And they always end up in a pursuit? Have you tried reinstalling LCPDFR? (It's a longshot, I know).

It's to circumvent a less powerful computer, and maybe get the game up and running. You can create a txt file called “commandline.txt” (without quotes) in your main GTA IV installation directory and insert the following lines: -novblank -norestrictions -percentvidmem 100 -novsync -frameLimit 0 -nomemrestrict

Should be in a folder path that looks something like this: E:Program Files (x86)Rockstar GamesGrand Theft Auto IVlcpdfrLCPDFR User Documentation.pdf

It's a weird issue. You could try any of these fixes and hope for the best (http://superuser.com/questions/623001/windows-8-the-taskbars-chrome-wont-open-without-right-clicking-but-why).

Are you using any commandlines?

Keep in mind that LCPDFR 1.0 uses a ton more memory than 0.95RC2 did. Does this same issue happen when running no mods, except LCPDFR? It could be a conflict.

What's the exact process you do when initiating a traffic stop? I have no problems with them, and they work fine. Perhaps the LC drivers on your copy are having an exceedingly bad day? :p

What are your computer specs? Are you running the game as administrator? (Go to the GTA IV folder, right click on GTAIV.exe, Properties, Compatibility and select 'Run this program as administrator', do the same exact thing to the LaunchGTAIV.exe.) What other mods are you using? List them please. Also, which OS (operating system) are you using?

Have you read the user guide? They are for making aiming easier I believe, to make sure you are aiming at the right NPC.

That will not make a difference about the manual, it will still be in the GTA IV folder/LCPDFR. Or download it from this site.

Yep, that system is most likely not online as of yet.
