  1. Those costs a fortune, I doubt a small force like Flint would be able to afford 20 duo colour bars when they ordered the vehicles. They're most likely normal blue/red lightbars, they're only around 1000$-2000$.
  2. They can be specced at different locations on the lightbar, the Libertys we have, has the takedowns in that position.
  3. No, that's a Whelen Liberty with clear lenses
  4. Guys, this is your fearless leader, I would advise all of you to fill it out.
  5. NicolaiB posted a gallery image in GTA IV Galleries
  6. Please edit your previous posts as we do not allow doubleposting.
  7. This is just a one-off special vehicle, SCAS uses V50's now, however their old vehicle was a V70.
  8. Robert: The diagnostic tool should tell you what is wrong when you run it, otherwise follow the troubleshooter when you post in this section and post your log files if the problem persists. Lilmar: We have a support section for people requiring support, don't support users outside this section, not even via private messages, you have been warned before about this.
  9. THe brits stick Ambulance on the side of their RRV's, that's just how they do things.
  10. You can use the same software you use for car skins. All you're editing is the skins that are associated with the police peds.
  11. Only 0.95. All the previous releases, as well as the current RC2 are "Work in progress" releases, meaning they're not the finished version. It was never the intention that we'd have public WIP versions, they were meant for testers only, but one of the testers leaked a copy of the first Beta, with a guide to bypassing the security measures.
  12. Yes, the RC releases are "release candidates" 0.95 will be released in all its glory when it's done, there's no ETA on the full version, and I've currently heard nothing about a public RC3.
  13. Yes, press alt + p, then ctrl + p when starting LCPDFR as opposed to pressing alt + t, then heading to the station.
  14. Google Maps style minimap
  15. Nothing to see here! This topic has been closed by G17 Media staff. If you feel that this topic has been closed in error, please report this post.
  16. We only provide support for "clean installation", meaning you'll have to try with only LCPDFR installed. It's nigh on impossible to troubleshoot when you're using a wide array of different mods.
  17. You don't have to quote the entire wall of text when replying.
  18. Opening up for the privatization of police will be the start of a long list of scandals and decline in the service provided by police, private companies have proven time and time again that they cannot fulfil the responsibilities that comes with such important tasks.
  19. And the physics of the vehicles, as well as handling, those are absolutely FUUUUCKED
  20. Look on YouTube, there's at least three different Fed Sig Smart SS2000 released for GTA IV
  21. YouToob, after searching for "GTA IV Police mod", I started out playing the cop missions on Xbox, but got bored with the two or three chases that didn't involve suspects unloading copious amounts of ammo into my patrol car. I tried PPM first, my first incident (after working out how the hell it worked) was for "gang activity", I arrived and five RPGs hit my car upon stopping, then I proceeded to uninstall PPM and install LCPDFR, haven't looked back since. I started out with 0.90 HF1 if I remember correctly.
  22. It has a steep learning curve that's for sure, I acquired the game recently, and jumped straight into MP with Harper and Justin, and that's where the game really shines, it's the best MP experience by far when everything comes together, which is has a few times (usually on the same server, there's so crap ones out there) already, I'm not much of a MP player (bar COD4 until now), but this game is in another league, it's the shooter that's closest to the real thing. You're in for quite a bit of a shock if you're coming from Call of Duty or BattleField 3, both of which was marketed as being "realistic", when they're just a flash game of "Laser Tag". Arma are miles ahead when it comes to realism, it thankfully does not require us to follow any actual ROE's, it would kill the game for anyone but the war anoraks, and nobody likes anoraks). The voice acting can be atrocious at times, partly due to Bohemia Interactive Studios (shorted as BIS or BI Studios, I thought it was a porn company at first) having a very limited budget, especially compared to Carl on Duty, and BF (which is EA crap, so let's not mention that)
  23. Allow me to add this: ARMA requires TEAMWORK, you cannot Chuck Norris your way on the servers, you need to work together with each other, nothing beats lying on a side of an Afghan (Takistan) mountain, shooting away at the taliban hold up the the village below, while discussing with your team who's going down to take out the tali comms tower with a satchel. Other times you might be designating targets for the jets to hit. You might as well be playing on a "insurgency" server, where you have to clear a map from insurgents, these maps are split up into blocks, which will go from red to green on your map, it provides some of the most intense action I've had in games.
