1. Go to your GTAIV Install folder 2. Right-click on LaunchGTAIV.exe 3. Run as administrator 4. Click yes 5. Play GTAIV, if it doesn't work, come back here.

This says that you don't have LCPDFR installed, could you please provide a picture of your GTAIV Root Folder?

it may not help, but all i did was reinstall gta, patch it, worked fine.

While we are here, get rid of Trainerbogt and Trainerlad, you only need trainer.

download these and put them in ur gtaiv root, relaunch. Remember to run LaunchGTAIV.exe as admin and make sure gtaiv.exe has compatibility XP3, find this out by right-clicking gtaiv.exe, going to properties, compatibility. AdvancedHook.dll AdvancedHookInit.asi

Run the game once more, go to your GTA IV root and open up the LCPDFR.txt, upload that here. Are you running as admin and in compatibility XP3?

Is LCPD:FR able to run despite this problem?

The new update came without any warning to anyone so LCPD:FR and most if not all other mods do not work with the 1.0.8.0 patch. Here's my method of downgrading, it may not work for you: Post back if it worked or if it didn't.

Are you able to launch LCPDFR now? I made a few edits to the post just before so check them out. And yeah, not many help in the IV forums anymore. I and i'm assuming you don't have the specs nor money to play GTA V, so we're left with IV. At least rockstar sort of still gives a bugger with it's latest 1.8 patch.

Yes. I had this problem a while ago and just continuing to fix errors until the dependency error went away had solved it. Make sure you downloaded the latest ELS: Right-click on GTAIV.exe, properties, compatibility and go to XP3. Also, give this a shot. And this:

If you made a backup of your current GTAIV Installation, then please reinstall GTAIV. Do not do anything after the GTAIV Installation except for the steps below: If it does not work, then please download gta_registry_repair_2102.rar and follow the steps in the next spoiler. If the second set of instructions do not work, then we will have to try something else. Please note, G17 Media did not make the program, nor did I. We aren't responsible if anything messes up your computer.

[System dependencies] Failed to find MSVCP110.DLL (exists in game folder, but is expected to be in systems folder only) Ensure MSVCP110.dll exists in System32 and SysWOW64 then delete it from the GTAIV root folder. :)

Run another check and put the log in a spoiler.

Download this and this, put it into your GTAIV Root, then run the check again to make sure that no other dependencies are missing. If it says that something exists in the game folder, but expected to be in system folders, paste the DLL in question to System32 and SysWOW64, the common path for these folders is: C:\Windows\System32 and C:\Windows\SysWOW64, if it asks to overwrite, click yes. :)

Teehee, thanks to all for all the help. I thought to my self, "I wonder if I run XP3 compatibility, will it work?" Sure enough, it did.

I always crash when arriving on Shots Fired, maybe because a few units get called when it isn't isnt a prank is the reason why.
