  1. Disable world events. Read the readme to find out how to do this. It's a known bug when using unsupported third-party mods such as PoliceHelper. Keep in mind that LCPDFR is not supported with third-party mods.
  2. You have failed to install critical files. Download the manual installer, make sure you have read/write permissions on your GTA IV Root directory.
  3. All the above information can be found in the manual. You should read that one before posting a topic.
  4. Hello. Please provide more information. Legal copy of the game? Running the game as administrator? Latest patch? What other mods are you using? What operating system are you using (Windows XP is NOT supported)? Make sure that LCPDFR 0.95 is removed (http://www.lcpdfr.com/page/tutorials/index.action/_/script-data-file-modification-tutorials/how-to-uninstall-lcpdfr-r19). Please install these http://www.microsoft...s.aspx?id=30679 http://www.microsoft...s.aspx?id=30653 http://www.microsoft...ails.aspx?id=35 http://www.microsoft...ls.aspx?id=5549 (If you haven’t updated GFWL, use this). Running the game as administrator: Go to the GTA IV folder, right click on GTAIV.exe, Properties, Compatibility and select 'Run this program as administrator', do the same exact thing to the LaunchGTAIV.exe.
  5. Your car mods are probably the issue here. Does it work without them?
  6. What's so funny about that? Zero percent crashes is impossible.
  7. How do they get boring? I've been playing it like that for a very long time I still have loads of fun, I have almost zero crashes and no texture loss.
  8. I'm not using any mods. What's wrong with the default cars/peds etc?
  9. He didn't ask you to reinstall GTA IV, but LCPDFR. Use the manual installer and make sure you have Read/Write permissions on the GTA IV folder.

  11. It clearly says it is Steam. This is very true. I wouldn't replace cars like crazy, and to be perfectly honest, the default cars are just fine and fit right into the game without causing texture loss, crashes etc. It's your choice though to make the game less stable OP :P
  12. 1. The default ones are just fine :) 2. Doesn't sound very fun to me. And you're not the law, you're the police. You are supposed to uphold the law, not break it and create your own rules. 3. I'm glad you're not one for modding LCPDFR, as for me, the default cars etc are just fine. 4. I can agree with this, I enjoy posting screenshots I am happy with. 5. I can add to number 5: Immerse yourself into the gameplay of LCPDFR. Don't just sit at the wheels and respond to calls. Ditch the car. Take a walk. Respond to calls on foot, do a foot patrol, go and buy hamburgers and Burger Shot etc.

  14. Took the liberty of featuring it on the Facebook page because of pure awesomeness. Was a while ago I saw this. Nice work.
  15. No you. Run it in advanced mode, make sure you are running it as administrator and that you have Read/Write permissions on the GTA IV folder. Also, there will still be more than 10 cops if you set it to that, they may have been spawned by the game itself, or another callout.
  16. No. Read the manual.
  17. Yep, so it seems. What are your computer specs? :)
  18. Did you save a modded car in your parking spot? Did you save while on-duty?
