Introduction
This plugin aims to change one of the most unrealistic parts about LSPDFR - the taser. As it currently stands now, the taser will always successfully stun the suspect up until a certain threshold, where the taser is then out of range and ineffective. This plugin has two options - either a user-defined probability of the taser being effective regardless of the range, or a probability depending on how far away the taser is from the suspect.
Requirements
LSPDFR 0.4.9 (Or Newer, if applicable)
Most Recent Version of RagePluginHook
Most Recent, Legal Copy of GTAV (Steam, Epic, or Retail All Work)
Installation Instructions
Unzip the file. Copy ALL of the Contents of the “Grand Theft Auto V” folder into your MAIN “Grand Theft Auto V” or “GTAV” Directory, which contains “GTAV.exe” in it.
Features
All these features can be customized and enabled/disabled in the RealisticTaser.ini Config File.
Taser Success Probability - Specify the probability of the taser being successful, regardless of how far away the player is from the Suspect
Taser Success Based on Range - The probability of the taser being successful depends on how far the player is from the Suspect. A detailed description is below.
Scale Factor - Change how the Taser behaves based on your “feel” for the game.
Limit Reloads - Limit the taser to a certain amount of shots (default is 2) as in real life. Reload Animations can be enabled/disabled.
Replenish Taser in Vehicle - The Taser will replenish to the specified amount of shots every time the player enters a Police Vehicle
UI - A basic UI indicating how many shots are left in the Taser, similar to the Ammo Counter for other weapons. Can be adjusted or disabled entirely.
Dry Fire - The Taser will produce a Dry Fire (click) sound if fired when not reloaded.
How the Plugin Works
As mentioned, there are two main options with this plugin. A detailed description of how each option works is below:
User-defined Taser Success Probability
Using the “Taser Success Probability” option in the Config file, you can specify the probability that the taser will be effective, regardless of how far the player is from the suspect, provided the suspect is within the default taser range. Setting this to 0 means the taser will never work, and 100 will always work (provided the suspect is in range).
By default, this is set to 69% (nice), the average taser effectiveness reported by Police Departments in 12 major U.S. cities in 2015, according to a 2019 NPR article titled “Despite Widespread Use, Police Rate Tasers As Less Effective Than Believed”.
Range-defined Taser Success Probability
This is, in my opinion, the better option. When “Taser Success Based on Range” is set to true in the Config file, the chance of an effective taser deployment will depend on how far away the player is from the suspect. This is the default setting.
Using the above data from the same article from both New York and Fort Worth, it is clear that taser effectiveness is far higher when the suspect is between 3 feet (1 meters) and 10 feet (3 meters) away. Effectiveness drops significantly after this threshold. Extrapolating this data results in the following graph (note the probability of success (%) is the y-axis, and the range (in meters) is the x-axis.
If you are curious, this results in the function
y = 60.7539 / x^0.824732 - 12.821 where x is the range between the Suspect and Officer in meters. Of course, this is only an approximation based on yearly data from just two Police Departments, but it’s what I went with. This means that you will have to be quite close to the suspect in order for the taser to be reliable, which is true to life. The taser may still work at farther distances, but its reliability will drop off considerably quickly as demonstrated in the above graph.
GTAV Distance Scaling - Important!
An important note, GTAV does not have the same distance scale as real life (distances in GTAV are much larger than they would feel in real life). Think about how you can easily drive over 150 km/h on a city street in GTAV, but it seems far slower than 150 km/h would actually be. The setting “Scale Factor” will multiply the distance between the player shooting the taser and the suspect to compensate for this. The default is 3, higher values will increase the taser’s effective range, lower values will decrease it. You can adjust this to what feels realistic and natural for you.
How to Use
This is an LSPDFR plugin. It is placed in the Plugins/LSPDFR folder. It will be available once you load LSPDFR and go on duty. This plugin originally was intended as an RPH standalone plugin, however there was a bug that seemed to occur whenever LSPDFR was loaded. I may release the standalone version of this plugin in the future if people request it.
Bug Reporting and Requests
Please report all bugs or issues so that I can work on them. Please Do NOT report bugs in the review of the plugin. Instead, please leave a message on my discord server in the bug reports channel, or a comment on the plugin page of LSPDFR with a concise description of the problem and a solution if you have one. If you have any improvements for the plugin, or suggestions for future plugins/callouts, please also leave a message in my discord.
Support
For the best support, please either use the support channel on my server, or the official RagePluginHook Discord Server.
Support the Effort 🙂
If you enjoy these plugins please share them with your friends and leave a positive review, and report bugs so the experience can be better for everyone. Also, it would mean a lot if you consider supporting me on PayPal, https://bit.ly/3iBmnsn.

