I think it's something to do with full page caching, I think in IPS' infinite wisdom it's actually caching the page in the first language it sees, then showing that for all languages; when it really should only be caching pages per language. Yawn, yet another bug to file on their tracker.

Frankly shocked this hasn't happened sooner. Perhaps for now, only download mods from reputable sources and authors. We'll be stepping up security on LCPDFR.com, including a full re-scan of our entire file database and a resumption of showing anti-virus scan results next to all files.

Doesn't make any difference. I would recommend Steam for convinence, though.

The Support Dashboard was a feature unique to our forum and was custom implemented. ​The problem we have with IPS4 is that custom report statuses are not supported, there's only the ability to mark a report as New, In Progress or Complete. This limits the information we can show on the Support Dashboard drastically. It is in progress, but it may not appear for some time, as we have to work on a way to add resolutions to individual reports and then re-implement the dashboard for IPS4.

I can't replicate the site acting slowly right now. It could be an issue between your ISP and our ISP, or you were accessing the site during busy times.

Yes. Since you cannot downgrade from Windows 8.1 to Windows 7, you'd have to reinstall everything.

Run the launcher as administrator

​I'd argue that IV provides a much better stable base to go on - especially for a beginner.
