The Final Countdown - LSPDFR Trailer 2
I have refrained from replying to this topic because I have nothing nice to say to those who are responding to it. I think the majority of you are entitled jackwagons that can't be bothered to support the developers of a free mod by not demanding a release date. You are not entitled to this mod. You get to play the hardwork of G17 because they want to provide us a great police mod for GTA 5. I am excited for this announcement. I've read through all 30 pages and wanted to slap many of you. Learn to be patient. If you can't be patient. Learn not to reply with useless questions or demands. They will provide the features that they want to provide. LCPDFR is a good example of their work. I'd expect they want to provide the same level of gameplay and if not more. It doesn't take a genious to know it will be released when ready. It will have the basic features for the first version. More updates and more content as time goes on. LCPDFR was very basic at the beginning. I think because of their knowledge and help they have now the first version will be really good. So be patient. Also IDGAF if you're butthurt. Keep it up G17. Mods should delete these useless posts. This is a useless post. Shouldn't need to be said. Should be common sense.

different traffic flows?
I use one called realtraffic.asi. It is Chikmaru Real Traffic or something like that. I've tried traffic flow and it was nice but only 20 cars. I'd use 2 of them at once for 40 cars without issue but I was tired of it. Traffic Load hated me and caused texture issues. So now I'm using the real traffic one. I'm going to go test traffic load because I built a new machine. EDIT: That realtraffic one is still the best for variety. Sticking to it. EDIT 2: All of a sudden today with my teams latest mod pack this won't work. No idea why. :(

GTA V - FPV Confirmed
This will completely change the way GTA V is experienced. I played the xbox 360 version and beat it but a full on first person mode with details will be awesome. I know we are all drooling over the possibility of having the GTA V version of LCPDFR. I hope that we will be able to have stable online LCPDFR multiplayer. That is my dream.

LCPDFR update to work with Citizen Multiplayer.
Would be impossible to modify LCPDFR to run with every script, modification and other B.S. out there.

What Do You Do When You Are Done With Your Shift On LCPDFR
When the game crashes that is when I go off duty. Some people have better luck than others. Vanilla GTA 4 with LCPDFR runs like a champ forever. Running ELS cars and other mods tends to put a stop to that quickly. I use JSGME mod installer so I can enable and disable mods in a flash.

when do you think lcpdfr 1.1 would be released?
One thing I would like to see is when the pedestrian says I don't have my ID you can ask for their name and still run them.

Starting a video thread of my work
I'm an EMT in a rural part of Texas. Had the dispatchers tell me a man was missing a finger. We arrive and stuck a band aid on something little more than a paper cut...LOL at 3am!!!!

LSPDFR Wish/ Want List
LCPDFR has the most realistic view of basic police work and police work in general. There are no levels. The features put in have been refined and developed to support what you actually need to do in a realistic setting. I have full faith in the team to improve on what they have here and if possible move into GTA V. I will continue to play LCPDFR and with prior law enforcement experience I can say this latest version is the best out there. A few extra vehicle mods, ELS 8, uniform mods, weapon mods, and whatever else you would like to add for extra realism this mod has transformed GTA IV into the police simulation experience that people want. It still is like nails on a chalkboard to watch some of these 'special' people on youtube who play the mod and think they are awesome. Everyone can play it how I want but the basic police work is what I like to do. Traffic Stops and everything associated with them are my thing. Best of luck to the team.

CryENB V2 (1.0.7.0/EFLC)
I have: i7 3770 12gb ram Radeon 7770 Default configuration I was only hitting 14fps. Low_End configuration I am hitting 30-40 and it does look nicer. However, I can't stand the daytime. Everything looks a bit too bright. Also all the default vehicles headlights are blackened out because of the ENB. At night it looks great. ELS looks great, lighting looks great, but for day time nah. Although since I like night and this is the first working ENB for me I will use it until I decided to try something else. Good job.

LSPD Pack ELS v8
Appreciate the response. If you would ever like to make the first stage do something and turn on the rear lights only that would be cool. It is just something from real life experience that can't do here with any car I've ever found. We'll turn on the rear of the lightbar and use the takedown lights to the front at night.

LSPD Pack ELS v8
Only thing I could complain about with this pack is the a police Vapid Cruiser doesn't have any strobes in the reverse lights like all the other cars do. I don't know if it was an over sight or on purpose. Also as for preference the 3 stage lighting system isn't even used. 1 stage rear lights only, 2 stage all red/blues, 3 stage strobes/wig wags/white lights. How it was on our cruisers.

ELS v8 Marked 2008 Ford Crown Victoria
Love everything but the dash lights. No squad I've ever been in would have that on

Dodge Caravan & Updated Dodge Charger STR8
One of my most favorite cars. I love how the lighting is setup. I'm new to ELS 8 I've been gone from the LCPDFR mod for a while but the Corona's or whatever they are called look great. I notice sometimes when I leave the vehicle they quit rotating. Any reason why?

ELS lighting and lighting stages
Well I had an in depth thing written but I accidently switched pages. All I want to get across is that there is a real life reason for the stages of lighting in a patrol vehicle. At least for my department with the Chevy Impala we had a 3 stage lighting system. First stage would turn on the rear of the lightbar. Sometimes you don't need to have anything distracting flashing to the front. The second stage would turn the entire lightbar on. The third stage would turn on the wig wag lights in the head lights and tail lights. Sometimes you don't want to be blinding people at night and so not having to use them can be nice. Our lightbars were red and blue with white take downs to the front and alley lights. We had a yellow traffic stick in the rear window with its own control panel. I bought GTA IV on the steam sale after losing my discs a while back. The latest LCPDFR and ELS plus the cars released make this one of the most engaging policing experiences one can get into right now. I hope someone will be able to use this to make their vehicles even better.

Large Address Aware - a possible way to increase GTA IV stability
I guess I do not understand if I am using the program correctly. I followed the instructions for basic and advanced but how do I know if it is operating correctly? Also I always launched GTA IV with LaunchGTAIV.exe but I also see a GTAIV.exe. On the LAA program the LaunchGTAIV.exe says false for both LAA and Original and that can't be changed or forced. The GTAIV.exe one will let me change laa and original to what I want. What settings should I have to know this is working? Also once I have the settings right do I just click on the .exe in my root folder as normal or does it create a new one elsewhere? I'm not new to computers or modding but nothing says what LAA/Original settings should be.

Auxilary
Volunteered 120 hours over 8 months with our police auxiliary before I moved. Police chief sent me a signed certificate thanking me for my service and looks good at the back of my resume. I enjoyed every moment and learned a lot from the awesome officers on the PD. Pepper spray is great :D Only regret is having to leave.

ARMY UNIFORM
Anyone else notice how the flag on the right shoulder is not facing the proper direction? It should be backwards as if running into battle.

Not Enough Pursuits
Maybe it is because I do use bravehearts scripts running in the background but I seem to get pursuits often enough. It is hit and miss. Some days people like to run and other days its all routine. I turn off LCPDFR and bravehearts call outs because I love to beat the street finding violations. Traffic stops are my bread and butter.

New to LCPDFR...This seems like my dream come true game.
If you have a decent machine it should crash less. Just remember you are modding a game with numerous mods and scripts it wasn't designed to use at once. I run I7 3770k 16GB Ram Radeon 7770 2gb and it does alright. Although I was just on and it crashed randomly while doing nothing. Doesn't usually happen that fast. Usually i can play for hour or more and quit the game before it crashes.
