys, even tried changing the keybinding and still no luck. I was coming here to see if anyone had advice, but it looks like I am not alone so I guess I'll have to find a different plugin to use.

Apologies for the inactivity lately. I am currently working on an ALPR+ update, after which point I will be taking a look at Traffic Control.

The RageNativeUI.dll it depends on is outdated. I'm using the latest version of RageNativeUI.dll to work properly with EUP Menu however using the latest version makes my game crash when it loads Traffic Control. Using the RageNativeUI.dll provided in the archive is outdated and does not work with EUP Menu.

It is most certainly not "dead".

The current version is working fine; I just haven't had time to look at making updates/new features.

And actually, there is a newer version available to beta testers, but I've had a lot on my plate lately, so it's been low on the priority list.

Ahhhh I love this mod. Wish it would be updated. Sometimes it works with no issues and a lot of the time it crashes. No crashes when it's not installed. I'll be watching for an update! Keep up the good work :D

If I may be so bold as to suggest rectangular traffic control zone options for the next update so that traffic on the other side of the freeway can still flow. For us CHP fellas.

I know, sadly on a highway with 70mph average speeds that small circle doesn't even register with most vehicles.

well, mainly because he's not paid to do any of this, he did it for the good of the community out of his own time and his free will. Mod has been out for 2 and half years. Priorities change. Life changes.

This mod still works for people having trouble when installing dnt install the ragehook native UI that comes with this mod its outdated keep thee current rageook native UI

Nothing happens after placing files in correct spots. I've even unblocked them and still nothing. CTRL+F10, nor F10 alone does anything. Any have any ideas?

Any chance you release the beta version for the public? I can't see meta information when it was last updated, but for me it's not working anymore either. My hope is that the latest beta does work. :)

I cant open the menu, I checked the ini file and no matter what controls I change it to, nothing works. However, it is loading on startup after getting into uniform. Please help!

are there any areas where AI just completely ignore you trying to stop traffic ?
seems like if i try to stop traffic at Great Ocean HWY / West Eclipse blvd intersection, they ignore all warning signs
and just pile-drive into one another. idk if im doing something wrong but the mod works well in other places such as

Senora fwy / East Joshua rd
