What are your thoughts on the very first version of LSPDFR? What would you like to see in the future?
I have a couple suggestions that may or may not be possible with the game/Ragehook, but I'm going all out as I'd love to see this in any form of game: -Add the LSPD helicopter for air patrols and have dedicated callouts for that role (Roofchecks, providing assistance for perimeter, pursuit overwatch, etc. basically like what the LAPD's air support division assist with) along with helicoper spotlight control. -Remove Hydra from the vehicle selection screen, this looks like it would be fun for testers and whatnot but I think it would be more appropriate if it had to be spawned in via a trainer and not a "feature" of LSPDFR. Unless of course military callouts were to be later added. -Add penalties for breaking the law, feels alot like LCPDFR being able to go full terminator on everyone as police. Penalties such as traffic infractions when not traveling code, using emergency lights when not responding to a call. I think this might be a more extensive feature that seems complicated but I hope Ragehook can one day make this happen. Penalties could be deduction of money or demotion from LSPD and being marked as a rogue cop if the player goes terminator. This would add great realism to the mod and give actual consequences that I believe will add greatly to the immersion factor. -Obviously license plate checks/license checking. Like in LCPDFR 1.0 I'd like to see this come back again during traffic stops or on foot, with it being tied in to warrants along with a suspect's likeliness of fleeing. -Submission to arrests, I think in V it is way too easy to beat someone to death. Perhaps making it much more difficult (if not impossible) to beat someone to death in two blows will make a gateway to a more complex arrest system. -Obvious issue with the population/traffic going crazy when you point a gun or use force. It would be great if it was possible to tone this down, as whenever I point a gun at a suspect traffic always ends up running into me and my car (GTAV taking over). Maybe having people pull out their phones and recording would be a more realistic route. -Foot pursuits, having certain pedestrians with warrants run when they see you/being able to jump over walls to evade capture would be exhilarating -Bringing back the "search circle" from LCPDFR. In 1.0 having the circle in which the pursuit suspect was last seen was a great inclusion and I would like to see this again (with the LSPD helicopters broadening the circle in searching) -BOLO suspects and vehicles, a pursuit suspect can be called into dispatch and will remain an active BOLO suspect until shift ends. The BOLO suspect and or vehicle remain a constant and have a chance of spawning near or around the player (very low percentage). -MWS/MDT information on suspects, active calls. -Inclusion of more finetuned backup callouts; you may provide real assistance to officers already on an existing callout such as breaking up fights and ongoing foot pursuits.

LSPD First Response
Seems to be the start of something great. My rating as it stands is for the 0.1c beta version of LSPDFR and will change as the versions update. This is a very early build of LSPDFR and as it says "lays down a basic framework upon which the modification will be developed." Features include basic callouts that I have not experienced yet (have not triggered) but are listed in the release notes. Pursuit system seems like it needs some additions such as blips, callouts, and more UI integration. What I am impressed by is the early arrest system that incorporates animations that are already in the game (it does seem a little choppy when transitioning though the animations). No LSPD helicopter (yet) and I hope they are able incorporate Air Patrols (with air support specific callouts) along with spotlight integration and directing ground units, so far this is a very basic version that is bound to get better. Unfortunately this mod will NEVER be useable or supported online which is the biggest letdown for me at this time, which I believe is a big mistake not allowing roleplayers or clans to experience the power of LSPDFR with their friends as they were able to do with LCPDFR in GTAIV. So anyone who wishes to have human interaction (while acting as law enforcement in-game) will need to look elsewhere in modding or rely entirely on roleplaying (which isn't too much of a big deal with me because roleplaying with real players is unparalelled by any mod). This is just my opinion as an active roleplayer as I am spoiled by the experience I get when dealing with real-people ingame through my RP community. I do look forward to future updates and what is in store for this mod as said "The start of something new".

How do I stop this?
You can just get any free antivirus (MSE, AVG, BitDefender) you just have to be smart as that's going to be the main thing that keeps you safe.

LSPDFR and Multiplayer
I my opinion, making the mod non-multiplayer is a HUGE mistake. Rockstar is exactly the same where they stood with GTAIV on mods and it should be the same with modders. Whether it's threat of legal action or not, others will shine where G17 will not when it comes to multiplayer police mods for roleplay. (as it is said that G17 will NEVER support nor condone modding in online).

GTA V Spotlight Mod
Just saying this mod: https://www.gta5-mods.com/scripts/vehicle-controller-lights-engine-doors-cruise-speedometer-trailers-etc Allows for controllable spotlight in the Attack Buzzard only, it's not even configured in the mod but it works! Wherever you look the light turns, and others can see it too.

[REQ] YouTube Channel Art V2
It's pretty unlikely you're going to find a graphics artist that's going to make something quality for free, without even knowing someone. There's little to gain for doing something like this for free for a smaller youtube channel. Just trying to keep his options open if no one takes up this request.

There's people you can pay to do this. Such as: https://www.youtube.com/user/DaleDesigns

LSPDFR Announcement + Preview
I really hope you guys can make the helicopter spotlight controllable for lighting up pursuits and whatnot. Absolutely awesome what I've seen so far.

LSPDFR Announcement + Preview
Maybe in the finer stages (after initial release) helicopter roles could be more specialized like LAPD's Air Support division. You would be able to respond to calls, assess scenes, and attend pursuits.

Player controlled spotlights??? I hope so!

R* Massive temporary bans
If there's irrefutable evidence they are abusing players with no intent to stop (also the level 999 guys that got it in 10 minutes) in my opinion that would be grounds for a permaban. But I'm not R* and business is business.

R* Massive temporary bans
R* really needs to crack down on bans. 2-3 week bans for level/money hacking? Come on... Should be a permanent ban all the way if they abuse players or their stats.

Is it just me?
Personally I think GTA V's handling is too arcadey. Acceleration seems unrealistic and turning is way too nimble, I prefer IV's driving system. It's your preference.

Norton Internet Security keeps removing LCPDFR and ELS
Norton's Internet security is in my opinion a horrible piece of software; along with all their antivirus products. Don't get me wrong, Norton actually manage one really good utility.
