This mod allows the user to autonomously drive their emergency vehicle, from normal to Code driving. I designed this mod specifically for content creators so that they can less focused on the small task of cruising on patrol and more engaged with commentary and/or live stream interaction.

Brief Description of Driving Styles:

Normal - This is the typical driving style for AI traffic.
Aggressive - Drives more aggressively with overtaking vehicles and possibly ramming.
Urgent - Kind of a hybrid of Normal and Aggressive in that some vehicles will be overtaken.
Code 2 - Based upon the common driving behaviors of Code 2 driving across the United States.
Code 2 (California style) - A specific Code 2 driving as seen and experienced in California. Through my ride along experiences, officers can only use lights and sirens when authorized. So they typically only, and briefly, use lights and sirens to clear intersections/heavy traffic. They proceed by turning off lights/siren and drive urgently to the scene.
Code 3 - The obvious driving behaviors of Code 3 driving as seen across the United States.

Make sure to put AutoPatrol.dll and AutoPatrol.ini and AutoPatrol.pdb into \Plugins\LSPDFR folder.

Make sure to have the latest version of RageNativeUI installed.

Take a look at the INI at least once to make sure you are satisfied with the settings.

Disclaimer:

This mod only functions while driving an emergency vehicle.
To disable the autodriving, you may press and hold either the Accelerate, Brake, or Exit control buttons for one second.
For usage with ELS vehicles, you need to set ElsTrfCtrlOn = false in the ELS.ini

This plugin seems interesting. I find my self talking to my stream a lot and it is hard to focus on the road. Will give it a try!

That's exactly what I developed it for. I just need to get it properly working with ELS vehicles to have appropriate Code driving.

Plugin loads and works well, except when you try to disable it by hitting the gas, break, etc. Just continues. Have to open the menu and Terminate it before it actually stops autodriving. Any ideas?

EDIT:

Nevermind. Got it. Have to HOLD one of those keys down. Guess I need better reading glasses. Ugh... 40's.

I've found that this doesn't work with SUV vehicles like the sheriff SUV and PRANGER, however it works great with the other vehicles like the Charger

I believe I will just add support for all cars. The Code driving will work, but there will be no siren and cars won't move aside. I'm using GTA's native process of having cars move aside for sirens. I don't intend on making a custom process, as I intend for this mod to be lightweight. Nonetheless, expect an update with minor, useful tweaks.

Aber leider geht, wenn ich es ausschalten, ELS nicht mehr richtig. In Code 3 gehen die Fahrzeuge nicht mehr an die Seite.

All right written. The more complex the script, the higher the chance of failure. And as there is a necessary minimum for comfortable patrolling and for me personally it is enough.

(Ru: Всё верно написали. Чем сложнее скрипт, тем выше вероятность сбоя. А как есть необходимый минимум для комфортного патрулирования и лично для меня его достаточно.)

Please tell me what is the feature of Enable Playfun Siren and Auto-Disable When Busy?
I understand correctly: Auto-Disable When Busy - The autopilot will be automatically disabled if a serious violation is detected (an intruder in the form of a red dot on the minimap) or a chase is initiated.
Does the Enable Playfun Siren function just turn on the different siren sounds?

It will disable when you get into a callout/pursuit/pullover.

The playful siren will make the siren more random when clearing intersections. As of now, this only properly works when using a non-ELS vehicle.

I think it's a very good script. But it not work for me. I'm placed the .Ini and the .dll file in to > plugins > LSPDFR.

When i'm going on duty it notice me about all ok. when im get in a emergency vehicle and im try press G or LeftShift nothing happen,the ui not open. Please help,

Try to use the mod in the police2 vehicle model. And make sure you are pressing the ToggleMenu and ToggleMenuModifier keys.

Sorry, forgot to be clear.

For usage with ELS vehicles, you need to set ElsTrfCtrlOn = false in the ELS.ini

I absolutely love the idea. I've had a similar mod for a while, but it doesn't include a lot of the different driving scenarios, such as pursuit, etc. I have loved the idea of something like this while streaming patrols for the exact reasons you mention. Reading chat and driving never ends well haha. I will for sure try this one out! 🙂

Such a fun lil script. I started using it yesterday and it changed my gameplay. I now enjoy cruising with traffic while waiting for a call!! Awesome!!
