  1. I'm using Windows 10 Build 10135 and it works fine with GTA V.
  2. It can't be easily enforced - at least not through software. There's so many ways of getting past word filters. (have a look at club penguin trolling videos for some great examples)
  3. IV is a horrible pile of crap, at least from a stability perspective. Lots of new modding possibilities with V. With LSPDFR releasing very soon, I would personally go with V.
  4. None of the released scripthooks even work online! By using these modifications online, you'd need to use a modified version of the scripthooks. Entirely your fault if you get banned.
  5. I think all of the web development team use Chrome, and none of us have experienced any issues. Check Chrome is up to date, try disabling addons, etc.
  6. Follow the instructions please.
  7. Hello there -- welcome to LCPDFR.com and thanks for trying out LCPDFR! Please do the following: Make sure you aren't using a crack - We don't support cracks or people using pirated softwareUpdate GTA IV to 1.0.7.0 (the latest version of the game, or 1.1.2.0 for EFLC) - These patches are needed. Make sure that you run the game as an administrator.Make sure that your GTA IV root folder (and every subdirectory) is not set to "read-only"Ensure that ScriptHook.dll, ScriptHookDotNet.asi and Dsound.dll OR Xlive.dll are in the GTA IV ROOT folderEnsure that there is a folder titled 'LCPDFR' in the ROOT GTA IV folder.Check that all the above files exist, if they do not, reinstall LCPDFR with the MANUAL installation.Ensure that you are using up to date versions of every LCPDFR dependency and LCPDFR itself.Install these: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=30653 , https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=30679 In some cases, your issue is resolved after following the above steps. If it did help, please let everyone know in the topic that your issue is resolved. If you do have to post a topic, do the following; Give a clear, detailed description of the problem.Explain any circumstances surrounding the problem.State what solutions you have tried.Post ALL relevant logs (LCPDFR.log, Scripthook.log, ScriptHookDotNet.log, AdvancedHook.log).Include as much information as possible.Post your system specifications.Post what other mods you are using. This includes car and script mods. Please note that failure to follow these instructions may cause this thread to be closed.
  8. There was no hard limit of 1MB, this was due to a bug. This should now be fixed.
  9. If you edit your profile, you can edit the following field: Your member title is shown below your name. If you leave it blank, it'll show an automatically generated title from your rank (which is determined from the amount of posts you have).
  10. Noted; will be fixed when there is time.
  11. Remove everything except 'LCPDFR Loader.net.dll' from your scripts folder. :/
  12. No, we'd keep the entire site on either domain. We don't want to fragment it off into two parts.
  13. No plans at this time. Although it's always an option we have.
  14. You couldn't find anything anywhere? How about the header on every page indicating that a trailer is coming today, the LSPDFR tab at the top, the fact there's a dedicated LSPD First Response forum, the fact that there's something on the sidebar on the board index and all over our social media pages?
  15. TeamSpeak is currently not officially supported until we bring the intergration with the website back online. Moderators with permission will move users they see in the welcome lobby, however.
  16. Someone else had this issue a while back, was something to do with their firewall/antivirus scanning SSL connections. CloudFlare and Antivirus don't really play well with each other. But we don't really use SSL anymore. Removing the S from 'https' would solve it.
  17. This topic has been moved to the appropriate forum. Please post in the correct location in the future.
  18. The new site is very JavaScript intensive, so if you have a low-end computer, use Internet Explorer, or use a lot of plugins (adblocking plugins are a major culprit, if you're going to adblock at least use something like uBlock) these can all have a factor loading the site. Connection speed, should frankly, not be an issue (except perhaps on first load pre-caching). Our main web frontend server is in North America, so latency shouldn't be an issue for 90% of our userbase. When I was in Japan last month, I had no issues loading pages and the site loaded continuously in under a second - mostly because we tell your browser to cache all of JavaScript, CSS and images for least 6 hours. Forum support for something like speed issues is frankly, pissing in the wind, as there are numerous issues which could be causing it. It could be a problem with the speed between your ISP and ours, it could be an issue with one of your addons, your firewall or antivirus could be interfering, another application could be interfering, your router could be interfering, our security systems could be interfering and I could go on and on. If you'd like to investigate this further, feel free to send us a ticket for support.
  19. If you encounter such an error, simply try again later. It's probably temporary.
  20. We no longer issue keys on the site, the only way to link your account is through the diagnostics/configuration tool.
  21. If you use your existing one, you can import your current progress to the PC. If you don't, your installation will not be linked and therefore you can't. Up to you either way.
  22. There is no legal way you can do it without the source code, no. You could try contacting the author for the code, but chances are they wouldn't share it.
  23. Reviews and comments which abide by our Community Guidelines simply won't be removed. We know that users can review or comment on files for entirely the wrong reasons, but unfortuantly this is something which can't be solved easily without making reviewing more difficult (something we don't want to do). Regarding adding a reply to reviews left, I do agree that this is an important feature we'll need to add. I don't think this is something IPS will ever be interested in implementing, so I'll add this to the list of things to do. We tried that before for the clan system, we gave users the ability to moderate comments on their own groups, and it ended in disaster. We won't be repeating that mistake anytime soon.
  24. None of us are American, so the chances we'd coincide the release with a US holiday are minimal to nil.
