PAWN is a bastardisation of C/C++ that compiles into it's own bytecode, is run in it's own virtual machine and is used only by one notable program in existence. Visual Basic and C++ are two entirely different things. Before starting, you may want to research both object oriented coding and C++ in-depth, and make a small program in both languages before jumping into GTA programming. Look at current examples and play around with them.

It's not a bug, it's just a GTA thing. We could NOP the wanted levels entirely but it's not really a significant bug enough to bother.

Needs to be 'PoliceBG' without .JPG/.PNG file extension.

Copy a background (can be PNG/JPG) and rename it PoliceBG (without file extension). Then place it in /Scripts/LCPDFR/ inside your GTA directory.

Not possible as we only have the memory offsets and locations calculated for the latest GTA 4 + EFLC versions. Use the latest version, and if you can't, you can't use the latest LCPDFR. It's that simple.

Nothing at all even remotely to do with the DDoS. It's only been going on for 2 days. Maybe a firewall on your end. The system is, however, down right now. It will be fixed in due course.

Unfortunately an "external server hard drive thingy" doesn't protect much from a 500Mbit UDP DDoS.

LCPDFR uses C++, along with Managed .NET code. Sam doesn't like C++, just a personal preference. It's really an age long argument. I'm personally fine with C++, but it has it's purpose. For me, that's advanced coding (like Windows hooking or memory editing). I like to have everything else managed and to not worry about buffer overflows or memory leaks.

CloudFlare is a service which provides DDoS protection. The reason LCPDFR is using it is because we've been under DDoS attack.

It's down and it's been down for a day or two. They have a message on their Facebook about it. They're having the same issues we're having.

Why is your LaunchGTAIV.exe launching as a console? As far as I know that means it's pirated. LCPDFR does not support pirated games.