alrightdude reacted to t0y for a file, Los Santos Police Department Mega Pack [ELS]Hi ladies. So now that ScriptHook has updated it's release time. This is a pack I have been working on for the better part of the last month in a half, and I am actually very proud of it. Frequently Asked Questions:
Q: Why r ur lights so shiny pls help :(
A: I use RadianceV to make my lights bright, you will need something like this or another mod like it to make your lights as bright as mine.
Q: Can you please make an ELS pack for my own personal town?
A: Not even a little sorry bb
Q: How do I install X?
A: I tried including the most in depth installation instructions I could find, but I know when I was new to LSPDFR didnt know anything about installing stuff, so if you have any questions you are feel free to comment with it. There are also instructions though which again, I tried making as in depth as possible to help you out.
Q: X isn't working why?
A: You may be doing something wrong, or I may have fucked something up. If you do find a bug or have a question please comment with a screenshot or video to give me a better idea of what is wrong and I will get back to you.
Q: My lightbar and windows are tinted :(
A: So there is a way to remove the tint from automatically spawning on most vehicles, which ive done for almost every model but sometimes it doesnt work like for example in the pranger or FBI slots, so you will need to use the vehicles.meta to turn that off, it also includes better handling. Thanks for downloading ;) Please report the bugs in the comments before posting a review about them, it may be a misunderstanding or just an easy fix. Enjoy!

alrightdude reacted to Yard1 for a file, Better Wanted Level System Police SpawningBetter Wanted Level System Police Spawning is a modification of the dispatch.meta file responsible for controlling what police units spawn during wanted levels.
There is 20% chance of a female cop / deputy (ratio based on official LAPD statistics). Additionaly, I've added new variations to the Marines spawned at Fort Zancudo during wanted levels, Police Boats are now manned by Coast Guards and one Buzzard with marines now spawns at Fort Zancudo at 5 stars. I am not going to add the Army - I find that unrealistic. If you want the Army, check out Custo's The Sixth Star mod.
--------------------------------------
Installation:
Install with OpenIV to update.rpf/common/data. This will prevent you from playing online, so make backups (I'd make a backup of the entire update.rpf to be sure). Also, if there is an update, you'll have to install this again.

This download is exclusive to LCPDFR.com.
Feel free to edit the file, just make sure to credit me. However, don't re-upload if you have not changed anything.

This callout pack is about callouts that not only require your help, but also the help of the other emergency services. You have to keep track of everything and coordinate the operation.
Despite the name and the thumbnail the callouts are intended to still be played as a cop. More information can also be found in the readme.

Currently this pack features seven callouts:

Gamemodes
Gamemodes determine wether you want to play as a police officer (standard) or as a firefighter. Both gamemodes contain some unique features however the Firefighter-gamemode is in a sort-of alpha version. This idea came as an inpsiration of @GeoffreyGamer's showcase of my callout pack (Version 0.1.0.0) - a big thanks to him for this and the valuable feedback 🙂

