  1. https://www.youtube.com/user/vdHmods/ Previews of new mods / new versions of mods. Planned weekly news report / small patrol series after I finish cleaning up PoliceHelper.
  2. Admissivecomic, do you have vdH_Errors.log in your main GTA directory? If yes, send me it please. Also does your pc is connected to web while running GTA? Please send me also ScriptHookDotNet.log.
  3. As Faracus said you have to edit dog position in INI file, but you also can wait few days for final version where in-game position editor will be available. Very useful little thing. There will be many nice updates like explosives and bomb squad, details on what drugs or firearms type was found in the car, upgraded attack and search features, dog status icon and separate command display, 2x less polygons but same quality dog model and many more small useful things. For now I have only one beta report and it's very promising. I still have to write and record video for installation and user guide, but it will be released in few days.
  4. Does it happen after you tried to install K-9 script? Did you save the game while being on duty in LCPD:FR? Try to reinstall K-9 mod, especially dog model files and sound files.
  5. Did you try to set livery to -1 in INI? It will get random livery with that setting.
  6. Really? I said that TWO times already! You may not find vdH_Errors.log, but you have ScriptHookDotNet.log for sure in your "Grand Theft Auto IV Episodes From LibertyCity" directory. Your system doesn't show extensions so it should be ScriptHookDotNet.
  7. LCDPFR sometimes can display update info without a reason. All in all without log I can;t help.
  8. If you have 0.91 yes, if you have 0.95 RC2 no.
  9. No, that's not it for sure. Looks like your PoliceHelper doesn't start at all which is very weird. I've never got reports about such behaviour. Without that log I can't help.
  10. Doubt it. You may not find vdH_Errors.log, but you have ScriptHookDotNet.log for sure in your "Grand Theft Auto IV Episodes From LibertyCity" directory. Your system doesn't show extensions so it should be ScriptHookDotNet. Also does your game pause when you hit "x"?
  11. Yup, that helped. It looks like it's installed correctly. Please paste here your ScriptHookDotNet.log and vdH_errors.log. They should be located in your main GTA directory. You can open them with notepad. I guess that LCPD:FR works just fine?
  12. Dou you have ScriptHookDotNet installed? I really can't get what are you doing wrong. Without TeamViewer connection I can't help. It's really hard to make easier to install mod than this one. COPY two files into scripts directory, that's ALL.
  13. I didn't prepare tutorial. Open PoliceHelper zip with "scripts" folder in it. In another window open your main GTA directory. Drag and drop "scripts" folder from zip into your main GTA directory. Click yes if windows will ask you if it should overwrite anything. I can't describe it any simpler.
  14. Does your game pause when you press X? If not, the script is not installed correctly and I have no clue what are you doing wrong. Maybe I could help via teamviewer.
  15. Yeah, and ou should extract them into your scripts directory. Update info in bottom right is info from LCPD:FR. PoliceHelper update info is displayed in top right corner.
  16. that is the folder, try to extract dll and ini files separately into your scripts directory. I guess you have installed LCPD:FR already? It says about new version of LCPDFR or PoliceHelper?
  17. Make sure you have dll and ini files in your scripts directory. Sometimes players confuse copying script folder from zip into main gta directory with extracting files from that directory, which causes landing of dll and ini files in main gta directory rather than proper scripts directory.
  18. As I said before. The best way to troubleshoot your game is to uninstall everything except LCPD:FR and then add one thing at a time and see what exactly causes texture loss. Oh and your pc specs have nothing to do with it. It's usually caused my scripts having memory leaks. Do you reload scripts often when you play? If yes you have to remember that it can cause leaving garbage data in memory that it deleted only when you quit the game or reload it (not only scripts).
  19. Do you get any text on the screen or error in vdH_Errors.log? If not you probably didn't install mod correctly. Did you copy dll and ini files into your scripts directory?
  20. I really love dogs, but I think that cop acted right. I was almost killed by a dog. You can't imagine how easily dog can knock down a person and get to throat. I live only because somehow I managed to grab the dog's neck and keep him away from mine. Thankfully I had great surgeon and he fixed my face really well ;)
  21. You have to test it yourself. PoliceHelper is well tested but it is so complicated that I can't guarantee that it is 100% bug free. I'm playing with all my scripts without texture loss, you just have to see by yourself if they work as they should in your game and on your system.
  22. I think you can try the new one. It has stretcher added and should be a bit more stable. You still can get back to older version if you wand. I keep older version on downloads page in case anyone have issues with new versions.
  23. 18.15 here too. Time to get ready to party. Open bar... I may not survive this :D Happy New Year everyone!
  24. I've forced mode 1 for multiplayer, maybe it will work better now.
  25. Just uploaded new version of script (waiting for approval). No major changes but now it should work for those who had problems. Because of problems getting proper beta release reports (especially multiplayer) from now on I will release new scripts after only short beta testing period without multiplayer support. Don't worry, I will try to make them work in multi, I just won't wait for reports from multiplayer before releasing the mod ;)
