I seem to have an issue that when I spawn in and start driving around, cars will despawn as I pass/approach them. Any suggestions?

Me too! I'm not quite sure the reason either.

I have not been able to reproduce that issue. Can you please check if this occurs: 

• With no mods installed at all (no SHV, no RPH, no LML, no OpenIV mods)
• With only LML + Gameconfig.xml installed (no LML packages enabled) 
• With no SHV but with all other mods

Are you using any addon mp vehicle mods such as WOV? It seems that it's only occuring with addon/mp vehicles such as those that come with WOV.

Addon vehicles, yes absolutely (although not in ambient traffic). Not sure what you mean by addon MP vehicle mods specifically though. I don't have WOV installed. Are you getting a specific crash?

I recorded my experience with traffic despawning in story mode: Cars Are Disappearing in Traffic... (Not LOD Related) - YouTube

RagePluginHook is not running (since it's story mode), so I think it has to do with ScriptHookV. Will try removing it and update.

Sorry, I meant using addon multiplayer (MP)/ GTAV online cars that will flow with the rest of AI traffic. I'm thinking its a mix of WoV and my trainer being out of date, as research on the simple trainer gta-5 mods page shows people w the same issue.

This is exactly what I'm experiencing! It seems like it must be from simple trainer (or whichever trainer you use) being outdated and for some unknown reason causing the spawn. I will say though, its damn annoying haha

There seems to be some issues with Simple Trainer and Menyoo, the comments for Simple Trainer point this out: Simple Trainer for GTA V - GTA5-Mods.com 

This may be why vehicles are despawning, outdated trainers.

Hmm, removing trainers did not fix the problem..

Damn. Do you have WoV installed? That'd be my next best guess. I'm wondering if it's maybe something with LSPDFR itself, but it sucks because I'm not seeing too many other posts about it..

What's WoV? I don't think I have that, but I've narrowed down the problem. It is within the mods folder, but it is not the dlc packs. My best guess after narrowing down the files is that the problem is inside the update.rpf file in update. What I've done is rename update to something else so it doesn't load in, and the problem is gone. I furthur narrowed this down by renaming dlcpacks with something else so it doesn't load in, and the problem presists. The only thing left is update.rpf. I will continue narrowing down and reach back. Too bad there aren't many other posts with this same issue.

It's World of Variety. The goal is to basically add in more diverse traffic sets by using online vehicles in the AI traffic. I too am troubleshooting going through and loading in without my certain folders. Let me know if you catch it, I'll do the same if I find it.

I may have found a solution. I went ahead and kept renaming each individual file in the update.rpf archive but it was taking too long. I took my update.rpf folder from my non-mods folder, and replaced it in the mods folder. It seems to have went ahead and stopped the issue from happening. The only downside is that you'll have to reinstall some mods (mostly visual stuff), and a new gameconfig.

*Make sure to back up the folder just in case!*

...you always need to start with a new fresh update.rpf after any game update.

Yeah I did that, and for whatever reason my first time around the issue persisted

I'm getting a black screen after the initial loading screen of the game.. 

Fresh install via LML config.

If I already added a gameconfig do I need to add it again?

Can we use a installed modified gameconfig that we have to use LML or do we have to install this one?
