See at the moment i have a Radeon HD 2600 Pro 512 MB and can get 15 FPS with most settings on medium and two settings on high, Thats with 2GB of ram and a AMD athlon 64 X2 Dual Core. Do you think that i'll improve my FPS when i upgrade to a GTX 550ti SC ?

Yeah, i did go through the menu, but a FedEx or Crackhead didn't reallly seem to fit the profile :S I did however, force the onduty then spawn a unmarked car so i could stay as niko.

The diagnostics tool doesn't seem to pickup the asi loaders. I have a fully working copy of both LCPDFR and GTA and it doesn't pick mine up either. No extract all of the files from the ZIP to a location other than the root folder, then run the installer.

No problem pal, everyone was a newbie once. Let me know if you have any more problems. Also its LALT+P to start LCPDFR. Once you've updated to 1.0.7.0 you might want to re-install LCPDFR to ensure that you have everything you need.

Well in that case it seems that the GTX 550 TI seems to be the way forward. Thanks for your help! How do you think it would handle vehicle mods, the whole setup I mean.

I was going to get the Phenom II X6 1045T but was told that GTA wouldn't use all 6 cores and also that the Phenom II X4 has a 0.3GHz gain over it anyway. The X4 is only a tiny bit cheaper as well. Hi all, I'm looking at building my new computer soon but I have heard about RAM limits with 32bit windows 7. I am buying 8GB of RAM but heard that windows 7 has a restriction of 4GB. Will I still be able to use 8GB of ram or should I just buy 4GB? Cheers, Tom
