That's a part of next version of PoliceHelper. Flares/lights will be altering road cones at night. They also can be put manually.

Oh, I've made that skin for myself and haven't released it. I'll find some time to finish Police2 version of it and will release a small pack (K-9 version included).

Yes, they can set something on fire. I may add that red light and leave flares as an option. I won't edit or create new flare model or something like that, because I'm not good in these thing. I prefer to focus on scripting.

Guys, calm down :) For now it's not that much more than previous PH. It is totally rewritten, almost every module has some little new features. Biggest for now are in-game settings, flares. You can also see traffic events. They are currently under development. I will reveal more in video, but it will take some time to finish whole system.

Thanks for that. I was strying to find that door but it cave me no matches. Looks like it was used in that beer garden. I'll look if it is possible to do something about it but PoliceHelper has the highest priority for now.

By default roadblocks use current police car (police1 or 2). Cones and barriers are set to specific models. You can change these settings in ini file. Some settings will be available in-game in next version, but not all of them. Also there will be more settings. I'll show you some screens next week.

It would be nice, but it's the same thing as with investigators and CSU units. It would require another ped and car model to load. Add to that one backup unit, tow ttruck, fire truck, maybe an ambulance and game is fucked. I try to keep balanbe between fun, realism, usability and stability. On PoliceHelper, for now there are small things. I'll just reveal what changed in id check. - now most people will have last names and country (if not american) based on ethnicity - ability to issue a warning or 5 fines from 50 to 200$ - more reliable 'attack' scenario - fixed displaying blip and device for too long

There is shutdown already. Some cars have only shutdown. some have shutdown with door lock and some don't have it at all. It is available in bait car menu when thief is inside the car.

Sound like a cool scenario. Hard to script, but cool. I have now huge list of things to do but maybe some day. As for bait car, remember that it only drives to chop shop when you see device with distance meter.

First of all these are cool ideas but I have many many more callouts on my list and I've just started rewriting of PoliceHelper, so I doubt I could add something like these in near future. 1. First part looks similar to drug deal from LCPD:FR, second like bait car. It's possible to do, but needs a lot of time. For example all chop shops in bait car missions are hardcoded, so I had to set position for EVERY bad guy on scene and car destination manually. In drug deals there would have to be at least 80 places where in bait car currently we have... 25 2. This one involves interiors which are hard to find in LC ;) To be honest I don't know exactly how that scenario should work. You get on the scene and then what? Usually interiors are small closed maps and peds have no way to run away.

I can't get vdH PoliceHelper to work
I guess you are dragging files rather than that scripts folder. Long story short make sure to put dll and ini file in your scripts folder tht's located in your main GTA directory.
