  1. Hi. Yes there are! There are two essential scripts to do that. I did exactly what you want to do, for the last couple of weeks. It takes some time to get it the way you want it to be. Start off with downloading these scripts. Maybe I can help you when you have taken a look. I got special cars spawning both as random patrol units (thanks to LEJS) and as backup units (Custom Backup) And you need some cars with the liveries of your liking of course. I prefer to not have all liveries in for example police. I keep them in other cars named paleto1,2,3 (includes sandy shores, vinewood hills, paleto bay skins) This is just an example of how I do it. Everyone has their own way.
  2. Hi. I believe almost all models have their own unique template. You have to find the correct skin for the model you want to use. Or you can get the template for that model, and alter the skin so it fits the template. That can be done with for example gimp or photoshop.
  3. @thejoshua79 did the tow truck come with any files like carvariations and vehicles meta? I had the problem once. I forgot to use the included files and that caused a crash.

  5. I'm with @Mags on this one. No sane company would invest the kind of money a game costs. Just for a small group of people to buy it. Gta together with lspdfr is almost too good to be true. Million dollar budget and a great fan base who creates wonderful content for a man child like myself. :)
    I've been using this skins for my sandy shores units some time now. And I'm always happy when they show up looking so good :) thanks. They look real good.
    A simple but nice and clean skin that adds to the feeling in the game. I now have units from Rockford hills police station spawning as backup and random units thanks to you!

Change the line that says handlingID from police to police2 (in vehicle.meta that is) I'm not 100% sure about this though (I'm not at the computer) but it makes the car go fast and it doesn't flip over. I might be mixing up police2&3. Try police3 if it still flips. I wish you the best of luck. My question to everyone else: Has anyone of you guys changed the hubcaps to shiny ones? I really love this car, been using it for two months almost. And the only thing I want to change is that. I would like shinier ones. But I really don't know how to do it. In the .ytd file the hubcap looks shiny. But not ingame.

  8. He might be referring to actual mistakes. I use a fpiu which has one takedown light pointing to the ground beneath the car for example. No biggie, but still. I love this pack though.
  9. The only thing I can think of is light settings in carvariations. I hope u get it sorted!
  10. What slots did you install them to? Did you get a custom carvariations.meta together with the cars when u downloaded them?

  15. Welcome to the club 🙂 Do you have els installed? Have you placed the corresponding .xml files in pack_default? And if your are on the latest version of GTA , scripthook doesn't work until it has been updated. Don't ask me when it get updated 🙂
  16. I'm not sure, but I think the gameconfig must be updated as well. At least I couldn't spawn my add on cars with that gameconfig. (I'm using the same one) So I had to revert to an older version of the game.
  17. You pick one of them. I use the one which is named 1 (gta base). You then put the gameconfig into the right place with help of openiv. The exact location is in the readme that comes with the gameconfig archive. I don't remember where it supposed to be. Good luck!
  18. I'm sharing my custombackup.xml to anyone who wants to use it as an example. I do it because I have recently been looking for more of these xml files to learn from others how they do it. It has state patrol set to a crown vic and fpui. No bike :) And I just added a set of cars with Paleto Bay skins spawning up in Paleto. Unmarked cars spawn in High crime areas and some of the areas with higher income. CustomBackup.xml
  19. Hello. I think there must be some confusion here. I have the exact same FPUI installed and have changed textures 100 times. It works without a problem. Just open the .YTD file in edit mode and replace the fpui_sign or what the name is? Good luck!
  20. In Albos mod mentioned above, adding extra- or existing peds, is described in the documentation. Maybe it suits the TS :)
