  1. I would like to see Need For Speed Most Wanted revisited. A bigger open world with more realistic handling and damage physics. For me that's the only racing game that exists, I dislike track racing, it's boring. (I don't consider the burnout games to be racing because the crash game modes were too much fun that I didn't race much.) I would also like to see a new Sims game on the same level as the sims 2. 3 was very disappointing and 4 sounds like a panic release, cars miraculously spawned from your pocket, the customisation for people was non-existent, and lots of other things were off. Essentially I want everything the sims 2 did correctly, added to the new generation of engines we have. (Yes I'm a sims fan, deal with it)
  2. Not a problem, this is why I remind people that the search function exists. Glad I could help.
  3. This forum has a search function. Please use it for future reference. I've taken to liberty to do it for you this time... GTA Police Tools by Sniper296 has a spotlight function. There is also a Flashlight and Spotlight mod on this forum (3 or 4 pages into the downloads) Links below: '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>> '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>> Hope this helps.
  4. I agree, it's pretty naff the lightbars being clear. I used to never touch it but this website I found is so bloody helpful http://gtabay.cba.pl/index_dokumentacja_gta4_en.htm Takes each line and tries to explain what it does. I'll have a mess with mine and see if I can find a fix for you, cause I don't mind breaking everything and starting again :) EDIT: Found a fix for the light bars and it may also fix the glass surrounds for the rear lights on your cars. Open enbseries.ini Scroll down to [CARWINDOWGLASS] You should see a value called "OpacityMultiplier" and it is default set to 0.05 I think. If you tweak this to a higher value (between 0 and 1) you will get more glass colour from the textures defined rather than no colour at all. I set mine to 1.0:
  5. I have similar problems. Especially the lightbars. If you did the installation to the letter like I did then I think it's safe to assume it's a design feature. Or a bug on the dev's end. Have you tried tweaking any of the values in the config at all to see if it helps? As for the missing mirror, that's definitely a reflection value screwing that over. EDIT Oh and I should note I'm running this on the 1.0.7.0 patch.

  8. If you are using v8 of ELS disabled it for all the vehicles in the slotcontrol file that are not customised (i.e all the vehicles which you didn't replace). Then also disable ELS for the AI for single player and multiplayer (in the ELS.ini file) temporarily to see if that helps.
  9. Hi, The LCPDFR error I see you get is the following: Error while processing script: AmbientScenarioManager: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. This is a pretty generic issue with 1.0c, doing a simple reloadscripts will subdue the issue. As for the WoutersCallouts errors, You'll need to take them to the WIP thread for that plugin, sadly he has obfuscated his code with values we can't read. Only he can help you.
  10. When you go through the installation you need to select where to install the mod to, otherwise it defaults to EFLC. If you want to install it to GTA IV it needs the latest GTA IV patch which is 1.0.7.0. While going through the automatic installer, when it says "select game directory" click browse and find your GTA IV directory (not EFLC) and click ok. BUT DON'T CLICK NEXT. You will now see the GTA IV filepath in the box next to the browse button. Go to the end of this file path and remove the part where it says "/LCPD First Response" So it should look like this: C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/grand theft auto iv/GTAIV This will then install the mod to the GTA IV directory (correct) and not to a folder inside the directory (incorrect).
  11. I'll eat anything because I'm a fat ba*****. Actually I'm not I'd snap in a strong wind, but still. Personal favourites are traditional italian food (not the rubbish you get at "italian restaurants" in the UK), traditional Spanish food, Moroccan food...Generally speaking I like traditional food from other countries.
  12. I think the point Stripe was trying to make is that had they have clearly seen it was a POLICE helicopter they would likely not have shone a laser at it knowing full well they would get caught. Whereas if they shone it at an ordinary helicopter, there is no guarantee they would be caught. Just wanted to clarify that for you. Regardless, people should be careful with lasers and not use them to be stupid with. The only time a laser is acceptable to be stupid with is if you happen to have a cat, and a vast amount of space in your living room. (No cats were harmed in this act...unless the cat is stupid and ran into a table or something) Oh and, generally speaking police helicopters have 3 people on board. Pilot, co-pilot and navigator/operator. (They do in the UK anyway, may differ depending on country I guess)
  13. LCPDFR already has drunk drivers and similar ambient scenarios, so I wont be adding anything that copies those. Maybe some other stuff I might think of. As for the callout idea, I'll think about it :) Yeah, I feel like giving out a little information so here you go everyone :) Features that are coming to 0.5 include: • Dynamic Road Traffic Collisions • Vehicle checks via radio • Secret Feature X involving trucks..... • Secret Feature Y involving...wood..... • Complete overhaul of the mod internally. • Lots of bug fixes. Please note, this list is not entirely representative of the 0.5 release. Some error may come up and mean a feature gets cut from the release etc. More details will be posted when the build is ready for release, so for now you will have to just wait to find out what the secret features are :P

  18. Happy birthday LCPDFR, it's been a hell of a ride so far, it's been an amazing experience to be part of the community whilst it's grown. I'm sure I'm not alone when I say here's to another 5 years *raises coffee cup*
  19. "Will Rockstar patch the crap out if GTA V for PC" So...in other words... Will Rockstar spend time fixing their game when things go wrong? Will they release free content for online each time? Is that what you're asking? Patches break mods yes, but they fix things in game and bring us new stuff. I personally wouldn't complain even if it makes my life difficult.
  20. MODERATOR NOTICE Moving topic from Computers & Technology to GTA IV Support Requests, it is currently unclear which mod is causing his issue
  21. The only thing that realistically the same is the rage engine. Everything else is relative. I have tried guys, I did try. But I saw nothing which glaringly said "you can control the wheel angle" I googled everything possible even with my knowledge of cars. I'll keep trying but I have other priorities to deal with first. But to my knowledge it isn't possible right now. Hope this clears up things for you guys. Ps. Don't get too excited that I'm trying.
  22. Please take into account the fact that LCPDFR does not officially support multiplayer of any kind, my advice is to limit the amount of scripts, vehicle or ped mods you're using and try to cut out any possible interferences between scripts.
  23. This has been suggested several times before already. '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>> '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>> '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>> As far as I am aware such a feature is not actually possible to make in GTA IV.
