I have used the search feature and found a few topics on vehicle handling but nothing that was able to benefit me. I recently installed a slick top crown vic and a slick top dodge charger to my noose and polpatriot slots. They obviously have different handling than my police 1 and 2 crown vic and charger. I want to make the noose and polpatriot drive and feel the exact same way my police 1 and 2 drive. Do i have to edit the vehicle or handling file in common/data or what?

Well did a virus scan and cleaned a bunch of crap off my computer. Fixed good as new. Runs super smooth.

Update drivers and the game is playable but no where near what it use to be. I still got some laggy spots that i didn't get before. Unfortunate. I hate computers.

Okay, about overheating. We have a radeon 6770 card installed and the guy at out local computer shop added a couple extra fans free of charge because he said with the small tower we could have overheating issues. Well it was working fine and one day when we shut down the computer and turned it back on we heard beeping noises and it wouldn't turn on. We eventaully got it turned on and now only put the computer to sleep and we haven't had any issues. My family member plays WOW and SWTOR while i use it for GTA 4. He hasn't complained and I seem to be the only one having issues. I'll try updating the drivers. The memory stick cannot be the issues since its just my game...but maybe overheating or issue with the card might be it.

The main problem I have it is a family members computer and I don't want to F it up. Where do I go to find the graphic card drivers. If it is a bad memory stick I guess when they get home to play their game it will be messed up too and we can go from there but they were playing all day with no issues on their own game. There are also so many youtube videos with suggestions to stop the lag and I cant tell which ones are the bullcrap don't do a thing solutions from the ones that will work. I am still stumped at why it would be fine one day and crap the next.

I posted this here because its not a LCPDFR support related topic. I have been playing LCPDFR for months now on high settings with no issues. The game ran smoothly and didn't have a choppy or laggy feel to it at all. I was playing all day yesterday and it ran nice and smooth. Today I get on and the game is super choppy. The loading music is skipping beats, when I drive its like watching a frame by frame movie or something. I am not sure what has happened. I never did any of those configuration to try and make it run better for low end computers because my computer isn't really low end and it always ran smoothly. I did try lowering all my settings just before I called it quits a few minutes ago but it still was choppy. If anyone has any ideas why my game out of the blue started slowing down please let me know. Game is unplayable like it is.

I am just happy I can play the way it is. Calling in a chopper or a NOOSE team would be a bonus but I am fearful that if I try to start from the beginning and re-install everything I may only waste HOURS of my time for no results. Took me a long time to get things where they are right now. Thanks for the help everyone.

I see a white screen with text but no background or anything else. I run GTA 4, LCPDFR .95RC2, ELSv6, Modded police 1, police 2, fbi, and polpatriot. traffic flow v5r2

-The light posts and everything else falling over like twigs when hit by vehicles...even when vehicles barely touch them like on traffic stops. -FATAL errors crashing my game when NOOSE or AIR SUPPORT is called -Citizens running around like fools and abandoning their vehicles when gunshots happen -Anything else you can think of that would help me stop RPGing everything after getting fed up with stupid GTA people. NOTE: I know most of these things are not LCPDFRs fault but i'm hoping their are other mods or ways to fix some of these issues. Thanks, HolyOJ

Do you have RAS or probable cause to search that ped? If not why are you frisking them? You may have a court battle later :devil:

Well I was glad to see it wasn't a bunch of kids trying to act like cops over their microphones from stuff they watched on television.

The latest traffic flow in my sig allows you to change the time it takes to reload the games memory. However you only can use 20 vehicles and i don't know if their position on the list changes anything. I customized my entire list of 20 cars to what I wanted to see in the game. I tried using traffic flow and control together and it worked GREAT!!! All sorts of different cars were going but my graphics would disappear if i moved my camera too fast...so i got rid of it.

Do you have RAS or probably cause to search the vehicle? If not then you don't need to search it ;P

You can use that car and use different .wtd files for skins. Or go in and edit the liveries of the .wtd file. Or create your own skins. I learned how to create skins in a few hours or less. youtube vids are your friend.

I see so many youtube videos and pictures of people using police cars that have every inch covered in text, numbers, and other garbage. HATE THOSE CARS!!! Love my setup. Mods have issues. They always do. The people who create mods have real lives and jobs. They do this in their free time while game designers get paid to make s#it like this. You sir are an ungrateful piece of garbage. I bought GTA 4 for LCPDFR alone. Only reason I bought this. Yes i have crashes, yes I would like to see more in the mod, no i won't get on a forum and B!tch at the developers to make it my way. I will wait for RC2 or .95 finished. It will have whatever they decided is needed in it at this time. GO LCPDFR TEAM , glad you choose to let this stay so everyone can laugh at the troll.

In simple terms you change the # value in the .ini file using notepad to make the light relfectons in the game change. This way when your car has blue and red lights they will flash and you will see the correct color reflection. Below is the only section you truly need to worry about to make your red/blue blue/blue red/red flashes look proper in the game. If you want to change the actually color of the light on your car...well you need to use a photo program to edit colors and the like. Color_Light1L = 0 Color_Light2L = 0 Color_Light3R = 0 Color_Light4R = 0

Well I replaced my NOOSE patriot with the standard GTA one. I called in NOOSE backup and they responded in the FBI car. It seems to work but occasionally I will get a fatal error when calling them in. Before I use to get a game not responding sort of deal. I have no issues with ELSv6. None....althought I don't know if my ocassional crashing is ELS related but hey I can play until I am bored usually if I avoid NOOSE altogether. ELSv6 Modded Police, Police 2, FBI high poly els cars Traffic Flow v5r2 LCPDFR .95RC1 LOVE IT!

I usually can play until I am bored. Sometimes a few minutes to hours. I have ELS cars in FBI, Police, police 2. The rest of my stuff is stock. All I can say is I rather play with ELS + Modded Cars + LCPDFR and get crashes than play with crappy cars, no realistic lighting, and no police mod.

To be honest I don't have any problems. I run ELSv6 with LCPDFR i get in large pursuits and everything. Works quite well. The only thing that messes up is the NOOSE team. I'll attempt to make the noose vehicles back to defaults. If anything ELS is way cooler than noose...i can live without

My polpatriot is modified to an els car. fbi, police, police 2 are also too

Hello everyone, I just wanted to see how many of you have issues with your game crashing when NOOSE is called in. For me it use to be 50/50 chance when NOOSE was called and finally tried to spawn to come on scene my game would crash. Now it is 100% chance. Even when not playing LCPDFR just driving around without having it turned on as soon as I get 4 stars and NOOSE comes at me I crash. I know .95RC1 is unstable regarding NOOSE but why is it that way when I'm not calling them in and it just happens as normal when I decided to play a bad guy on a killin spree :P

LOL....this post shouldn't be here. If you couldn't post you didn't do everything. Follow everything on the READ HERE FIRST thread in support forums. -DO everything it says and re-do everything it says if you think you already did it -Make sure you have a real legal copy of GTA 4 -Make sure you have latest update -Make sure you run as admin There is almost no possibly way the game won't work if you follow instructions to the letter.

Try playing with default cars... If that works with no problems you know ELS was the issue. If you were using ELSv6 some say v5 is more stable. I use v6 no issues. You need to do your own troubleshooting. Start with defaults. If it works then something you added doesn't like your game and don't use it or try to modify it to work.
