Maybe if we could read the error messages we would have the slightest idea as to what is wrong but until then, I don't.

Two main reasons, To stop piracy, you can't play the game without the CD so you can't install it, pass it to your mate then sell it. Sometimes games require alot of files so to save space some are kept stored on the CD instead of the Hard Drive.

For the armoured truck: Note you can use absolutely any model for whatever slot you want. Just change the name of the files before importing them. Edit: LOL, break, we posted the same link but you submitted your comment as i was typing mine :/

With the GTA San Andreas GXT Editor you can open the american.gxt and search for the vehicle then change it's entry to whatever you want. http://www.thegtaplace.com/downloads/f568-gta-san-andreas-gxt-editor-1-3 NOTE: I know its for GTA SA but it opens the GTA IV fxt files perfectly. It depends if he has changed his action key. If so it may be "A" if thats what he's changed it to in the GTA settings. MrDutch: Make sure you are standing in the circle when you press A. I know it's not much but if you are the tiniest bit out of the circle it doesn't work for me.

I think most mods are on GPM at the mo, unless somebody has their mods on mediafire you'll have to wait until its back up. Kinda sucks, right?

I've just uploaded ELS.V6 to mediafire with the only files that you need for ELS inside a .rar http://www.mediafire.com/?abzm4kbbanybcyw Download that and extract the files. Copy those into your root folder. When asked overwrite any files it asks you to. (PS: I uploaded my copy of ELS to mediafire because i know its a trusted copy and will only contain the files needed.)

Am i correct in saying that you use SNT (Simple Native Trainer)?. If so go into your game root directory (C:/Program Files/Rockstar Games/Grand Theft Auto IV) and then open up "Trainer.ini" with notepad. Find "Keybindings enabled=1"or similar and change to "keybindings enabled=0". This will disable any spawn keys etc. but to use SNT you will have to use the menu. the keys for this is F3, F4 and the numpad. Tom

Paste all of the files into the root gta iv directory (C:/Program Files/Rockstar Games/Grand Theft Auto IV)

go into your root GTA folder (C:program filesrockstar gamesGTA IV) and locate a fie called "ELS.ini". Open it with notepad and find a setting that is called "AI Enabled" < or something similar and then change the value from 1 to 0. This setting stops the ingame police officers using ELS so that it's only shown on the vehicle you are driving. this usually stops crashes etc. If that doesn't work a backup of vehicles.img is available here: http://polodave.webs.com/backups.htm In future only mod slots such as "noose" and "FBI" as they are used by AI less often and put less strain on your system.

If there are any problems during install of LCPDFR, or soon after. Run the diagnostics tool. Then post the text from the more information part of the tool. Thanks
