I can seem to even open GTA IV. I have tried to open it and open it as an administrator but it immediately shuts down and says it is due to DEP. A

Any suggestions???

I did try to disable it and nothing different happened.

You're most likely not running the game as Administrator. Make sure you Run As -> Administrator, alternatively if you disabled DEP you will need to restart for it to take full effect.

I was also having the same problem. I disabled DEP restarted the computer and ran has an admin and still the same problem occurs.

This may be irrelevent but isn't patch 1.0.0.0 the very first patch right after the installation? I thought LCPDFR was not compatible.

Update your game. (Also, the black box shows that your game is an illegal copy with a crack. Only pure legit copies will work fully with LCPDFR.)

Could you post a pictue of your GTA IV folder?

me and it also does not know how it turns out because for some programs but it can be to GTA IV writes of this progtam must run with DEP zakže I do not know but this is only for Windows Vista and above but not on windows XP
