  1. Why not for something completely different, have it set in San Francisco (and surrounding areas) in the 1970s? Feelin' lucky, punk?
  2. Thank you! :) Kyoto is absolutely beautiful. The traditional buildings mixed in with the multitude of temples and shrines is fantastic. I was lucky enough to experience the autumn colours as winter in Japan was running late this year. I'm sure it'd look gorgeous in spring with all the cherry blossoms. Maybe one day. A few more pictures, including a ryokan (a traditional Japanese wooden house) where I stayed in Kyoto. Futons are not comfortable to sleep on.
  3. Sure. I'll charge you double what I paid for it, plus shipping on top! :D I ended up with 12 figurines (3 nendoroids, 9 regular figures) and 7 or so anime T-Shirts. Plus a poster of my favourite anime show. They're all girls by the way. I checked.
  4. As I'm sure some of you know, I just got back from my 14 day trip to Japan and China. I figured some people may be interested in what I got up to so I created this thread to share some of the images I took during the trip. China Hong Kong - Before actually reaching Japan, I had a three day lay over in Hong Kong. Japan Shinjuku - This is where we stayed for most of the trip. Tokyo is huge. Harujuku - The trendy area of Tokyo where all the teenagers hang out, nestled in with some temples. Akihabara - Affectionately known as Akiba or Electric Town, this is what otaku's have wet dreams about. Understandably this was my favourite place in Tokyo. Mt Fuji - A picture I took of Mt Fuji on-board the Nozomi Super Express. I really like this photo, I think the poll in the foreground really gives an essence of speed. The Nozomi does operate at 300 KMH (186 MPH) afterall. Iconography wanted me to take a video of the Nozomi, so here she is. Kyoto - Kyoto is quite possibly the prettiest city I have ever been to. The autumn colours look fantastic. Japan was a lot of fun and looking back, I wish I had taken more photographs. Oh... also...
  5. You can make your own DLC files, I've seen numerous people do it. Check out this tutorial: http://gtaforums.com/topic/816823-adding-cars-with-dlc-pack-working-template/
  6. I drink coffee sometimes but I have to put milk and a whole load of sugar in it to make it drinkable. Usually I'll just drink tea instead, it tastes better and doesn't make me as tired (yes, coffee makes me tired, weird huh?).

  9. ...care to give us some examples as to what exactly you need help with? Saying you need help and then not telling us what it is you need help with will get you nowhere.
  10. I have no idea, but it shouldn't matter provided you've set the materials up correctly.
  11. Your materials aren't set up correctly. See this: http://www.lcpdfr.com/tutorials/index.action/texturing-tips-and-tutorials/gta-iv-material-types-and-setup-r103/

  13. That's enough. Our forums aren't for abusing each-other, if you have an issue with one another please resolve it via private message. I'm closing this thread. If you feel this topic has been closed in error, please report this post.
  14. I hate the new Tahoe, but those skins are really pretty.
  15. Sounds pretty good, I love the LTS siren. It's so hard to find samples of it though.
  16. Can we please get an in-game example as to what it sounds like?
  17. Yeah, unfortunately editing the textures can only change so much. It's always a pain when you have a design in mind but you're unable to complete it due to the way the model is mapped. Glad to be of assistance though. :)
  18. OpenIV? You'll get used to it soon. It's so much better than SparkIV once you get the hang of it.
  19. I don't believe SparkIV actually displays the model in it's viewer for whatever reason, so use OpenIV instead.
  20. It depends how the model author has the lightbar set-up, your best bet is simply to try out the textures using OpenIV's model viewer and edit them from there.
