  1. I don't have access to Administrator. It's a corporate computer, so to speak.
  2. So, out of boredom and annoyance of having to connect CD optical drives or use my external, I brought a cheap GTA IV key from G2A. Runs fine. Except no mods load. From past experience, when having access to Administrator, running it with Administrator works fine. On this PC, I cannot run it with Admin. Any suggestions? Things tried:
  3. The above steps did not work Fresh install of GTA IV. Loads fine, goes through the character loading screen with all the faces then goes black with the white writing for a few moments, then crashes to the desktop. Steps tried: Putting listed .dll's in SYSWOW64, seems to have cleared them except for MSVCP.110. Replaced the file in SYSWOW64 but it didn't fix it. New Advancedhook.dll, didn't fix the issue listed in the logs above. Any support would be great. Swapped out dsound for xlive, no joy. Logs can be seen in the Original Post. Mods: Simple Native Trainer ELSv7 (thought i might try downgrading from v8 to see what happens) San Bernandio Police Department Pack Traffic Flow Indicator Script If you do need the screenshot, I'll provide it. But I won't unless it's asked. Thanks!
  4. Log-file from Diagnostics: Log file from LCPDFR.log OS: Win10 Game Version: 1.0.0.7 Error: Crashes to desktop on loading of game Steps tried: Putting listed .dll's in SYSWOW64, seems to have cleared them except for MSVCP.110. Replaced the file in SYSWOW64 but it didn't fix it. New Advancedhook.dll, didn't fix the issue listed in the logs above. Any support would be great. Thanks!
  5. Windows pages like Direct X will auto direct your web browser to a window's 10 image download page, which is very annoying. Go to here and extract the DLL somewhere. Place that DLL into your GTA IV Root Directory and retry playing.
  6. Wrong Thread!!! This is LCPDFR! Not LSPDFR!
  7. Open up the LCPD:FR RESPONSE CONFIGURATOR in your LCPD:FR folder of your GTA IV Root Directory. Many people don't notice this, but if you go onto option tab 2, right at the top, there is a button called auto save. Turn that off. Make sure all .fr files have been deleted from your GTA IV Directory by going to the search box and typing .fr and then try again. Leave a like and respond if it worked!
  8. As in you don't want to replace vehicles like police, police2 and so on? If so, then it's impossible to add it to the game. If you want to add a police vehicle, you will need to change one of the police models in Open/SparkIV. One thing you could do is pick a vehicle that you don't like and replace it with the vehicle that you want. Please note, if you're going to do that, you will need to rename the vehicle files to that vehicle. I also cannot ensure that ELS will work. BACKUP THE ORIGINAL VEHICLE IF YOU'RE GOING TO DO THAT!
  9. I don't think there is one... If so, i'd like to know as well.
  10. MSVCP100.dll Download that and put it into your GTAIV root directory.
  11. Well you have a few options. The most easiest, but requiring the most space, is to copy your GTAIV installation to an external media such as a USB Stick. Please note that this USB stick will require around 16-20 GB. If you want to make backups of the most important files, like default vehicles, textures, etc, then you should either Export each vehicle or texture to a reliable external media or another place within your computer or make backups of the .img files. The most important .img files are your vehicles and ped_ ones. To do so, go to PC -> Models -> CDI Images backup those .img files. That way if you ever have an accident and you need to replace your car files, you should do that. Another good tip is to put in some working uniforms and cars that you like, then make a backup of that. So if something fails, you can revert back to what you previously had. To save space, put them all in RAR/Zip files. Extract them when you need to at a later date. ~ Kind Regards, Sergeant Blake
  12. Make your own thread.
  13. Or you could put in your GTAIV Disk one and repair it via there. Note that it will replace all vehicles, uniforms etc. Side Note for Administrators: Sorry if i'm spamming. Just answering questions!
  14. I don't understand what you mean. Have the vehicles without textures?
  15. You should be able to select it when you go to the station and pick your uniform. If not, install simple native trainer and use that to wear your model.
  16. Go to LCPD:FR Response Configuator, located in your LCPD:FR file of the GTAIV Root Directory. Disable Auto Save. Go to your GTA IV Directory and make sure there are no files called savegame.fr or anything like that. If so, delete those and try again. ONLY CONTINUE TO MY NEXT STEP IF ABOVE DIDN'T WORK. DOING THE STEPS BELOW THIS WILL RESET YOUR SAVE-GAME TO THE FIRST MISSION. Navigate to Documents Navigate to Rockstar Games Navigate to Save Games Delete everything in that save game folder and try again. If you cannot find that, you will have to have administrative privileges to complete this next step. Press Start + R, that should bring up the run dialogue. Type in %appdata% Navigate to Rockstar Games or similar folders. Navigate to your savegame files. Delete those Save game game files and try again. I am unsure on the %appdata% save game file locations, if someone could correct me, if needed, please do so. ~ Kind Regards, Sergeant Blake
  17. This is GTAIV Support Requests. Not GTAV LSPDF:R requests. I don't understand why people are posting GTAV help requests in GTAIV help requests. The GTAV LSPDF:R help requests can be found here: http://www.lcpdfr.com/forums/forum/888-support-information/ To answer your question, It sounds like your video card may be playing up. May I see your specifications? To find your specifications, Press Start + R, that should bring up the run dialogue. Type DXDIAG into that box and press Enter/Return Press the Start Button, search for the Snipping Tool. Take images of each tab within the DXDIAG program. Go to prnt.sc and upload those images. Link them in your next post. ~ Kind Regards, Sergeant Blake.
  18. Did you download the installer or the manual install?
  19. For vehicles, you will need a program like SparkIV or OpenIV. SparkIV Tutorial OpenIV Tutorial I CANNOT STRESS THIS ENOUGH. BACK. UP. YOUR. GAME. FILES. to do so: open up OpenIV/SparkIV if your in sparkiv go to the side and scroll all the way down to the bottom, click on CDI images. if your on openiv, you should see models. export all .img files in there and put them in a SAFE PLACE THAT IS NOT LIKELY TO FAIL ANYTIME SOON. if you dont want to have to replace all vehicles when one stuffs up, back up each individual vehicle If your new, I suggest getting ELS. Emergency Lighting System (ELS) is what most 3rd-Party vehicles use. It basically animates your emergency light bar and gives you control over your sirens. You can do things like have the lights without sirens and so on. Kind Regards, Sergeant Blake.
  20. GTA IV crashes during installation. The current mods I have installed are: LCPD:FR 1.1 ELS v8 Simple Native Trainer This is my log, generated by the LCPDFR diagnostics tool.
  21. Might be one of the cars that are messing it up. Backup your vehicles.img whole file (pc -> models -> cdi images -> back up vehicles.img Once you've made a backup, delete the vehicles.img from the game installation. Not your backup. Delete it from your game installation. Once done, load in Disk 1 of Grand Theft Auto IV, open it up and find the "setup.exe" program. Open that up and click on "repair", it will only reset what's missing to default, (In this case, it's the vehicles.img because you deleted it). It will not uninstall anything like LCPD:FR. Once it's finished repairing, relaunch the game. If it still crashes, it might be a script problem.
  22. Welcome to the forums, I can happily help! Open up the spoiler and follow the instructions.
