Siren Mastery is a script modification that allows you to master your siren tones. Toggle to your secondary siren at the press of a key/button, silence your siren using any key/button you like and even control exactly which 'secondary' siren plays! You can be up and running with Siren Mastery within 5 minutes (installation tutorial click HERE).

Requirements - some of these are included (credits go to their appropriate authors):

  • Albo1125.Common 6.6.4.0 or higher (included)
  • RAGEPluginHook 0.51 or higher (not included)
  • NAudio 1.8.0.0 (included)
  • A legal copy of GTA V (version 1.0.1011.1 or above).

There is also a download to free up unneeded controller bindings so they can be used for Siren Mastery. Get it here.

Summary of current features (please check documentation carefully too):

  • Change the Siren Toggle key/button and assign it an optional modifier key/button.
  • Change the 'lights only' toggle key/button and assign it an optional modifier key/button.
    • This works even if your siren is off so you can control whether your siren should play before turning your lights on.
  • New 'Toggle Secondary Siren' key/button with an optional modifier key/button.
    • This allows you to switch to secondary sirens without having to hold down a key/button.
  • New 'Toggle Bullhorn' key/button with an optional modifier key/button.
    • This allows you to keep sounding your bullhorn without having to hold down a key/button.
    • Works simultaneously with sirens.
  • New 'Next Siren' key/button that cycles to the next siren.
    • Can optionally include the Off state as a cycle stage.
  • Your siren now stays on when you leave your vehicle and you don't mute it.
    • This can be disabled from the GeneralConfig file.
  • Determine the siren tone that should be playing.
    • You are able to select which siren tone to play, including the ability to differentiate between secondary sirens.
  • Additional Siren Modes
    • Dual Siren Mode.
    • Manual Siren Mode.
  • Additional customisable sirens per vehicle model.
    • Allows you to have up to TEN total sirens per vehicle model.
  • Fully Functional and Customisable UI.
    • Feel free to create and release your own custom UI files.
    • The size and position of the UI can be customised via the UIConfig file.
  • Customisable Siren Switching Tones (like Siren Switch Honker).
  • Sirens are fully customisable per vehicle model via an XML file.
  • All keybindings are customisable and fully customisable controller support is included.
  • The vehicles.awc size and length limits are effectively removed while using Siren Mastery, allowing for greater siren variety.
  • British Users: You can now have British Siren Switch/Toggle sounds (in other words, horns!). Simply replace the relevant files in the Plugins/SirenMastery folder with the ones included in Siren Switch Honker's download.

I have an idea. I hate it when you in a pursuit and you get out of the car to chase the suspect and your siren turns off, it unrealistic! Is there a way that can come out in the next update, if it is possible to change?

Also, when I am on the police bike I want to use the police bike siren, but all it uses is the police primary ect how do I change that?

Hey Albo! I really want this mod but I was wondering about what it can do. More specifically, is there a way to set up SM so that it uses the default (J) key to turn on and off the tones, while at the same time using another key (k for example) to do the same function as holding down the horn (phaser/yelp) without having to set it up for each car?

Right now I'm using the horn key (I have it set to +) to initiate the phaser/yelp but I want to set up a key to toggle it, rather than having to hold it down. Can this mod assist me with that?

Also, the biggest thing for me is that it just changes the keys. The biggest complaint I hear about this mod is that it takes away the dynamic sounds.

I tried out the mod and attempted to get it where I wanted it. It's a great idea but not what I'm looking for. There's really only a few issues that, if are fixed, I would contemplate downloading once again

  1. There is no option (that I could find) to turn off the switching and toggle sounds. (I don't know if it's just my game, but every time I switch sirens it causes the sounds to skip)
  2. I really wish that it would only change the sirens if it finds custom settings in the .xml. If it can't find it, then it shouldn't switch them for me. I don't want to have to set up each emergency vehicle separately.
  3. The sounds should be dynamic like the vanilla sounds are

When I go into open iv and go into mods, I only have "x64e.rpf" not, "x64" so I cannot get into the audio folder. There is, however, a "x64" file located in my "updates" folder, but it does not contain the Audio folder. PLEASE HELP!

If you don't use a mods folder for whatever reason, the path is Grand Theft Auto V/X64/Audio/SFX/RESIDENT.rpf/vehicles.awc.

If this file does not exist for you your installation is corrupt.

Hello

anytime I try to launch Siren Mastery it gives me this error

ERROR: Could not load plugin from "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Grand Theft Auto V\Plugins\SirenMastery.dll". Could not load file or assembly 'SirenMastery, Version=1.3.4.2, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified.

Any Ideas on what it could be? I installed it according to the youtube video.  Thanks!

I have added custom sirens for the firetruck, here starts the problem. I watched your video and read the readme, so I edited the VehicleSirenSetup.xml. After loading the game I got the error which basicly said that I made a mistake while editing, at line 28 character number 3. I can't figure it out and might thought that you could take a look at it. Here's my VehicleSirenSetup.xml;
