  1. C:Program Files (x86)Steamuserdata[userid]760remote[appid] I believe the appid for GTA IV is 12210, assuming it's the same as the store link. (http://store.steampowered.com/app/12210/)
  2. The issue is probably that the ELS cofig file isn't correct for the vehicles you are using. The name after "File" is the name of the vehicle configuration file that you want that car to use, not the model name of the car.
  3. You'll have to re-install the game. As for amount of car mods, it all depends on how your GTA acts. It's different for every person.
  4. Can you link the vehicle pack you are using, and also post your _SLOTCONTROL.ini file?
  5. Yup, there's the generic C0000005 error code. It's probably because of there being too many car mods.
  6. MODERATOR NOTICE Moving to GTA IV Support Requests as this doesn't relate to the LCPDFR modification. Can you post a screen in game of what you are experiencing? ELS 8 acts differently in multiplayer than it does in singleplayer. Also, did you enable the ELS vehicle in _SLOTCONTROL.ini, and is the file set to the correct configuration file?
  7. Thank you. The text documents called AdvancedHook and AdvancedHookInit are the logs for those, can you please post them? Most likely it is because of GTA IV not being able to handle so many mods. Have you tried playing with no other mods, only LCPDFR? That means no ELS or modded cars, or any other script mods.
  8. Can you post a screenshot of your GTA directory?
  9. Indeed, ALT-K used to be the Evacuate Area keybind, but now you have to hold down caps lock and use the mouse to select Evacuate Area. The square dot is part of the mod. When you aim at something that can be done, it will turn red. For example, holding ALT and aiming the square at a dead suspect, then pressing E will report the suspect as down. I'm guessing the map zooms out when you press T? I believe T is the default key for the map zooming out and more HUD being displayed in GTA IV. Because you manually installed the taser, AdvancedHookInit.asi isn't necessary.
  10. MODERATOR NOTICE Moving to GTA IV Support. Read this before posting in the Vehicle Showroom: '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>> Put the config file in your ELS folder, and change the "file" for the model you are replacing in _SLOTCONTROL.ini to the name of the new config file.
  11. No, that just means the GTA IV directory will be in your Steam folder.
  12. Okay, in that case. You failed to read the instructions before posting in this forum. So we'll remind you of them. Please do the following: Make sure you aren't using a crack - We don't support cracks Update GTA IV to 1.0.7.0 (the latest version of the game, or 1.1.2.0 for EFLC) - This sometimes fixes a wide variety of issues Make sure that you run the game as an administrator. Make sure that your GTA IV root folder (and every subdirectory) is not set to "read-only" Ensure that ScriptHook.dll, ScriptHookDotNet.asi and Dsound.dll OR Xlive.dll are in the GTA IV ROOT folder Ensure that there is a folder titled 'LCPDFR' in the ROOT GTA IV folder. Check that all the above files exist, if they do not, reinstall LCPDFR with the MANUAL installation. Ensure that you are using up to date versions of every LCPDFR dependency and LCPDFR itself. Install these: .Net Framework 4.5, Microsoft Visual C++ Redist 2012 If your problem has been solved after following these basic instructions, hit 'Mark Solved' next to this post. If not, please now reply to this thread, and make sure that you do the following: Give a clear, detailed description of the problem. Explain any circumstances surrounding the problem. State what solutions you have tried. Post ALL relevant logs (LCPDFR.log, Scripthook.log, ScriptHookDotNet.log, AdvancedHook.log). Include as much information as possible. Post your system specifications. Post what other mods you are using. This includes car and script mods. Please note that failure to follow these instructions may cause this thread to be closed.
  13. You can, you'll just have to deal with the crash every so often. I usually play for around 15-30 minutes before it crashes. Sometimes it will last longer, though. I also use a whole lot of mods that I'm not willing to give up. If ineseri can't find the problem, then I don't know who can.
  14. Looks like you're just getting those random crashes that comes with modding GTA IV.
  15. What version of LCPDFR are you using? This is common with the outdated version, .95 You need to use the latest LCPDFR version: >LCPDFR 1.0c
  16. Does the game run without LCPDFR installed?
  17. More recently I've been listening to these
  18. Press ~ and type forceduty
  19. It's definitely possible that it's because of another program. Kind of like how my mouse stopped working in GTA IV after installing Watch Dogs, then worked again after verifying the Watch Dogs files. GTA IV is very odd.
  20. But are you following these rules? 1. Close your eyes before you place your fingers on the keyboard. 3. Only use 1 finger from each hand. I can see it being easier if you use the correct finger placement, but doing it by only touching the keyboard with one finger must be more difficult. I guess I should do mine now: ineseru Damn, so close.
  21. Question about the cones, will they work like Police Helper and have people avoid them, or will the traffic just crash through them? Also, this looks to be coming along really nicely, great work.
  22. More like: Mom: "I saw this video on Facebook of someone lighting himself on fire, wanna try it?!" Son: "Sounds fun!"
  23. There are some cars that use ELS to have the lights flash inside of the car. For example, >this car displays the text that is on the message board inside the car, as well as the blinkers in the dash. As for the radar thing, I'm not sure if that's possible.
  24. Then trainer > model > voice menu > I think it is the 4th list of voices > scroll right until you find the M_Y_COP voices and select your preferred voice. If you want M_Y_STROOPER then you would use the 5th list, I believe. They are in alphabetical order by model name.
