A modern, immersive police computer for LSPDFR with deep records-framework integration.

pdComp transforms police roleplay in GTA V with a fully interactive MDT/CAD system featuring a simulated police-computer desktop, draggable applications, persistent records, evidence-aware court systems, and integrated records support. It now works with either Policing Redefined (via CDF) or Stop The Ped as its records backend.

Built from the ground up for immersion, pdComp replaces outdated menu-driven police computers with a realistic in-game operating system complete with:

  • Rugged police laptop interface

  • Draggable and resizable windows

  • Desktop wallpaper and app icons

  • Window snapping

  • On-foot patrol tablet

  • ALPR/BOLO notifications

  • Standalone ALPR plate reader and speed radar

  • Persistent criminal justice records

  • Persistent dark mode

Deep Records-Framework Integration

A records integration is required — pdComp has no standalone vanilla mode. Choose your backend with `[Integration] Mode`:

When used with Policing Redefined + CDF, pdComp becomes part of a connected policing ecosystem:

  • Pulls synchronized suspect and vehicle records directly from PR

  • Supports evidence-linked arrest reports

  • Integrates with PR citation workflows

  • Tracks warrants, suspended licenses, insurance status, registrations, permits, and more

  • Uses tested evidence and relevance checks in court outcomes

When used with Stop The Ped, pdComp combines LSPDFR persona/vehicle data with STP's:

  • Added support for adding multiple counts of the same citation or arrest charge directly from the catalog.

  • Expanded the charge and citation database with dozens of new offenses, including Domestic Violence & Protective Orders, Public Order violations, Passenger Safety offenses, and more.

  • Reorganized Ped and Vehicle Lookup pages to make important information easier to spot at a glance. Ped profiles now clearly display status indicators such as Wanted, Alert, Review, or Clear, while vehicle profiles feature improved layouts with larger vehicle photos and more prominent owner information.

  • Ped Lookup now highlights important officer safety warnings and subject history directly within the profile, including violent history, protective orders, weapons involvement, narcotics activity, escape risk, and other caution indicators. Juvenile status is now a subject-type note.

  • Completely revamped the Settings page on both the laptop and tablet with search functionality, organized categories, and a cleaner overall layout.

  • Added a Settings/config option to disable the on-foot field tablet for players who only want pdComp to open from the patrol vehicle.

  • Expanded localization coverage so new Settings items, warning labels, charge/citation catalog text, and printed document surfaces can be translated from localization.json.

  • Improved the Tablet Ped Lookup history view with better formatting for long charges and citations, clearer row styling, and more reliable expand/collapse controls.

  • Improved startup reliability and compatibility checks, including better handling of Common Data Framework (CDF) availability and clearer guidance when required dependencies are missing.

  • Fixed an issue that could cause a crash when accessing the Traffic Control tab while the game was paused or when pdComp had input focus.

  • Improved internal cleanup and resource management for identity tracking, mugshots, ALPR/BOLO markers, tablet props, and citation handoff animations.

  • Fixed an issue where repeated arrest charges were not always being processed consistently during sentencing calculations.

    no, when you have the option unmarked to pause the game while pdcomp is open the game controllers still get trigger like pressing F while typing in the pdcomp gets the character out of the vehicle and stuff like that.

    It does not interfere with native LSPDFR keybinds. I know some users with an additional seatbelt plugin have reported that it still reads keybinds, but that is not something I can block as that plugin bypasses the game and reads the keyboard directly which is why I set the default as paused to prevent it. Users who don’t use that plugin can use PDcomp unpaused.

    I would love to see maybe a little more depth with arrest and citation reports. Have a section dedicated to vehicle information like plate, make, model,color,VIN and State. Same with suspect information (name, dob, ssn, age, race, sex). I know some people like real simple but I love when things are more in depth 😅

    Genuinely such a fantastic addon! This is so well developed and allows for so much more creativity and immersion. I am very impressed! The only thing I noticed I was wanting, was the ability to manually insert locations for things like arrest records and the other reports that don't let you. Absolutely worth a download & try

    There a problem with sentencing. An aggravated misdemeanor count as a felony conviction when court outcomes in.

    Make sure the weights and severity is set correctly in the charges file. The court simply reads those values. If something is named "aggravated misdemeanor" but the values are set to a felony level in the backend of the file, the court will read it as a felony

    Love this mod! Only one question I have is when I turn off ALPR, after a few minutes it will still tag vehicles and the sound notification. Had ALPR lite also but remove that last week! Just curious haha

    I agree, especially with the accident reports should be able to include multiple drivers/vehicles and also with incident reports should have suspect and victim info. Ive tried NexusMDT and its reports are more detailed however of the 2 I prefer pdcomp as it seems to function and run smoother. If the 2 devs would put their heads together they could combine and probably make one helluva MDT
