Dxtory is amazing. Although anytime I record GTA and GTA only I get terrible frame rates on the video. Perfect in game but the video playback is awful.

This fixed it. Really appreciate it. Hope this helps others.

Lets be clear -Default GTA IV settings with ELS v7 is blurry -Default GTA IV with ELS v7 visualsettings.dat is blurry -Using a radience mod with ELS v7 is still blurry Previously the first time I ever used els v7 it was perfect. I installed ELS v7 and used the visualsettings they provided. For some odd reason it is no longer working. Its a huge blurry cotton candy ugly light model. There has to be a setting somewhere that is causing this. I don't know what else could cause these issues. EDIT: the ambulance comes into view...my lights are light that just blurry and I do not have any mods on.

Hello everyone, I have spent the last day and a half looking for a solution for a problem that is quite annoying. I have ELS v7 installed, lcpdfr, traffic flow, and some custom vehicles. I do not have any ENBs or any other graphical enhancing mods. I had gta working decent enough with crisp, clear els lights before I decided to do a complete reinstall of the game. Now that I have installed everything the ELS lights are extremely blurry. Instead of looking like lights it looks like cotton candy. I have tried using in game graphic settings to change it including the P button and I have used the default visualsettings and the one that came with the els v7 mod with no success. I even tried the settings from the radience mod with no success. So now I am stuck not knowing how to make the lights clear again. The els v7 impala i downloaded from the site here looks more clear than the other cars I have but I just don't understand how it was working previously and now it isn't. It is unplayable because I cannot get over the fact of cotton candy looking lights. I'd appreciate any and all help. On a side note: Does anyone know where I can read more about the spotlight mod. For some reason it started failing to work before the resinstall and after. *I do have a backup of all original files that I modify but even with default settings this doesn't work.

With the department I worked with the lightbar controls was a sliding switch 1 - lightbar only to the rear 2 - all lights minus wig/wags 3 - everything A seperate controller operated the amber lights.

Just the ones that are designed for 7 have better patterns and lights in my opinion. That unmarked impala is amazing. I was also using the LCPD pack with basic crown vic and charger. They look great too.

Probably because you're trying to do stuff that wasn't meant to be done in the game. Such as using mods. Lol crashing is caused by all kinds of random B.S. Trial and error. If it doesn't work for you try something else or make sure you did stuff correctly. Or forget trying to do it at all. Sometimes you just can't do everything.

I blame video games for making me work hard since I was 14. I blame video games for making me aim to become a police officer. I blame video games for allowing me to better myself and get a paramedic tech degree. I blame video games I love firearms and carry one every day. I blame video games...lol People will do what they want. Video games don't make anyone do anything they aren't already willing to do.

I want to be able to go to the driver side or passenger side of the car to talk to the person. My choice.

A paramedic mod will never be as good as a police mod because there is always a lot more stuff you have to do 1 on 1 with the patient compared to and officer with a violator. I'm going to school for paramedic tech but will become a cop.

I don't think I have ever known anyone who wants more accidents in libery city. I cry on some shifts because of all the fender benders between citizens. Its....so....emotional.

I'd suggest making the wire from mic run around the backside. I know I keep my radio at a 7-8 o clock position and wrap the wired mic around my back up over my right shoulder and clip it on my shirt in the center of my chest. Makes getting tangled up less likely and keeps the mic where I can hear the chatter.

Broker-Dukes Expressway is great for speeders, red light runners, failure to use turn signals, improper lane change, littering, being an a$$hole, excessive noise (stereo systems), excessive horn use, being a shi77y AI driver, and more! lol

Guess someone didn't read my post where I stated I don't like that MDC.lcpdfr.com thing.

I'm not a fan the mdc thing that was created for serious roleplayers because when I tried it nothing went smooth. However nothing is more smooth than a notepad document. Anyway just to keep myself with the eye on the prize I will use notepad to acutally make myself type something down so traffic stops aren't repetative and only a few seconds long. I thought I'd share my results. You will see how I added more and more content to what information I would keep track of.

Mafia II did that right. Car would slowly burn, blow the tires, peel the paint away...fun stuff. :D I'd be interested in a no cars exploding like they are made of C4 deal too.

I think there needs to be a sticky *EVERYTHING REGARDING ELS* or something. There are too many posts about ELS. You have the choice to use awesome epic ELS and enjoy it regardless of the drawbacks You have the choice to use the crappy standard lights with the interesting additions by LCPDFR using the / key You have the choice to wait for that illumination mod thing and I believe that is all. I love my ELS.

I go with the flow some nights are busy, some are slow, and some are a nice smooth mixture. I never force callouts or chases.