alrightdude reacted to Kevlar Stripes for a file, Updated Traffic Signals (LED and Housing)About;
This is a simple texture mod for Liberty City traffic signals to be clean (no posters, stickers, flyers) and have a LED appeal to them. The traffic and crosswalk signals housing can be changed to a fresh yellow or complete black to give a more modern appeal to them, and it is a nice change to see from what we are used to. Anyone is capable of creating this simple modification, so do not worry about crediting and such. Now, if only I can figure out how to get the signals to be on the correct side of the intersections...
Included in the download is;
Yellow LED Traffic Light Variant Black LED Traffic Light Variant Updated Crosswalk Hand and Walk Textures Original Backups A readme
Install;
Open your GTAIV Dirrectory, or if you wish, OpenIV *Bing-Bong* Please proceed to the highlighted route; pc/data/maps/props/roadside Replace the traffic.img with the one provided. This will change the traffic signals and poles. *Bing-Bong* Please make a U-Turn, and head to; pc/textures Replace the fxprojtex.wtd with the one provided. This will change the crosswalk icons. No further interaction with files is needed from here.
( I ) If you wish to revert the changes, there are original backup files provided.
( I ) This mod does not edit any scripts rendering the chance of a crash to be impossible.

alrightdude reacted to aebian for a file, Silencer - RPH Plugin (ATTACH / REMOVE A SILENCER WITH EASE)Greetings,
This plugin will allow you to attach a silencer to the weapon you have currently selected. If your weapon already has a silencer attached it will be removed.
GTA will also make a little animation for attaching and removing said attachment. If the weapon has no silencer by default (not all guns have this) simply nothing will happen.
Also only the current selected weapon using the weapon wheel will be affected, this adds some realism to it.
Default Key to use is: LShift + F10
You can customize this with the included KISilencer.ini (Settings file).

alrightdude reacted to PNWParksFan for a file, Police TapeIt's Los Santos... people get shot, people get run over, things catch fire... and it's usually all your fault. Eventually, you need to do something to keep nosy bystanders out of your business. Ever wished you could quickly close off a freeway so no cars can get by? Ever wanted to block off the scene of a dead body so that curious pedestrians couldn't tell who exactly shot them? Perhaps you just want to peacefully do some construction work, but oblivious drivers keep driving into your work zone. Or maybe you're fighting a fire, and need to stop rubberneckers from wandering into harm's way.
No matter what you do in Los Santos, Police Tape is here to keep everyone else out of your way.
Featuring dynamic tape with cloth physics that blows in the wind
Aim-and-click tape and barrier placement lets you attach tape to any surface
Built-in advanced traffic control stops even the stupidest San Andreas drivers
Ped path blocking prevents most ambient peds from crossing police lines, while allowing backup, medics, coroners, and suspects to keep going
Full API lets plugin and callout creators add tape to their own scenes
Tape import/export system lets you save your tape and include saved tape scenes in callouts
Tape management menu to delete individual strands of tape and manage traffic control
Customize your tape texture to get different text or patterns
LML support to install scripts and police tape model files, DLC option if you prefer
Join the Parks Benefactor Program to join my exclusive Discord server and get early access to mod updates and new mods like this one! KNOWN ISSUE: The tape sometimes droops through the ground, especially when there is not much wind or with longer pieces of tape. User more barriers and shorter pieces of tape to help reduce this effect. This is due to the limitations of what cloth physics can do in zmodeler/GTA V. Version 2.0 adds static tape models which do not sag as an option. You can choose for each strand whether to use static or dynamic tape.
KNOWN ISSUE: If you are having issues with changing the keybindings in the INI not taking effect in the game, add a single blank line at the top of your INI file.
KNOWN ISSUE: You may need to install a modified gameconfig.xml, depending on your version of GTA V. If you already have a modified gameconfig.xml to support add-on vehicles, you should be OK. If you haven't before and your game crashes on startup after installing Police Tape, you need to install a custom gameconfig. You can use the following LML package to install a compatible Gameconfig file:

