  3. Thanks for considering all of these things though; I can't wait 'till PoliceHelper becomes a one-stop-shop for any additions to LCPDFR needed.

  5. Assuming the original author of that LTD Crown Victoria model will never be getting back to Strike, does anyone know anyone else that undertakes San Andreas model converting? I've seen this LTD Crown Vic proliferated among San Andreas' modding and would love to have it in IV.
  6. Thanks! :D And thanks for clearing up that dispatch speech; guess I've gotta turn my speakers up or get a good set of headphones. Robbery is defined as when a thief uses force or other means, such as a firearm, to compel someone to give up their property or forcibly takes it from someone. Larceny is when no force is involved, such as a purse-snatching. Burglary is the one I am unsure of; I believe it involves breaking and entering or stealing something from private-property without force. Warrant Arrests meaning that you are given an order to arrest someone that currently has a warrant put out on them. Your description on this could also work as well. Undercover Stings pertain to an undercover operations in which an undercover police officer attempts to gain evidence on someone; purchasing drugs from a dealer for example. The undercover will then relay the information to the marked police units so they can make an arrest. Escorts are often used to move the vehicles quickly through traffic or through dangerous neighborhoods. Ambulances can be escorted under a variety of circumstances, but take the video clip below as an example. NYPD were escorting an ambulance carrying a shot officer; The prison breaks would be pretty awesome; something like a manhunt and just searching to find the criminal would be awesome. Officer requesting assistance could pertain to many things; maybe help with a foot chase, or during a traffic stop while making arrests. Good luck on the coroner mod; it will certainly be cool! Here's an idea for an addition to PoliceHelper though; being that we already have bait-cars, perhaps a prisoner transport driver would be an interesting scenario. Responding to where officers request the transport and then moving the criminals back to the police station or even jail depending upon the situation.
  7. More callout ideas, hopefully some of these are possible!; Foot Pursuit in Progress Stolen Vehicle Robbery/Larceny in Progress Warrant Arrests Motor Vehicle Accident/Vehicle vs Ped Drug Bust/Raid on Building Shots Fired/Shooting in Progress Undercover Stings Suspicious Person/Loitering Fight in Progress/Bar Fight Escorting Ambulances/Fire Trucks/Prisoner Transport Prison Break [Alderney State Correctional Facility] Automobile Theft in Progress Officer Requesting Assistance Stabbing Moving Violation/Damaged Vehicle Officer(s) Down Also, would it be possible to include some dispatcher dialogue along with these callouts?; he says just about every location, situation, and crime that you could ever encounter in the game - this file has all of his audio [it's not a soundboard, it is just the separate audio files.];
  8. Those NYPD scooters are always a joy to look at; I snagged a picture of some a few days ago in Manhattan; It would be pretty cool to see a mod, perhaps based off of a motorcycle. :D

  13. That first picture is from my gallery; thanks for enjoying the photo. The model is Sgt Kanyo's 2003 LAPD CVPI with black trim. It is sporting Port Authority textures courtesy of Luxart. Here's the Crown Victoria in question - The textures are from here - http://gtapolicemods...?do=file&id=512 I believe the Charger can be found here as well - http://gtapolicemods.com/downloads.php?do=file&id=292
  14. A better integration of in-game audio would be something much appreciated; the dispatcher calling out streets as a pursuit progresses, specific audio callouts relating to what you are responding to, etc. There are a ridiculous amount of voiceovers to take advantage of, though I'm not quite sure whether they are openly accessible or can be applied into LCPDFR.
  15. After watching the debates it is clear that Obama must gain this position once more. Romney's taxation plans make little sense, don't add up mathematically, and he doesn't go into specifics about them even when specifically asked to. He danced around and dodged all of the questions during the 2nd debate, interrupted both the moderator and Obama [and got subsequently stirred up when they did the same to him], and just gives off the out-of-touch rich white businessman vibe. The United States does not need the same tax-breaks for big business and a similar economic plan that got us into this mess in the first place. One of Obama's best rebuttals from the 2nd debate;
  16. Thanks for the quick feedback; I'll be getting to watching some more COPS episodes and pitching some more callout ideas out there. :D Pertaining to protests, perhaps a few people impeding the flow of traffic through an intersection, or even just running around causing general chaos in a group, perhaps armed with molotov cocktails could work? xD
  17. That is gorgeous!; definitely going into my game immediately. :D

  19. No problem, and although script-based chasing is impossible, there are certainly options for fantastic calls. By just watching a few episodes of COPS, many come to mind - burglaries/larcenies/robberies, protests, fights-in-progress, officer requesting backup, etc. Once again, I cannot thank you enough for your service to GTA IV's LCPDFR modding community. :D
  20. Glad to see your projects are progressing nicely, Abraxas. When you do plan to implement callouts into PoliceHelper, will you be taking to the community for suggestions?; that would provide quite a bit of variety IMO.
  21. Incredible I must say; the addition of a proper detective as well as the officers with the bullet-proof vests and plainclothes really do beef up the LCPDFR experience. The EMTs are nice as well, and I do like that firefighter with the oxygen mask on.
  22. V1 has the best sounding yelp and wail tones, but V3 has the best rumbler by far. Any way to combine them?
