Emergency Lighting System V brings one of the most popular modifications ever created for a GTA title (ELS-IV) to Grand Theft Auto V. ELS-V will add a whole new dimension to  your patrols. With a fresh look and many more features than its predecessor, it's also sure to brighten up your game and satisfy the emergency lighting enthusiast in anyone.

 

DESCRIPTION
− ELS provides an alternate and incredibly in-depth way of controlling emergency vehicle lights and sounds.
− ELS requires vehicle models specifically designed to make use of its features.
− ELS includes over 200 unique lighting patterns scattered across 4 light groups and lighting formats.

 

NOTES
− Please consult the ELS USER GUIDE and other provided documentation prior to using ELS.

− As of V1.00 ELS is not compatible with any form of multiplayer.
− A visual enhancement mod is recommended to improve the appearance of ELS lights in game.

 

BASIC INSTALLATION
− A GTAV ScriptHook must be installed for any .asi modification to work. The original may be found HERE.
− Using script modifications in GTA Online can result in a temporary or permanent ban from the service.
− 1. Place ELS.asi, ELS.ini, the ELS folder, and  AdvancedHookV.dll inside your main GTA V game directory.
− 2. Download and install (a) pro-ELS vehicle model(s).
− 3. Start your game.

 

CREDITS
− ELS is coded by Lt.Caine.

− AdvancedHookV and vehicle damage feature coded by LMS.
− ELS-V testing team (alphabetical order): Albo1125, BxBugs123, GravelRoadCop, PoliceWag, and Prophet.

What's New in Version 1.05

Released

  • Removed auto deletion of discarded ELS vehicles to prevent crashes when using certain LSPDFR plugins.
  • Removed ELS manipulation of AI vehicles as persistent/not persistent for same reason.
  • Removed strobe corona flash sounds (while retaining sound effects for halogen patterns).
  • Toggling the ELS information panel will now reload everything in the ELS.ini.
  • Fixed error in ELS User Guide that incorrectly associated SCNL with extra_11 and TKDL with extra_12 (the opposite is true).
  • Updated ELS User Guide to reflect new changes.
  • ELS.ini change: Added "AllowController" option to CONTROL section to allow enabling/disabling controller input for ELS.
  • ELS.ini change: Added "TogKeysLock" option to CONTROL section to allow changing ELS key lock button.

 

Please download the AdvancedHookV fix if you are using game build 3258.

Hey can anyone help me with the wigwags on the tails lights of the vehicles? I used to get them but now all of a sudden no wig wags on any emergency vehicle be it police1 or sheriff 2 or any vehicle. Any help would be appreciated.

    Iv'e installed this mod so many times and i can get my els cars to work and i need serious help in fixing this because iv'e tried so many time to fix this plz help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Hi! I have been having this problem for ahilw now... I do as the guide tells me, put all els files and els.asi and els.ini and advancedhookv to gta v directory then I have scripthookv and dinput8 installed. When I launch the game is looking normal but at the very end of the loading time it crashes. I been removing all els files and advancedhookv and it works completly but then els wont work. if i add them again it crashes then if I remove scripthookv and have all of the els files and advancedhookv installed it works but then els wont work.. SO the game is crashing when I have both scripthookv and advancedhookv installed in the directory. any help or suggestions??

    I can not seem to get this mod to work at all it even says this in the log.

    <FATAL> VCF container folder not found, ELS data irretrievable.
        Ensure proper folder name is specified @ 'VcfContainerFolder' in ELS.ini file.

    What are the LightFlashDelayMainLts and LightFlashDelayCoronas for? I have a feeling they are connected to the speed of the flash pattern, but wasn't sure. I looked through the comments, but didn't see any referencing these two settings.

    Yes, they are to do with the speed of the lights. The higher they are the faster they flash I believe.

    Having an issue where lights on the top of police vehicles don't flash, but the tail lights wig wag as usual. Anyone know?

    I'm not sure if this is posted anywhere,

    If a model is made for ELS, is the ELS txt file included required for the lights to turn on or could they could turn on by default w/o els?

     

    The reason I ask is because every car I have put in the game will not flash the lights except the tail lights.

    I have uninstalled the game and removed all lspdfr files and reinstalled everything in order and i still cant get this mod to work...when i enter the game, i can go to the police station and pick the cop uniform i want but when i get into the els car i want and hit Ctrl + P, the one menu doesnt pop up...PLEASE PLEASE would like any help

    I don't believe scripthookV is compatible with the current GTA version, so it wont work until it is updated. Keep checking HERE to see if it updates.

     

    P.S. I have not tried ELS on new update so what I said above may be false, but I am 99.9% sure it won't work.

    @Lt.Caine I love ELS. If it's somehow possible to add the option to where AI will control their sirens to like they turn the sirens off when on the scene but keep the lights going without sirens that would be amazing. I really hope ELS for GTA V is still being updated etc. Your mods are incredible.

    Wouldn't hold your breath for a reply, let alone an update, the last time he was on this website was June 6th, 2016.

    Great plugin, but I have a problem when I press scroll lock to use ELS it turns off my keyboard light and its hard to see my keys. Is there anyway around this?

    Edit ELS.ini and change the key binding for "TogKeysLock = **" to any key you want. 

     

    Click here for a list of valid key bindings.       Remember that ELS won't work on the latest version of GTA V (Doomsday Heist update) due to ScriptHookV not being updated, this can be also checked here.

    has anyone had issues when they use a fast flash pattern for primary lights - patterns between 12 - 24. The warning light pattern is is affected by flashing in different way.

    It's a shame that ELS is crashing GTA on loading now, only when I remove ELS file from the folder does the game load.

     

    I may have to revert to non-ELS vehicles for the time being :sad::sad:

    You sure its ELS i mean i've had some problems none ELS related since last update but my ELS has been working fine
