[View 6] Two Vehicle Collision Before Airport Turn Off
From the album: LCPDFR Scenarios
Here the back of the Charger can be seen, and it shows extensive damage, from fleeing from the hit & run. At approximately 11 PM, a black Dodge Durango, was speeding down the Broker Dukes Expressway, after fleeing from a routine traffic stop. The driver swerved to go to the airport and attempt to flee Liberty City, but instead ended up hitting the barrier separating the expressway from the airport turn off. A few minutes later, a White Dodge Charger involved in and earlier hit & run, came speeding down the expressway, and ended up rear ending the Durango. A passing taxi driver noticed this, and called 911. Officer Knight, being the closest to the location, was dispatched to the scene. As Knight arrived he could clearly see the driver of the Durango, was still in his vehicle, but the driver of the Charger had fled the scene. No fires or risk of fire being present, Knight had Liberty City Ambulance dispatched to the scene. L.C. Ambulance transported the Durango's driver to L.C. Hospital where he is currently listed in critical condition. In need of Traffic Control, and being in the dept's district, two EPS Traffic Control Units were dispatched to provide containment around the scene. and prevent citizens from hitting emergency vehicles, or emergency personnel. Knight began surveying the scene, to look for anything that may be evidence. He found a few patches of blood farther back from the scene, and a wallet. Knight looked at the driver's license in the wallet and the license identified the owner of the wallet to be Jim Wilson. A few minutes later the same taxi driver who had called in the accident, showed up at the scene (Not shown in photo) and had happened to get everything on the dashcam of his taxi. He showed the video to Knight, which determined that the driver of the Charger had bailed out before he hit the Durango, and then made a run for it. The dashcam also showed the driver jumping out of the Charger and something falling out of his pocket (The wallet). Now knowing the driver's identity (Jim Wilson) he is now wanted by the EPS, RCMP, and LCPD. He faces charges of: - Reckless Driving - Hit &Run - Fleeing the Scene of an Accident - And Attempted Murder The Durango and Charger were both towed to the EPS Impound Yard, where damage on the Durango is estimated to be at approx. $5,000 and the damage on the Charger is estimated to be at approx. $3500. -
