  1. You're most likely not running the game as Administrator. Make sure you Run As -> Administrator, alternatively if you disabled DEP you will need to restart for it to take full effect.
  2. I'm guessing it's one of two things 1) His keybind for getting into vehicles must be the same as 'calling down a cab' 2) He's having the same bug I've had in general without even LCPD, where sometimes when you go to 'enter' a vehicle, even if you're standing right next to the driver side door, your guy will still run off and try to get in the next nearest vehicle for no obvious reason (which I've had issues with since the original 1.0.0, I think it's just a random engine bug o.O) As for the cops, cops are pretty brutal in GTA in general, lol, not sure if that's something LCPD can override, but it would be nice to see more 'passive' officers who rather than instantly shooting at fleeing suspects (whether on foot or in a vehicle) will actually try to detain them (like the cops in the native 'random' foot chases do).
  3. Neg :/ They've said they have 'no plans' to do that either. Chances are, if ever, Fable II will come out in the next couple years for PC once they're finished milking it with XBox, then several years after that Fable III will hit PC's after the same. Tis disappointing, but the Fable series is really the only game I would -probably- buy an XBox for, lol.
  4. On a super duper late note, nothing happened to it, there was never announced that there would be one. MS flat out said at the announcement of Fable II period that they were planning on being XBox only sadly, and still haven't changed that since (They're just trying to milk XBox sales I think :/)
  5. You did not copy -all- the files at some point I would say, as you're missing the ScriptHookDotNet.asi I believe based on that message there, it should look something like;

I wouldn't mind seeing this, though some how I imagine this is most likely already on their to-do some day, but it would be pretty complicated so it might be awhile.
  7. Like purposely? There's no real way to do one natively, but you can 'trigger' one eventually if you keep hitting shift behind a vehicle to pull it over. First hit of shift initiates the pullover, second cancels it, keep doing it like that and eventually the 'Flee' random trigger will happen.
  8. The HDD type shouldn't matter at all for any application/game. And yes F8 in the latest is the callout's toggle I believe the changelog said.
  9. Mage: As to what I recall this is primarily caused by 'ELS' style cars, or cars that are more or less higher 'quality' (I guess to put it loosly) and thus use more resources, all the taxi spawns are GTA's way of basically going "Holy Poly Parts Batman" and overloading from it, lol. Short story; LCPD:FR has nothing to do with it.
  10. Nothing wrong with being picky, I'm OCD so I like accuracy amongst things, and admittedly I find many of the vehicle textures look like something a 15 year old in a garage might have spray painted quick, lol Unfortunately they also happen to be often on vehicles that have decent lightbars and such, so I mod-job.
  11. See what I've taken up doing is 'merging' mods, if you have a good Image editing program (Photoshop, GIMP, etc), take some of the LAPD 'textures' that are good, and merge them onto bodies of similar vehicle mods that have the decent ELS based LED lightbars.
  12. I usually -avoid- steam if possible, I mean I don't hate it, but steam can be buggy sometimes, not to mention games have issues with mods when they're steam-installed, and then of course there's the case where most games require steam running in the background while the application runs, which I dun like, it's an unnecessary process.
  13. I usually get my patches from Here for various games, as I'm an offline patcher kinda guy (hate those stinkin launchers that download patches themselves)
  14. Just for the sake of everything holy, make sure you have EFLC at 1.1.2.0, lol.
  15. Crap, lol, I'm a right-side keyboard gamer, I use the numpad keys for things like weapons and some of the FR audibles/random things. I shall try that anyways though, I'd rather do it by menu just to toggle engines on/off randomly (I wouldn't do it that often anyways)
  16. Disable how though? I didn't spot anything that said it in the version I got, lol Guess I'll have to glance again, though even if you disable the hotkeys, then how to do you use it? Don't the 'interactive' menu popups all work on the hotkeys too? o.O Man this is why I avoid trainers like this >.>
  17. Please make sure you read This topic fully. Chances are you did not copy/overwrite some of the necessary files, or perhaps you don't have a good version of the game installed (GTA IV you should have patched to at least 1.0.6.0 or 1.0.7.0, ELFC needs to be at least 1.1.2.0) The diagnostic tool listed in that topic will help us diagnose the issue, please run it and paste the output here.
  18. So I've noticed now, however admittedly I think I'd rather see some LCPD:FR or ELS control of these, as that trainer has a CRAP TON of options I would never use it seems, not to mention many of the default options seem to 'override' the hooks on other keys, if there was a way to make SNT work with just the features you wanted I'd be all for it, but it doesn't seem to say how to o.O
  19. Never messed with native trainer before, I hear trainer and think things like god mode, unlimited ammo, occasional physics hacks, but not engine control, lol.
  20. Okay that you're going to have to wait for a response from one of the installer devs on then, as I'm not sure why it would be doing that (I didn't even think the installer actually checked for the main binaries).
  21. The LCPD:FR installer is all automatic, you choose where your game is installed and it'll install automatically, that's all you really need to do. Then run the patch installer, I believe the patch installer should automatically detect where you installed the main .90F at, if not just do the same and specify the EFLC installation folder and proceed again. Edit: Also make sure your EFLC is at least 1.1.2.0, which is the latest patch for the Episodes from Liberty City game.
  22. If you don't even have EFLC installed, then trying to install this mod into the ELFC folder is kinda fruitless. ELFC and GTA IV are completely separate games/applications, they are based on the same exact game however they are both completely stand alone installations. GTA IV gets launched via 'LaunchGTAIV.exe', EFLC has a 'LaunchEFLC.exe' launcher. If you have plain GTA IV installed, you need to follow the instructions in the FAQ, and other stickies to the letter, more specifically you should have your GTA IV patched to at least 1.0.6.0 or 1.0.7.0, anything below that is somewhat buggy for the most part.
  23. The FAQ specifically references EFLC (Episodes from Liberty City), next time take a glance around at the primary topics/pages, chances are your question will be answered already.
  24. A -trainer- that does it? I doubt there are any trainers that do it, I think there used to be a hack you could do of 'turning the engine off' while still sitting in the car, but I can't recall how. Alternatively you could just turn off the vehicle when you get out of it (eg; holding down the exit vehicle button will turn it off as you get out rather than just get out), and 'stand' outside of the cruiser as you speed check so to say. I wouldn't mind seeing a mod though that can turn off a vehicle while still in it for what you're talking about though, I imagine it's possible.
  25. lol, well I've done it with a modified landstalker model. I always figured I was just close enough to the forward vehicle that the rear one was as well and figured it was waiting behind a regular AI car.
