ed1984 got a reaction from ModzWingzZ in Can't start game normally (through steam) or with rage pluginThe version of RAGE Plugin Hook you're using.
A: I'm using the latest rage plugin hook (as I downloaded it today)
The game version (Right click GTA5.exe, click Properties, and check the "File version" under the Details tab).
A: 1.0.393.4
Whether using the Steam or retail version of the game.
A: steam version
The steps you have already attempted. Including the ones above.
A: I downloaded the latest virtual studio (in fact, the rage hook) prompted me to download it.
Other info:
-I'm on windows 10.
-I can't even start GTAV on its own, i get a crash and don't even see a start screen. I get a :Launcher error, code 15: The game was not launched via the Steam client". But I can't start it with steam either. It just tells me "GTA has stopped working".
-The game was bought through steam.
-I have tried disabling antivirus.
-i have tried running it as admin.
thanks for any help

ed1984 got a reaction from DivineHustle in [WIP][REL] Assorted Callouts - Store Robbery, Petrol Theft, Bank Heist, Traffic Stop Backup Required, Stolen Police Vehicle, Person with a Knife, Solicitation, Organised Street Race, Immigrants In truck &More-I love the court system aspect. My fav thing about is that it essentially gives you feedback of how well you did on the actual call (ie how many pieces of evidence you missed, and what happened to the 2nd dude that run off in the opposite direction and that you didn't catch). Second, literally adds role-play material. (ie I'm charging this guy with this, this, and that, and he'll probably get "x" amount of years).

ed1984 got a reaction from EvilJackCarver in Want to set up my provinces police jurisdictions...Ah ok. That makes sense. Thank you for info!

The patrol units, if configured with a police ped in them, will react like an ambient cop. If you shoot randomly near them outside of LSPDFR, they'll respond. If you're in an LSPDFR pursuit near them, they'll join the pursuit. Those vehicles are merely ambient cops, not unlike the cops in GTA 4 that randomly patrol. LSPDFR spawns a backup unit when you tell the game you need backup, regardless of if there's a unit that'll suffice for backup already spawned and in sight.
-
If you're talking about cars on the streets as ambient vehicles, you could set up a few patrol zones with LEJS.
As for backup, I think you'd have to use an external mod to get RCMP around, say, City Hall instead of just making it a 50/50 chance of calling backup anywhere in the city to spawn an RCMP cruiser, unless you set the RCMP cruiser to the NOoSE slot.

ed1984 got a reaction from s0ner in Replace model police3It exists. Just follow that path GTA V/update/x64/dlcpacks/patchday4ng/dlc.rpf/x64/levels/gta5/vehicles.rpf and you will see police3.ytd, police3.yft, and police3 inside. Then simply replace those police3 files with the Ford interceptor files.

ed1984 reacted to madmax24 in LSPDFR 0.3 - Hot PursuitLooking good fellas. Are you all overhauling the pullover script at all? I know that one major issue currently in game is that most pullovers still leave the suspect vehicle typically in the roadway and usually impeding traffic.
Thanks and keep up the good work!

ed1984 reacted to Sam in LSPDFR 0.3 - Hot PursuitThis is the fifth part of our LSPDFR 0.3 preview series. For more information about the background behind 0.3, check out the previous installments here: http://www.lcpdfr.com/forums/forum/880-news-updates/
While we've already added an amazing amount of cool new features to 0.3, an update to LSPDFR, or even LCPDFR, wouldn't truly be an update without some further refinement of the pursuit system. It is, in many ways, one of the largest and most important parts of the modification and with 0.3, we've been taking the time to make a number of small but noticeable improvements. From more cautious cops to more daring suspects, we think you'll really enjoy pursuits in 0.3.
And in a refreshing change - I think for this update, we'll let the pictures do the talking...
Allow me to quickly note as well. No, we don't have a release date for 0.3. Releasing a new version of LSPDFR is actually quite the mammoth of a task - one that you can't simply put a date on. We're putting out these previews as it is something that the majority of our fans asked for, and it gives us a great opportunity to get feedback on the modification as we develop it.
Will your game be rocking LSPDFR 0.3 soon? Absolutely, but we're not quite ready to define exactly when that will be.

ed1984 got a reaction from thegreathah in The low rider updateYou have to wait for a new ragehook plugin to come out..prob couple days. When a GTA V update comes out it ruins LSPDFR.

Now we just wait for it to come out!
