  1. Dog model war originally converted and rigged by AC.Amir. He made really good work considering a lack of dog animations in game. For me wrong collisions are the most serious issue. I've tried to change them Zmodeler but without any success. Now with Amir's permission to use his model I can try again, maybe even manually in ODD format. And I didn't take it as blaming me or anybody else. Everyone has their own opinion :)
  2. I've just received permission to use Amir's dog model :) Now whole thing will be a lot easier to install. i hope that final version will be available before christmas.
  3. 1. Do you see PoliceHelper device? 2. Can you go to pause menu by pressing ESC? 3. Do you use any ENB mod? 4. Did you set your resolution manually in INI file of PoliceHelper? 5. Did you try to change your mous sensitivity settings? 6. Does LCPD:FR police computer works for you?
  4. I'll rewrite whole readme and description for next version. I'm afraid that I can't do much to prevent that problem in multiplayer. Attaching dog to car are only two lines of code (he isn't sitting in car, he is attached ;) ). Not very elegant but possible solution would be turning of dogs visibility while in the car. Thank you :)
  5. No Julian. I've screwed up instructions. You have EFLC and SparkIV and with that combo you won't be able to add file. Use OpenIV instead. It allows to add files. I will make it clearer in next version.
  6. ripflm if you decompiled all these scripts you would see how much work and how awesome is LCPD:FR. My scripts may be fun and something fresh but there are no way where is LCPD:FR in terms of stability and professionalism. Yes, it would be great to see new callouts in LCPD:FR but they try to make them flawless and it's extremely difficult. You can see how hard it is only if you start to script by yourself. Last and most the important thing. LCPD:FR as other mods are FREE and people spend their free time working on mods and share them. There are many interesting and important things behind firewall :) I make my mods quite fast because of the fact that my mods are far less complicated than LCPD:FR and I'm very productive in my real life work so if I try hard enough I have some extra time to script, but I work at home ;) You can have your own opinion, but I think you shouldn't compare my scripts to LCPD:FR, they are from different leagues :) PS: There are tons of thing to do in LCPD:FR, especially with addons like Braveheart's, my PoliceHelper and fun tools like K9 mod. With all these you get really varied scenarios. Also I'm sure Braveheart will be adding new things to his scripts and I have my own callouts in plans :)
  7. As usual new options will be set in INI so everyone will have as much realism as they want. I'll try to add that feature of Tom H. It's cool idea especially because my idea will wor only in TBoGT. Damn, that was planned for max 2 days of work with one feature, looks like it will be version 2.0 :D

  12. You will get callouts etc. If you get no info on screen after pressing ALT+P then LCPD:FR is not installed as it should, or something is wrong with GTA. Be sure to have latest GTA patch and run game as admin.
  13. Idea is kinda... extreme and more like easter egg than real feature, but you may like it :D I won't reveal it for now, because I don't know if it's possible to script.
  14. I don't get it. You ask which LCPD:FR version to use, or which one is braveheart's Policing Script? If it's first option go with 0.95RC2, it's the most recent one. If it's second option, here is the right link ->
  15. PoliceHelper will support it in some way. Actually K-9 Script will support PoliceHelper in future :) Plan is: TowScript: bug fixes and try to add ability to get rid of HUGE vehicles (not sure if I will manage to do that) METT: bug fixes and improved stability, support for K-9 script (bodies found in trunk) PoliceHelper: rewrite code, improve stability, add support for METT and the most important thing add callouts I don't plan to work on any other mods for now.

  17. everyone can change therr sounds as they want so I don't think it's a problem :) Does anyone have lagging problems during using K-9 Script? I saw in some other archived thread that "many users" had problems with lags and glitches but I had really small amount of bug reports. Most errors were caused by incorrect installation.
  18. What do you mean by "stop". Do is throw any errors etc? I plan to release new METT version soon, with some fixes so I may send you new test version. Mine coroner mod works just fine but I have not yet released version :D There is one problem with that features... they are already in :D You can search parked and pulled over cars no matter if driver is in or not. Dog is constantly doing passive drug search around him, but to not lag the game it's done every 5 second in 2.8ft diameter. I will increase a chance to find drugs a little in next version. PS: On that Max Payne sounds. I'd be glad to use them but I don't have the game. I don't think it's a problem that it's from another game, as most car models are converted from other games, especially where you have to buy Rockstars's GTA to play script that includes dog sounds made by them ;)
  19. Did you try to set it to something else? Also do you use left ctrl and left alt?
  20. You set your key to Del? That's not very wise. Just change it to some other key. If you didn'tset it to Del do the same.
  21. Not entirely. You go to what options? Did you try to change key. Also crash at that moment may indicate that you didn't install dog model or sounds correctly.
  22. You can't spawn it? Do you get any error messages?
  23. I have not seen any. I plan to add in-game coords editor in final release. Just to learn how to edit text files by script ;)
  24. The real problem is not if dog is sticking out or not but the fact that other players see dog attached to car in different positions. As I said try to set coordiates for specific car exacly tge same for every player and chef if it will help.
  25. Damn. That's not good. Ask your friend to set his coordinates in his ini file just like yours. It's really weird issue and I can't figure out why is that happening.
