WoutersCallouts 1.1

(36 reviews)

11 Screenshots

Since the release of LCPDFR v1.0 I have been experimenting with the new API. Since I am one of the (probably) many people who think LCPDFR would benefit from more callouts, I think the addition of the API is a major step and I believe we will see a lot more plugins with additional callouts, greatly increasing the variety of callouts in LCPDFR.

I should mention that this is a work-in-progress, and I think it will stay that way. There will always be new callouts to add and different scenarios or locations to be added.

Callouts in this plugin

  • Automatic Burglar Alarm
  • Assistance to LTA (Liberty City Transport Authority)
  • Fuel theft
  • Traffic collision involving pedestrian
  • Suspicious parked vehicle
  • Robbery in progress
  • Indecent exposure
  • Civilian attacked in building
  • Securicar robbery
  • Suicide attempt
  • Cardiac arrest

In future releases, I will keep adding new callouts and improve the current ones.

Installation instructions

To install the plugin, simply copy all the files in the .zip-archive to the "lcpdfr" (or "LCPDFR") folder in your GTA IV directory. If Windows asks if you want to overwrite files/merge folders, answer positively.

Notes

  • This plugin only works with the newest LCPDFR releases, which are 1.0a or newer, because it is dependent on the LCPDFR API.

What's New in Version 1.1

Released

  • Recompiled for LCPDFR 1.0c
  • Some changes in the used deployment technologies to help decrease the dll size and hopefully slightly increase performance and stability
  • Some under-the-hood changes for more reusable code
  • Added CardiacArrest callout

You unzip the folder and then copy the content of the folder to your main gta iv folder --> lcpdfr --> plugin

You should update it for LCPDFR 1.1. Getting a lot of crashes and I think it is because of the callouts that weren't updated with 1.1.

Does this work with LCPDFR 0.95?

Does this work with LCPDFR 0.95?

Nope because 0.95 does not have an API.

This is pretty stable, I've had it for a few months, the game does crash occasionally but my laptop is barely able to run the game anyway, let alone with all these mods... I know nothing about mod making, but I do know that this is a little more stable than some other callout mods... I downloaded one the other day that crashes my game every 5 minutes, just about... I won't say which one, because it's probably due to my machine, not his mod, but still. Great mod, and I look forward to all your updates! I hope it continues to work as well as it has! Thanks for your mod and the time you put into it.

What do you put in to force callout? I can't get the callouts to happen on their own.

Works almost fine on my  LCPDFR 1.1 but automatic burglar alarm and fuel theft seem to always crash.

I have callouts +, rush hour, wasteland, backup and wouters callouts.

Mod works great for 1.1, atleast for me. I guess everybody installed the wrong version? The motor vehicle accident is kinda buggy though, atleast in Bohan