alrightdude reacted to NWpilot07 for a file, Typical CalloutsTypical Callouts 1.5
Thank you for checking out my first callout pack! This is my first time creating any sort of addon for LSPDFR so I hope you enjoy it.
I created this callout pack because I noticed a significant lack of callout packs with typical everyday calls that won't end up in a pursuit or a shootout. I personally prefer to try and simulate real world policing as closely as possible so I decided to create a pack that would introduce callouts that police officers generally do get on a daily basis.
A quick note: I just want to say a quick thank you to everyone for downloading the pack and giving me helpful feed back 🙂 It's much appreciated and I'm still mindblown at how well this callout pack has done so far. With the new update, I know there will probably be some bugs and crashes, so if you experience any please write a comment or PM me so I can get it figured out and fixed. Also, as far as new content goes there won't be much more in the future for Typical Callouts as I'm moving towards creating a callout pack with K9 callouts. I will still make fixes and release those updates for Typical Callouts, and I might add a callout or two when the inspiration hits sometime in the future, so trust me I'm not abandoning it 😉 . And finally, if you enjoyed the callout pack it would be greatly appreciated if you left a small donation using the PayPal button by the Download button. As much as I enjoy making callouts, the only reason I have so much free time to do this is my job has been, and still is closed down due to COVID. Any donation would go a long way and be immensely appreciated. Anyways, thank you for reading my little spiel, and I hope you enjoy the callouts!
Callouts:
DISCLAIMER: All callouts have a varying number of spawn locations, if you attempt to force a callout while out of range it will not work. This is to avoid receiving callouts for Los Santos while on the other side of the map and vice versa. If you would like to change the range of each callout, this can be done in the ini file.
(NEW!) Traffic Stop Backup: Here it is, the highlight of the update! Traffic Stop Backup has always been one of my favorite callouts from Albo1125's Assorted Callouts pack, so I decided to create my own rendition to add some more variety to the available traffic stop backup callouts. This callout features 20 Unique Dialogues and Situations, as well as Over 500 Spawn Locations. This callout ended up taking 75% of the time I spent working on this update but I'm really happy with the way it turned out and I hope you all feel the same way.
(NEW!) 3 New Speed Traps: Speed trap was one of the callouts in desperate need of a rewrite, and in the process of doing so I added 3 New Locations in addition to the original in Los Santos. You can now operate speed traps in Los Santos County, Blaine County, and On a Highway. The mechanics of the speed traps have also been completely reworked to avoid crashes and certain bugs. This callout also features Customizable Partner Cars, allowing you to set which vehicle will spawn for your partner in each respective jurisdiction (set in the ini).
(NEW!) Towed Vehicle Disturbance: In this new callout you will be tasked with responding to reports of a possible altercation between a tow truck driver, and the supposed owner of the vehicle he's attempting to tow. This callout contains many possible situations and outcomes, as well as 5 locations spanning Los Santos.
(Updated) Recently Stolen Vehicle: A caller reported that their vehicle has just been stolen, proceed to the last known location and attempt to locate the stolen car! New features after the update include: A search area which updates at random intervals, you now have to work a bit to find the vehicle 😉 , more realistic driving speed for suspect vehicle, and if you fail to locate the suspect within a certain amount of time the suspect will be lost.
(Updated) Trespassing at Taxi Yard: A citizen has been reported trespassing on Los Santos Taxi Co. property, proceed to the location and arrest the suspect if necessary. Fixed issues with dialogue, there are now 2 possible situations for this callout.
Citizen in Distress: There have been multiple calls reporting a distressed citizen, proceed to the last reported location and see if the citizen requires assistance.
Welfare Check: A caller has requested a welfare check on someone they know, proceed to their residence and ensure they don't require any assistance.
911 Hang Up: Someone called 911 and hung up under potentially suspicious circumstances. It could be a simple mistake, but the caller may be in danger! Proceed to the phone's last known location and investigate!
Silent Alarm Call: A home security system with a silent alarm just called 911, make your way to the residence and find out why it went off.

alrightdude reacted to OJdoesIt for a file, Ambient Emergency Response - CustomizationThis mod creates random emergency vehicle responses that will come pass the player. The player should shut down any major intersection to let the emergency vehicles pass by.
Courtesy of @lttrbmb
Make sure to put AmbientEmergencyResponse.dll and AmbientEmergencyResponse.ini into \Plugins\LSPDFR folder.
Take a look at the INI at least once to make sure you are satisfied with the settings.
You can enter cheat-code "ambientresponse" to force an ambient response.

