  1. A simple web search will tell you how to disable this...
  2. Yes, we use Memcached, and a custom build of nginx for our frontend server. None of the issues are related to load.
  3. Thank you for your feedback!
  4. Well, there's no higher than usual load on our download servers, neither has there been in the last 48 hours -- there is more than enough capacity available. I'm guessing there is a mixture of problems adding up. As far as I can see, it's mostly non-US traffic which is having difficulties. We are planning on adding another download server in Europe, so this probably will bring those plans forward.
  5. I can't replicate this on my end. This topic has been moved to the appropriate forum. Please post in the correct location in the future.
  6. Your topic has been moved to LCPDFR Support Requests. Please post in the correct location in the future.
  7. Manual adjustment of automatic downloads is mostly done. There will be another period of manual adjustment later in the week. Some downloads were effected more than others. Although most downloads only adjusted by a very small factor, some downloads were adjusted by 1,000 or more, and we're talking about files which only had 3,000 or 4,000 downloads to begin with. Suspicious.
  8. We probably won't be changing the top downloads module that much, however we will soon get rid of LSPDFR & LCPDFR from the listing. As you say, it's kind of pointless having those there when a great portion of our traffic is looking for those modifications anyway. I agree with you on the what's new module on the downloads homepage and we'll certainly present more of them in the future. There is no algorithmic mechanism to filter out things which people percieve as low 'quality'. Regarding the featured downloads module, there are a few issues with that, as it is entirely custom. We'll have a look at that when we have time.
  9. Screenshots of restricted areas of the site is not something we'll exactly give out. That being said, CSS is client-side, so it's not exactly something which is too difficult to find out using inspect element in Chrome.
  10. Post in the support forums.
  11. Probably whatever online engine we eventually choose to support.
  12. This topic is not for discussing the GTA V title update. Further posts talking about the GTA V title update willl be removed. Please see the numerous other topics on this subject.
  13. What the hell are you talking about? Of course an update is going to disable modifications, duh. The whole executable changes (usually) and therefore memory hooks will stop working until they are updated. As far as I can tell, the debug/junk code that was introduced in the last update has been removed in this update, which will actually help the modding community. The natives have also remained the same. It shouldn't be too long until we see the ScriptHooks updated for the new binary.
  14. What payment options are you thinking of? I'm unsure of the options available in Brazil.
  15. I don't think this is possible, no. That being said, you have full access to the Rage Plugin Hook as an LSPDFR plugin, so there shouldn't be much need to.
  16. Contact Google, we do not run nor provide Google's services.
  17. Looks like that page doesn't exist anymore. LCPDFR does, however, ship with user documentation, which is many pages long..
  18. We've now fixed this. That no longer works as we've beafed up defenses against automatic downloading.
  19. You'll have to wait for us to fix that.
  20. We have introduced a CAPTCHA for downloads. This affects all users and every single download. We will adjust this at a later stage to be like our old system (exempt certain members based on post history, IP address, etc). This is mostly due to a particular recent case of automated programs repeatedly downloading certain files. We are not sure of the intention, although we presume to waste bandwidth and increase our costs. Certain files may also be seeing inflated download counts -- we will be running a script further on in the week to remove all automated activity from the inflated counts we suspect to be illegitimate.
  21. We have no interest in console modifications. I should also note that there's nothing stopping this from happening from someone other than us -- on hacked consoles, custom GTA V scripts can already be run.
  22. It may become something that needs to happen in the future, with constant more strain put on our servers and increasing amounts of users using Adblock. However, there are no plans in the near future for this. If you want to help us out, donate, buy a shirt or disable your adblocker.
  23. Script & Data Modifications is most appropriate, with filtering options to show API mods only, same as we did for LCPDFR.
  24. Your topic has been moved to LCPDFR Support Requests. Please post in the correct location in the future.
  25. That's something that donations were used for in the past, as FCRP always operated at a loss. :)
