  1. I'm confused, are you implying you want Lt.Caine to charge us for ELS V or to release it as soon as it works and then improve it as they go?
  2. August? Aaargh... that's two months away... what circle of hell is "waiting for ELS V to release and knowing if you reinstall GTA IV to use ELS IV it'll just crash on you a lot"?
  3. I personally am hoping for a release of ELS V this month, but I'm not gonna get my hopes up. To me it looks almost complete but we'll have to wait and see. So impatient... must resist... urge to... store self in freezer and somehow be unfrozen on ELS V's release...
  4. I am also wondering what it means. Enjoyed the video but was confused that it's in dashcam view the entire time. Not entirely sure what we were supposed to be looking at in the video.
  5. What are your graphics settings set to? What video card do you have?
  6. Did you actually make this picture? I notice the monitor is specifically showing the LCPDFR forums and am wondering if you somehow managed to edit it so it showed that or actually have a skeleton handy to take the picture. Whichever is true, I am impressed.
  7. You and I are a lot alike. You ki- oh wait, no, sorry. Some of that quote doesn't apply here. You definitely haven't killed me.
  8. Well congratulations on your guess because it seems to be coming true so far.
  9. I seem to remember someone stating earlier in this topic that they expected ELS V to be released by this August. At first I dismissed that and was sure it'd be sooner but as the weeks go by I'm starting to think it's more and more likely. Not that I mind, of course, just something I find interesting, that they seem to be right. Clearly much more of a realist than I am.
  10. Or, in my case, repeatedly stating how impatient I am for its release! And also drooling all over the demonstration videos whenever a new one is out.
  11. There are thirteen pages of vehicles on the vehicle mods section of the site. There are twenty five results on each page. Therefore in total there are 325 vehicle models currently available for GTA V. Some of them are not police vehicles but I would hazard a guess that most are. None of them are ELS enabled, because it isn't out yet. 325 vehicles is sparse to you?
  12. I agree with this wholeheartedly. A few car modders have even said they specifically will make both ELS and non-ELS cars when the mod releases. Not only that, but we've already got quite a lot of car models for download on the site right now, and none of them are ELS enabled because it isn't out yet. Just because one person doesn't want to use ELS cars doesn't mean the mod should be delayed, considering how many *cough* including me *cough* are (im)patiently waiting for it.
  13. It's lucky I have Adblock and can use block element, because that picture would have made it impossible for me to keep scrolled at the bottom of this thread until new posts hid it otherwise.
  14. It's an ELS only feature, which is why it's gonna be so good when it releases. Basically it's a re-code of the lights, I guess you could say.
  15. Ooooooh... it looks SO GOOD. Oops, sorry, I just drooled all over my keyboard. The hype train has started moving again from its temporary delay, all aboard!
  16. Should be easier in V, and crashes are a thing of the past since it's a much more stable base game than GTA IV ever was.
  17. Let's just say there's a reason why, in GTA IV, most cars were for ELS. Hint:
  18. I can agree with that.
  19. Thank you for that, Gravel, people in here are definitely getting a little mean-spirited unfortunately.
  20. Lt.Caine is a perfectionist, he doesn't want to release his mods to the general public, especially big ones like this without making sure they work great. Ask him why he's only allowing a small focus group of testers because I can only assume it's because he'll get better feedback from people he knows.
  21. Well it's been a long time, at least by my reckoning because I'm an impatient son of a bitch, but yeah. Waiting will yield better results but it just looks so good. I don't need it. I don't need it! I don't need it.
  22. Pretty sure the reason it's taking a while is because Lt.Caine is rebuilding a lot of it to work better and do more, so it's not like it's a copy paste from GTA IV to V.
  23. Also on the testing team, though, which is a reason why he's allowed to do that too.