alrightdude reacted to AwsumTurtle for a file, AwsumCallouts | New Pack!Discontinued.
I have decided to discontinue my callout pack because i lost the files for the project. It is still downloadable but might not be that great since its full of bugs.
I will also be returning with a new callout pack very soon, that will actually be better than this one!
A pack I created while i was bored, Currently we have 4 Callouts:
- Homeless Disturbance
- Brandishing Knife
- Bank Heist Car Being Driven Away
- Stolen Police Vehicle
While I have tried to fix most of them and optimize them well, There still tends to be bugs.
I sure hope you report them in the comments, Thank you!

✨ Features of UnitedCallouts
🎮 Variation
This plugin introduces a wide range of unique and dynamic callouts with multiple dialogue options to enable meaningful interaction with suspects and involved parties.
Every callout is designed with multiple possible outcomes and endings, significantly increasing replayability and overall realism.
The current release includes 25 varied and realistic callouts for the LSPDFR modification, with a strong focus on authenticity and scenario diversity.
Many callouts feature scenario-specific vehicles and weapons, ensuring that each situation feels distinct and context-appropriate within gameplay.
All callouts support multiple potential locations to prevent repetition and enhance immersion.
Certain scenarios are restricted to logical, real-world locations to maintain realism.
For example, an apartment burglary will only occur at residential buildings, while altercations between individuals will not take place at police stations.
A built-in location selection system dynamically chooses callout locations near the player, ensuring seamless integration into patrol gameplay.
📝 Customization
This plugin includes configurable hotkeys for dialogue interaction and for manually ending the active callout:
"Y" Initiates dialogue with a suspect or involved person. (A notification will appear when dialogue interaction is available.)
"END" Forces the current callout to conclude. (Useful in situations where manual intervention is required.)
All hotkeys can be fully customized through the configuration file to match individual preferences.
Players can enable or disable specific callouts via configuration settings.
This allows for a tailored gameplay experience and the exclusion of scenarios the player prefers not to encounter.
Option to enable/disable AI backup responding to a callout with the player.
This system ensures realistic unit deployment based on the situation. For example, local patrol units will not respond to large-scale gang conflicts, while pursuits may trigger local support units and air assistance instead of specialized teams.
For performance optimization, this feature can be disabled on lower-end systems by setting the option to false in the configuration file.
🔔 Stay up to Date
UnitedCallouts includes an integrated version control system that notifies players when a new update is available.
While older versions may remain playable, using outdated builds is done at the player’s own risk. Updating to the latest available version is always strongly recommended for stability and compatibility.
UnitedCallouts may have issues when LSPDFR gets an update that changes parts of its API. Compatibility updates will be addressed as required to ensure continued functionality.

alrightdude reacted to BadMusician for a file, DisarmDisarm 1.1 is a plugin which adds a small but very nice detail into the game. From now on, pedestrians will drop their equipped weapon when shot in the arm holding it.
Installation couldn't be easier. Just copy the contents of 'GTA V Folder' to your game's installation folder. In case you have any questions, consider reading the ReadMe.txt
You can also ask your questions in the comments section. Please do not use the reviews to ask for support.
If you enjoy this or any of my mods, you can consider supporting me on Patreon (clickable). This is not required by any means. A simple download is good enough. You can also leave a review if you want.

