Will there ever be a LCPDFR Full Release (ie v 1.0.0)? It seems that we're inching closer to the release of GTA V (at which point, most people will have left GTA IV) and yet we're still on RC 2. This isn't one of those threads demanding the release or demanding a release date, just wondering if we'll ever even get a release. I mean, we have like 5 months or so until the release of V and I just don't see a full release ever being released. Or I might be completely wrong, and they might release 1.0.0 tomorrow. So, will there be a full release before the release of V?

Hey Abraxas, I'm getting an error when starting my game. I have the latest scripthook. The error is as follows (or something along these lines): Error in script 'vDH.Phelper" Error during PerFrameDrawing in script 'vDH.Phelper'; some other stuff here I couldn't exactly copy down the entire thing as it was in game and I couldn't take a screenshot. The sound that you get when you complete a mission was constantly going off. My health bar and armor bar kept switching places, and there was white text saying "Car not found". I've never had any trouble with your mods but this is making the game unplayable ;(

I've always found that Intel i5 processors are great power for their money. I don't have much experience with AMD processors though.

You've got a valid point there. I do understand that more people may get the message by including him as an example in there, and I am in no way condoning what he has done, but I just felt that all of it was a bit unprofessional. With regards to that, I also understand things from your point of view. Perhaps LCPDFR is a more casual, personal community so there is no need to be business like as on many larger forums. That said, I'd like to thank you as well for being able to reply in an orderly manner, unlike many other moderators (not on LCPDFR, yet) who seem to take everything negative to heart. In fact, I could really care less because I wasn't involved at all. My problem wasn't that people were saying mean things about him, but that these things were being said on a thread that should be more professional and mature. I think everybody could be a tad more mature about this, including staff members. I'm not defending RMC here, but I don't see a reason to make a public announcement and purposely ridicule him. It's quite immature and unprofessional. If you needed to make a notice about people making multiple accounts or anything else listed in this topic, it could have been done without mentioning the incident. The staff are supposed to impartial - you're really not supposed to draw negative attention towards anybody. This thread shouldn't be about how awful a person is or what they've done and how they've been punished but rather about the official message about having multiple accounts and anything else covered. If you lot want to gossip about somebody, perhaps think about doing elsewhere? Personally, I'd like to see staff remain impartial and professional and not get personally involved in affairs that require a more business like approach. Either stop the gossip on threads that should be PSAs or make another thread to chit chat about whoever and whatever RMC did. /rant

I've been playing IV for a very long time, so I can find any place in the city and go to it without a problem. Heck, I can look at any picture and know where it was taken! I used to be able to do with GTA:SA, but I haven't touched that in a long time.

You have one... what? HDMI cord? Anyways, the answer to your problems is probably what the other dude said - too high or too low screen resolution.

None of those things would cause sporadic frame drop. Viruses wouldn't just pop up then go away. If he had a virus it would cause constant computer issues. Anti virus software shouldn't conflict with the game either. As for turning the computer off, that may actually be a good idea. If you're like me and you put the computer to sleep/hibernate instead of shutting it down then you could have a shitload of system processes running which may mess you up a bit. I suggest to turn it off (not restart) then turn it back on. This way you're sure that all system processes have been killed. And for the last suggestions, I'm not exactly sure if that would work or not. It may, may not. The thing that must be understood is that GTA IV is a crappy port to PC. It doesn't work well at all, even on beast computers. That's just the things you'll need to put up with when playing this.

I know it caused by IV, but why not just put the ramp elsewhere? As well, if you can only see the trees in EFLC, why put them in? :S

Just played for about an hour and I got no framerate drops or lag spikes. It's an awesome HUGE map, but there are quite a few bugs with it. For one, many times crossing the bridge into the area is bugged. It involves you triggering the stunt jump and then going in slowmo for about 30 seconds. As well, there are MANY (and I mean MANY) invisible trees around the grass areas. Oh, and avoid the interior of the mountain. I got lost for a solid 30min :( (Don't actually avoid it, but make sure you know where you are!)

Last time I went bowling my little brother nearly broke my toe. Suffice to say, I don't bowl anymore...
