[ELS] Increased Environmental Lighting 1.1.3

(9 reviews)

1 Screenshot

This simple rework of the ELS.ini increases the environmental lighting reflection in-game. Not too bright, not too weak. It's my own personal twist on it.
This changes the values inside the ELS.ini (Configuration file) and is mainly for those who cannot figure out how to do it themselves or those who are lazy and just want to see improvements on the lighting reflection.

INSTALLATION:
1. Download ELS (If you haven't already)

2. Make sure you have latest scripthookv
3. Extract the file
4. Drag and drop my ELS.ini file in your directory, hit replace.

So what exactly did you change in the ini? your file has the exact same values as my original els.ini

It changes the lighting settings within the ELS.ini.

Make sure to download the latest file, I accidentally uploaded the stock one while I was changing a couple of files around. I've addressed the issue now and the custom one should be up any minute.

If it's on true, when you use your horn or siren vehicles will freak out and just keep driving until they crash. Setting it to false prevents that.

I'm not sure if it's only me. I'm using VisualV and after i applied this mod, I don't see any significant improvement on those coronas on the wall.

i dont know if its really brighter but it seems brighter by your corona settings, i had to reduce my visuals 100 night and 1000 day, it was a little bleeding after your setttings, before not. thats my impression. but i have reworked my emissive files + this settings, are more powerful for me.

The Increased Environmental lighting on this police vehicle pack is backwards, blue flashing lights are on the right side of the lightbar and red flashing lights are on the left, but the red lighting is on the right side and the blue lighting is on the left side. Is there a way to swap the lighting around so that they correspond with the lightbar?unknown.png?width=1442&height=541

That's an issue with the car's ELS file. All my file does is increasing the ELS values inside the .ini in order to get increased reflectance. Please make sure you installed the correct ELS file for that vehicle.
