  1. I can detain people on foot if I remember correctly. I just leave them standing. Not 100% sure what you mean though.
  2. Does it work without the ENB?
  3. Please let us know if you get the barriers back, and how you did it.
  4. That's the worst logic I have ever heard. Let's say you released a texture 5 years ago. It's payware, and always will be. You are hosting it on your own site, which you pay for. But the texture is old, so I'll just download it for free from some other site that you do not own. You wouldn't care, right....?
  5. I didn't say you had graphic problems, but you have memory problems which that line will help improving.
  6. Try creating a file called commandline.txt in your GTA IV root directory and add the following contents: -novblank -norestrictions -percentvidmem 100 -novsync -frameLimit 0 -nomemrestrict
  7. Pretty much what drdetroit said.
  8. I'd say 2 hours is pretty good actually. I personally do not use ELS because of the constant crashes, I would suggest you do the same but I understand that you want to use it. Try using car models that aren't big in file-size.
  9. That could be it, but he/she said it had been working for several months + that he/she hadn't made any changes to the game.
  10. Are you the host, or are you joining a game?
  11. For me it's still pretty obvious that the entire Games for Windows live idea is getting shutdown, along with MP support and key activation for all games since they are, as far as I know, stored in the Games for Windows live store. I don't care about Xbox Live at all, I use it because I have to, not because I want to.
  12. Hopefully it will work, good luck! *crosses fingers*
  13. Just reinstalling the game won't remove any scripts. I suggest you follow this guide to make sure it is removed (http://www.lcpdfr.com/page/tutorials/index.action/_/script-data-file-modification-tutorials/how-to-uninstall-lcpdfr-r19).
  14. Should be under Keyboard and Mouse settings. You can bring that menu up by pressing 'esc' and navigate the upper bar.
  15. This^ The ELS siren will work on any car IIRC, but LCPDFR + the actual siren won't work (i.e people won't move out of the way).
  16. I'm not sure if I understand that question. Could you try to rephrase it?
  17. Could you take a screenshot of that? I think I know what you mean.
  18. Legal and up to date version of the game? Does it crash without the car mods? Are you running both exe's as administrator? Which ASI loader do you use?
  19. Did you use the manual or automatic installer? Which ASI loader are you using?
  20. Haha I bet you are. Feel free to ask if there's something else someday :)
  21. I don't think that would be the issue here. You can install it from here however (http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=35).
  22. Alright, let me know how it goes :)
  23. Hm strange. The most common reason for the game flashing and pausing briefly every time a key is pressed is a conflict between the game and the Windows Event Log. To disable the Windows Error Log service: Press the WindowsKey+R and type MSCONFIG into the bar. Open the utility, select 'Services' and then untick the 'Windows Event Log' entry. After clicking 'OK' you will be prompted to reboot so the changes can take effect. After a reboot please try the game again. It should now work.
  24. What was the most recent change you made to the game or system?
