Time for some new featured images?
We'll probably be getting rid of it entirely - might replace it with something more community-orientated like 'Most Liked' or something. It's not something we entirely have time to keep updated.

403 Forbidden everytime I download something
The new CDN system is very strict on making sure the IP address of who completed the CAPTCHA matches who is downloading. I'm assuming for some reason your IP address is different between insecure and secure requests. I think I think a potential workaround for this and will let you know when we make it available.

2019... a year of speed
Hi all, It's a bit late to say it, but happy 2019 to everyone and we hope you all have a great year! Over the years, we've certainly gotten a little flack for the speed of our downloads, and for varying reasons, our optimizations over the years have not been enough for everyone. This hasn't went unnoticed, and this year one of our main priorities will be speeding up the site and downloads. We're starting 2019 strong, and we've introduced some measures already that will speed the site up for everyone: All core site resources are now served through our new global CDN system. All downloads are now served through our new global CDN system. Our edge servers have been updated to support the latest web standards, including but not limited to HTTP2 and Brotli. Core site resources are now optimized on the fly, and targetted for your browser. For example, if you're running Google Chrome, images and other site resources will be sent via the bandwidth-reducing WEBP format. This is just the first step. There's still work ahead of us and room for improvement. Later this year, we're also expecting updates from our forum software provider that are focussed on speed. We hope these changes and the future changes to come will help improve the experience for everyone. Cyan

Clarification: What to choose for 'Script/Plugin type'
Hi developers, I've had to fix a few files which had wrong information under 'Script/Plugin type' over the years (mostly people making standalone plugins who have marked their plugin as an LSPDFR one). I thought since we haven't made it clear, I'd post a topic here clarifying what these options mean, and when to use each one. This post will also be linked at the field description. 'LSPDFR callout(s)' - Your RAGEPluginHook plugin adds one or more callouts to LSPDFR via the API. 'LSPDFR plugin' - Your RAGEPluginHook plugin is loaded by LSPDFR or RAGEPluginHook, and talks to LSPDFR via the API. 'Standalone plugin' - Any plugin or script which does not depend on LSPDFR, and can operate without it. Any plugin which does not use the API, or optionally uses the API when LSPDFR is installed. Of course, your plugin/script can be a mix of the above. As a result you can choose multiple options by holding the SHIFT key. Thanks, Cyan

Change the "security challenge"
We are working on reducing the interval on how much you see the CAPTCHA. After this is done, most users won't even see a CAPTCHA because they will not trigger the security thershold required. But some of the website time has been diverted on getting some features for 0.4 out of the door, so work on this is currently paused.

Panopticon Error Report | Trying to sign up
The error generally means that you aren't eligble for an account at that particular point in time. Usually this is because you already have an account, or you are trying to register from a blacklisted network/IP range.

Add Poly Count to Vehicle Models Filters
That's a really nice idea, but unfortunately it is dependant as well on our community tagging system which isn't ready yet -- as there will be a large number that don't end up getting updating by their authors.

any admints active here.
We're experiencing issues with our download system right now due to excess load. Please try again later.

Unable to update my file
First, have to apologize this took me a while to identify. Christmas/New Year was a bit long for me! I've fixed this issue, updating files >200MB should now work.

Ads. Can’t even browse site
I will raise this with our ad partners. Thanks for your report.

Change the "security challenge"
As I said, it's not there for no reason. It's there because we cannot tolerate automatic downloads to deliberately abuse our resources and raise costs.

Change the "security challenge"
Here's what I've previously said about it. Ultimately the CAPTCHA is there for a reason, not because we want it for the hell of it. Thank you for letting us know about the autocorrect issue, this is something that I think we can turn off on our end. However, we are working on reducing the chance a normal user will see a CAPTCHA -- aiming to only show the challenge when we detect something unusual.

not able to download anything
There was a temporary ~10 minute outage of our download infrastructure when you posted this. This issue should be resolved.

update to vehicle download section
Adding further filters is on our roadmap -- the blocking aspect is our community tagging system which isn't ready yet. Most authors won't update their old files, so a community tagging system for introducing new filters is essential.

Slow Download
We've definitely been a little bit unprepared for the holiday download volume at peak times -- this is something we are working on.

LSPDFR download file marked as malicious
Hello, it says why on the attached image and on the file page itself. Ultimately it comes down to trust, you can choose to, or not to, run our mod.

Lcpdfr for ps4 and xbox
Won't happen -- sorry! Mostly because the policies of the Xbox/PS ecosystem do not support mods without the game developer (Rockstar) having implemented them in someway. The other reason is that we don't have too much of an interest for consoles -- our PCs do a much better job in this regard!

[WIP] [TESTERS NEEDED] RagePadder - Assign Keyboard Keys to the Controller!
There are no Xbox One S mods for GTA.

Website Feature Idea
The first part of your idea (lists) is very similar to a bookmarks/list system I'm working on behind the scenes. However, I've previously considered the second part of your idea (downloading an entire list at once) and I ruled it out as unviable, mostly because two of the approaches I considered around the implementation of the idea both have flaws. The first method would be zipping/raring up a mix of mods on the server-side, and pushing the single file out. This would wreck our caching and optimisation -- unless people commonly requested the same bundle. The second method would be us pushing out an application that would create the bundle on the users' side. There are a few problems with this but it mostly boils down to most users wouldn't trust running an .exe for this every time. So yes, we are working on something that would allow you to add your favourite mods to a list (or many lists) and even share these lists publicly, but we aren't really considering the second part of downloading an entire list at once.
