  1. Your first is valid, and something I've already acknowledged in my first post. Of course there is no moderation controlling who can download files, it would be completely ineffective on a public mod site. I think maybe some people don't want their mods public. That's fine, but LCPDFR.com isn't the place for private mods. For your last point, if it wasn't leaked and stolen, there would be very little we can do outside of legal means.
  2. It isn't the nature of our site -- our site is public and open to all, regardless of anything. I mean there would be very little we could do about it if it wasn't posted on LCPDFR.com....
  3. To add to what I said above, if somebody steals your work in some way, and re-uploads to LCPDFR.com that's something that we have full control over, and can completely own the situation. If someone downloads your files from LCPDFR.com, does whatever they do, and re-uploads it some Discord community or another site, what do you expect us to do? Anyone who has ran a community knows that banning is fairly ineffective for a persistent enemy, and even if we did ban someone for doing that, they could just change their IP and download it anonymously.
  4. Our website is a website where anyone (account or not) can download files. What they do with those files after is completely out of our control. If you do want your files to be locked to a certain community, that's on you. But on LCPDFR.com, anyone can download files.
  5. We don't deal with activities outside our site, it really does come down to that. There is no effective way we can police activity outside of it, as much as we'd want to. The only site I can think of that does punish users for actions that they perform outside of the website is Twitter, which gets constant issues with people claiming overzealous moderation. It is regrettable that one of our moderators expressed their own personal views on the matter, we don't advocate this position and will discuss this internally. We'll leave this thread open if you seriously want a discussion. If this ends up just a fest of name calling, and spamming website addresses, it will be closed per our site rules.

  7. Your log indicates Police Smart Radio is crashing LSPDFR.

  9. See under Character System here
  10. Any change which goes through the upload a new version flow will trigger a security process. Changes via edit details won't. Unfortunately the only way right now of changing screenshots is via the former flow. This might be something we can improve on in the future.
  11. It's regrettable that you are 'out'. However, LSPDFR as of right now is an offline modification. Thanks for your suggestion, though.
  12. From your log file, LSPDFR isn't even getting to a stage where it's loading. This is probably an issue with your installation or other (non LSPDFR) mods.
  13. I'm not seeing any characters under your account. See for details on adding your character.
  14. Scripthook V is not needed or used for LSPDFR, and shouldn't be needed for any actual LSPDFR plugins.
  15. We would, but it works perfectly fine in the browser on both of those platforms. We'll focus on making it even better for mobile platforms, but we most likely won't be making a native app. There's nothing really we could do with a native app for the companion that we can't in the browser.

  19. Just to add -- that warning should be caught by the mod and shouldn't affect play. 0.3 should still work normally.
  20. If a plugin has its own way of doing it and bypasses the LSPDFR behaviour it will not show up on Sync.
  21. The license you agreed upon when downloading shows you what data we track. If you haven't explictly logged into Sync from the Pause Menu, we don't collect detailed usage information right now but may collect further telemetry data in the future to give us an indication of what to work on and what issues users' are having. All data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
