Now supporting unlimited liveries! An update to the popular Area Livery Mod, ALM 2.0 is a simple modification that allows you to match vehicle liveries to areas of Liberty City. Unlike ALM 1.0 and 1.1, ALM 2.0 allows for an unlimited number of liveries thanks to LMS' AdvancedHook.

NOTES

  • This script requires the .NET ScriptHook for GTA IV, please see: http://www.gtaforums...howtopic=392325
  • This script functions automatically and contains an .ini configuration file where numerous livery related settings can be customized.
  • Please read both readme.txt information files contained within the download archive for further information.

  • ALM is designed and coded by Sam.
  • Thanks to LMS for allowing us to use more than 4 liveries, and to NicolaiB who came up with the idea for ALM back in 2011.

IMPORTANT NOTICE ABOUT ADDITIONAL LIVERIES

  • Additional liveries (5 or more) can result in texture archive sizes that the game will not support.
  • Too many liveries or too big a texture archive can result in problems ranging from lag to fatal errors.

Please see the included readme for further information for vehicle/texture modification developers.

    Working with ELS?

    The unlimited liveries is in the advancedhook of 1.0c, but that can replace the older advancedhook in ELS V8. And it does work with ELS.

    I have been awaiting an update for ALM for a while. It appears that Dear Leader has provided. :p I have much work to do in customising this script to my needs. For clarification, I need to install any extra liveries into the vehicle wtd file, correct?

    Correct. Extra liveries follow the pattern you're used to; they're just called *whatever*_sign_*number*.

    Couldn't it also be used to replace the license plates in vehshare.wtd? Just create a bunch of duplicate texture files (the ones with the plates), attach "sign_1" to the end, and you should be able to have changing license plates.