alrightdude reacted to Valkatox for a file, RP-X = Roleplay Expanded (StopThePed and CompuLite Modification)What is Roleplay Expanded (RP-X)?
Roleplay Expanded is a project for LSPDFR that uses Bejoljo's 'StopThePed' and 'CompuLite' mods.
It is a mix of questions, charges, citations and items that all come together to create a new immersive role play experience for LSPDFR in the RP-X project!
All of these additions are designed to work together in order to make each interaction an interesting and varied experience.
What are some features of Roleplay Expanded (RP-X)?
Well firstly... color coded charges! See at a glance if you're dealing with a convicted felon by their arrest records!
Some crimes can be a misdemeanor or a felony. Documentation manuals are ready and waiting to help you decide what you should charge that suspect with.
You're not going to find any items here that will just tell you if they're stolen or not. You'll have to ask questions and figure out if a crime has been committed.
Wait... did that suspect just swallow a baggie!? That'll be a charge of tampering with evidence for them. And a ride in an ambulance!
The badge looks real, and when confronted about it he says he's actually working in law enforcement. It's time to call up "his agency" and check!
Just by simply possessing the badge doesn't mean he's impersonating a cop. You'll have to investigate in order to get to the bottom of this one.
The same goes for that expensive watch you just found on that last suspect. Is it really theirs? Questioning them about it might even give you a confession of guilt!
Do you have probable cause to search that vehicle? Can you smell narcotics or notice something that makes you suspicious?
If not you'll have to ask for the driver's permission. If they don't give you consent, maybe you'll call for a K9 unit to sniff around the vehicle.
It may be tempting to search every vehicle, but you need to follow the correct procedure officer!
With a newly designed narcotics system, they will come in three 'weight' categories. "Light", "Medium" and "Heavy".
If you catch someone with a light amount they'll get a possession charge.
But if they also have a bunch of money or empty baggies on them. Then maybe you'll try and push that up to a distribution charge? It's your call.
Medium will be distribution. That paper bag filled with baggies and all that cash? It's not going to be a simple possession charge that's for sure!
Heavy will be a trafficking charge. Those blocks of powder on the back seat turned out to be a Schedule I narcotic, and they're worth some serious money, and serious time!
And they were also coming in from out of state and had DOA/DEA agents arrest them to boot? The prosecutor will be going for a Federal Trafficking charge!
Also.... Who is it you're talking to exactly?
Are you speaking with a gang member? Someone you've just arrested? A witness?
Multiple lines of dialogue to make each encounter unique!
What is it that you're speaking about?
Are you demanding an explanation from the driver for what you've just found in their vehicle search?
Are you making a call to see if that person has a valid prescription for those pills as they claim?
Are you asking that DUI suspect why they were driving in the first place?
Are you telling someone you're entitled to search their vehicle because of their probation conditions?
Are you asking that person why they have a police badge and ID in their vehicle?
Are you telling the person to get in your vehicle so that you can take them off the highway?
Are you asking a witness if they need you to call them a cab home?
Are you asking that driver why they decided it was a good idea to smash through a fence when you were pulling them over?
Or are you just telling them to pick a better place next time?
All this and much more!
This is actively worked on and so will have regular content updates.
Feel free to give feedback and suggestions for what you'd like to see in upcoming versions! This is a community orientated project, so your suggestions are more than welcome.
Many additions have already been added from the suggestions of other community members.
Thank you for reading and have fun!
Also a big thank you for all the downloads and comments.

alrightdude reacted to HazyTube for a file, Force A CalloutIntroduction
Do you also miss that feature from LSPDFR 0.3 where you had a keybinding to start a random callout? This plugin brings it back!
Now you don't need to go to the interaction menu to start a callout anymore.
You can also change your availability by pressing Z by default.
Features
- Start a random callout by pressing a key
- Force end a callout by pressing a key
- Set your callout availability to available and unavailable by pressing a key
- An on-screen text box that tells you if you are available for calls or not (You can disable this. if you disable this you will get a notification instead)
- Player Location Display compatibility so they don't overlap (You can set this to true in the ini file)
- Police SmartRadio integration to change your availability via the radio, and also starting a callout via the radio
Using the plugin
You can start a random callout while on duty by pressing X by default. Set your availability by pressing Z by default. There are also some settings you can change in the included .ini file.
If you installed the plugin and go on duty, a little box will show on your screen from Police SmartRadio. Here you can add the 2 buttons this plugin adds to the radio.
Installation
Drag and drop everything inside the “Grand Theft Auto V” folder to your main GTA V directory.
Default GTA V directory locations:
Steam:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Grand Theft Auto V\
