  1. I must agree the GPU is quite low-end. You may have some difficulty playing games with it.
  2. Seeing as how it was never a legal request, the PD would probably not go after him or LCPDFR since it would cost them too much money over a relatively silly matter.
  3. I too agree that V6 is much simpler, but if you manage to understand V7 it's quite good. It's shockingly stable, doesn't affect performance as much as V6 and allows you to tweak many, many more options.
  4. And make sure Num lock is on, otherwise you wont be able to navigate.
  5. On the topic of keeping it short: if it's over 10 seconds, many people will leave. Long intros are boring. Really, all you need is your channel name, and thats about it. I'd keep gameplay out of it, because if you're going to make a lot of videos, viewer will get bored of waiting for 30 seconds and watching the same gameplay over and over.
  6. Urgh you lot are lucky. Emergency services here in Toronto aren't keen at all about ride alongs. Police, fire, EMS, all of them have pretty strict restrictions against ride alongs :( Only people who would ever get to go are the students studying police related courses in university, and even then its gotta be approved by somebody very high up the ladder.
  7. In the second quote where SCSDDeputy says: You agree with him and say "Thank you lol..." Therefore, you agreed with him being a 12 year old little boy or a 40 year old virgin. kthxbai
  8. So, lemme get this straight. You reply saying that what you said was just a joke, then you proceed to call him a 12 year old kid or a 40 year old virgin. So, was it a joke or not, because you're kinda setting a double standard here...
  9. Rockstar is a brilliant company and they've had loads of success with the GTA titles in the past. I think that a PC version is definitely planned and will be released several months after the console release. They do this because the know that anybody who is a fan of GTA on PC will probably buy the console version first, then purchase the PC version a few months later. They make double to profit over just releasing them both at the same time, because PC owners will just get the PC version. Max Payne had both released at the same time because R* knew that Max Payne wasn't the type of game you'd buy twice, so they just released it for everybody at the same time.
  10. I doubt it'll be too big... Current gen consoles are going to need to run it :P Most gamers already have their HDDs full of stuff over the past 7 or so years of gaming on these consoles, so Rockstar better make sure that it's not too large.
  11. Unmarked Pontiac G8. Looks like a luxury, sporty car - in reality is me and my drug team rolling up on your and your homies. http://gtapolicemods.com/showthread.php?8131-Unmarked-Pontiac-G8
  12. I'd like to see a version released that doesn't use gradients at all. I find that they kinda look comical on police cars, and a tad unprofessional - of course this is my own personal opinion. Having just a hard line between black and white would make it look a little more pro, and perhaps a bit more intimidating. As well, I'd like to see a redesigned badge piece. Many police departments don't have their badges on the car, but rather a crest of some sort like this:
  13. ELS is a definite must have. It allows for MUCH MUCH MUCH more realistic lights.
  14. When playing hardcore, getting hit by an Uzi on a traffic stop is certain death. It's pretty bad ;[
  15. http://gtapolicemods.com/showthread.php?4199-Reverse-Italics Scroll down to "neolux's" post, and follow those steps.
  16. Looks shockingly similar to this:
  17. There one police lighting mod, that I can't remember the name of, that uses lights that look like the default GTA IV lights and doesn't cause the door glitch or car god mode. If I remember I'll post a link. Remembered: heres the link http://gtapolicemods.com/downloads.php?do=file&id=2178
  18. Things like redirecting traffic into another lane, closing a road etc... are impossible. The best you can do is stop cars in their place (and let a lot of traffic build behind those cars) or place objects that cars cannot pass through (again causing mad traffic issues). You can't have a mod that will tell the cars to use another road instead of the one you closed.
  19. I've never heard that EFLC is more stable & more smooth than GTA IV. You sure about that? If thats true, I'ma end up getting EFLC since I'd probably be able to run that well.
  20. How the heck do you get 30 FPS with your computer? What I'm seeing online (AMD E-450 1.65 GHz with a AMD Radeon HD 6320) doesn't seem to be something that'd give 30 frames. Share your secrets with us!
