Well for me I play with a roleplay group we all use the same mods and stuff. I host and it works. They host and it won't. So basically just host the game to solve my issue.

I was just wondering if anyone else has multiplayer issues. I found a roleplaying group and we all have the same mods. They have been playing for months without any issues however when i join I lag out in 10 seconds sometimes I play for 5 minutes and lag out. I don't think I have any hair left. My NAT is open and I am not sure if it is my modem or internet speed that may be the issue. Or something I am not even thinking of.

I just want a map that isn't all city based. I want a city but I also want rural roads, highways, small towns, and whatever else that GTA 4 NYC doesn't offer.

Right click, un-check read only. Seriously I think we need to hire "sticky" searchers for the forum. Have people go around through pages after pages of topics and see what is common. Seems like every other hour a new post about the same thing comes up. Although stickies end up ignored like a search function.

Hello, If you are talking about adding objects onto vehicles you will have to do some research and learn how to do it. Or find a new vehicle model. Honestly, how many times in a game do you stare inside your car to see what is inside or not? Non ELS vehicles are most likely trying to stay low poly count and everything on a vehicle adds to the poly count. So most of the time you end up with a car, some non els lights, and a skin. Thats it.

What do you have your "tick" set at?

Any side effects to this mod? Texture issues or know crashing issues? Do you use this mod yourself?

Don't mean to hijack a thread but TrafficFlow r5v2 TrafficLoad and one other i cannot remember Now TrafficFlow r5v2 is nice but you only have 20 cars you can put in there. TrafficLoad I have never used before and the 3rd one i cannot remember made all my textures disappear if i panned my camera too fast. I also tried to use traffic flow and the 3rd one together and it was the same thing. So my question is will trafficload cause texture loss and does it spawn all cars?

This proves that everyone has their own tastes...don't like pursuits....holy crap. Also if you actually play your GTA game with a realistic bumper to bumper amount of cars how the heck do you manage that??? Plus how do you survive will GTA crappy drivers! lol

With ELSv6 and everything configured properly I have never had an ELS related crash and I have all police cars modded with high poly ELS models. Even with that large hove beach shootout call ELS won't crash. It slows framerate by a lot but never crashes. Even in pursuits with a ton of officers chasing. I see more often than not suggestions to remove ELS instead of making sure ELS is configured properly. I understand that some systems can handle it better than others but no ELS would almost be a deal breaker for me. I am so glad it works for me.

How does this help other people on the forum who may have the same issue or for future people who search and find this post.

Still leaves me with the question. Is it all randomized with fbi, noose, and enforcer vehicles and the number of noose officers that it sends in those cars are random?

Lol, ran across this in the GTA 4 on xbox 360 before buying GTA 4 for PC strictly for LCPDFR purposes. Sometimes I go to where those traffic stops are on purpose and "assist" the officer pulling him over....like by turning his ELS lights on:P

Before you quit using ELS because all of the people who are scared of it or can't use it on these forums make sure you have ELS file configured properly. I had NOOSE related crashing due to a crappy ELS car with ELS disabled. I replaced the car and enabled ELS and works like a charm. I love my NOOSE now.

When an officer stops you in real life he/she will type your plates into the computer or call on the radio and have dispatch do it. Makes it quicker and dispatch will also type in your location and what your doing so the other officers on duty can know where you are and what your doing from their computers. Other times officers on patrol will randomly check your plate # to see if anything comes up so they can stop you. In bigger cities you have cars equipped with cameras that can do plate recognition. So if a quick little push of a button to check the plates was available that would be cool. Another idea would be when you hit shift to pull a vehicle over it says in the top right hand corner a random plate number. You can use your computer right then and there to check the plate before getting out of your car. However, that could conflict with the random part of the traffic stop and what shows up from checking their name.

Hello everyone, Now that I fixed my issue with noose support I was wondering how it works. I was on foot in a shootout and I called them in. They responded in my FBI car with 2 noose officers. I called again and 2 more came in my noose car. Then a little bit after that I drove back to the scene and saw some of the officers just standing around when normally if I call police backup the police backup disappears after a while. Another instance I was in a pursuit and called in noose support and 4 noose officers responded in my FBI car. So this leave me with the basic question of how the noose backup operates. Probably a question for the developers. Thanks, HolyOJ

So I decided to come back to this thread after figuring out what the problem was. I knew my system could handle all the stuff I've thrown at it and I was right. The problem was a while back I installed a CVPI into my noose cruiser spot. I had issues with that paticular model causing freezing issues and quit using it. I also disabled ELS for it. So everytime I called in noose it would work until it called in the noose cruiser crashing my game. So make sure that you know what you modded and what you didnt so if you have issues after installing something you can remove it and see if it is a problem.
