I think that not having the .ini is a problem. It should be in the same place as the .asi.

He only has Intel Integrated Graphics. Ergo, he can't run most games let alone GTA IV.

Do you have your police and/or police2 modded as ELS-enabled cars? If so, this could be the problem. Try keeping your police and police2 (as well as firetruck and ambulance if you are using any traffic spawning mods) as non-ELS vehicles, and see if it still crashes.

It likely appears black due to using and edited visualsettings.dat file to make lights brighter. If it wasn't that dark, then all you would have is a large square block of light, and so most modders make them that dark by default.

Quick question... Are you using a desktop or a laptop?

Adapter RAM is NOT your system RAM. Two different things. That being said, it does not look like the poster has an actual graphics card (just Intel Integrated graphics?). If this is the case, you will not be able to run GTA IV. The game needs a pretty decent card to do much.

Well, sadly, there are no pictures of this thing, but it's a slicktop CVPI. If you don't want to take this on due to lack of references, I certainly understand, but just in case, I'll save myself a post and describe it: Front: Some sort of full-length visor light bar (unsure if Whelen inner edge or not, as there is no space in the middle), all red lights Front: Pair of grill lights, left = red, right = blue (dimmer blue to comply with NYS Blue Light law, not sure if possible with ELS textures) Front: The real car has no rambar Back: This is where it gets interesting... Two sets of 4 lights, each set in the bottom corners of the rear windshield. The sets light up alternately, that is all lights in one set light up when all the lights in the other set are off just like wig-wag lights, and these lights go red-blue-red-blue. And if that weren't enough, there's another slight twist: The lights appear to be have a little space between each light, and two of them are higher/lower than the other two ( -- _ -- _ , where -- = red and _ = blue). The innermost edge of the lights (the ones closest to the middle) are about halfway between the edge of the windshield and the break light. As for the skin, here is a picture of our old (so old I've never even seen this thing lol) slicktop. The only differences are the new one is a black and white, and the text (Dial 911 in front of door, POLICE, town name) is a different color (turquoise outlined in black). But everything is in the same position as the one in the picture. I also have a "homemade" badge if you wanted to use it. If you want more clarification on anything, let me know. The joys of living in a small town... lol

Does it look like it is getting cut off at the bottom of you screen? Try moving the window up a little bit.

Actually, I believe Ridgerunner has a public one, and I know I still do. Ridge's is in his NYSP car skin pack, I believe. The pack also contains the SP uniform.

Yep. Either you're not running something as an administrator, or your EFLC folders are read-only.

Before spending more money, see if your EFLC folders are read-only. If you don't know how to do this, let me know and I'll post a guide.
